I love these adventures pets Moose, Bear and Tiger. They just seem to be so cute together. Because they seem like they are the ones that seem to less likely be friends.

The Rescues Best Day Ever is set after these three have been living with Cathy. They are starting to get very comfortable in their new lives, but it seems they have lots a of adventures ahead. There are three situations in this book that they have to deal with. The first is a trip to the vet, where they haven't been before. It is Tiger that steps up and shows Moose and Bear that it is nothing to worry about. The second situation involves a bit of a disagreement that Moose helps Tiger and Bear sort out, and finally they are home alone during a storm which had them scared as the lightening and thunder take on a life of their own. This time it is Bear that helps to calm his siblings and save the day. All of these events takes place in one day, giving us three exhausted pets at the end of the story. During and after reading this one, my grandson shared lots of stories based on his own experiences. The vet became his doctor, sharing the chair was related to all the times he and his siblings had problems sharing things and he was adamant to tell me he isn't afraid of storms. Although we had some good discussions, this book didn't seem to go over as well as the first. Perhaps if we hadn't read them one after the other, it would have been better. My granddaughter read this one to her brother later in the evening, and they both enjoyed their shared reading experience.

The Rescues Best Day Ever is a good intro chapter book. The chapters are short to keep kids' interest. The pictures are so well done. I love that each chapter is like a new story, but still connected. The sentences are simple for those early chapter book readers. Great book for a lower elementary classroom.

It’s that nice bridge between picture book and chapter book. The story is easy to follow, and the illustrations are fun. Kids will get excited by the antics the characters get into. This is a book number 2, but it can be read in any order.

Thank you Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. These opinions are completely my own.
Moose, Bear and Tiger are 2 dogs and a cat that are rescue animals. Such a cute and fun first chapter book for kids! My daughter is a sucker for any kind of animal book and loved this one with all the colorful pictures.

Moose and Bear, two rescue dogs, and their cat friend Tiger, are back after their adventures in The Rescues, settling in to their new home with Cathy. They have a trip to the vet that makes them a little anxious, but ends well. They fight over who gets to sit in the comfy chair, but decide that sharing is the best course of action. They also stay home alone when Cathy goes out, and have to deal with a very loud storm! The three friends make the best of every situation, and support each other with kindness.
I'm a huge fan of all of Greenwald's work, and this collaboration with his son, Charlie, is delightful. It's about the length and complexity of an I Can Read book, and has illustrations that evoke definite warm and fuzzy feelings. I probably won't buy a copy of this for my middle school library, but will probably have to buy one for myself to go along with the first book that is sitting on my shelves. I am all in favor of any children's books that encourages adopting rescue animals!

Fun early years chapter book. Easy to read with cute photos. I know I would of loved reading this with my parents as a child.

This was a cute early chapter book about animals. The study was cute and I enjoyed reading about the animals lives. The illustrations were adorable

Moose, Bear and Tiger in this beginning chapter book, go to the vets, share the big orange chair and survive a thunderstorm together. What a fun beginning chapter book. It has great illustrations and stories that children will enjoy. Such an adorable book! Can't wait to get this to share with my first graders.

LOVED this book and cannot wait to read it to my daughter!she loves animals and this book is right up her alley!

A fantastic book with awesome illustrations.
It's a book with 3 stories about these sweet rescue animals. Moose, Bear and Tiger are challenged with situations as they are trying to get used to their new home. It's fun to see how they react, knowing that a lot of children would act the same way. This helps then to explain to kids how they can be brave, scared, strong and share how they are feeling while going through it. Then keeping the faith that on the other side everything will be ok.
Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for the ARC.

Rainy days call for coloring and kids books. We absolutely loved these sweet books! The illustrations were beyond beautiful, and the stories were so fun. My son loved The Rescues Best Day Ever, because his aunt fosters dogs so he kept saying “Aunt Carlie doggies!”. I am very excited to show my older two The World is Full of Nouns! Such a fun book for elementary school. Adis New Home was super sweet and I Am A Potato was so fun! Thank you @netgalley @bookbuzzblog @redcometpressbooks for the advance copies of these sweet children’s book for our rainy day in the Midwest. ☔️🌧️ 🖍️

It's a cute book containing 3 stories all about 3 rescue animals (Bear, Moose and Tiger) getting used to their new environment. The stories are adorable with some good lessons (be brave and share) and the pictures are bright and colorful.
Adorable book, highly recommend for any kids who loves animals and pets.
