Finished the ARC and had it on my Kindle for some time, decided to give my review.

This isn't my first Jessica Sorensen book, she's one of the feel-good authors I go-to for some sassy fun read, and The Temptation of Lila and Ethan fit snugly into that category. I like the way her characters are relatable in a way that perfection is overrated. The author molds her characters with layers of imperfections, so they're irrevocably damaged in some ways, but somehow or rather makes you fall madly in love with them.

I read the first book in this series too, and I must say this is much better than the first.

4 Stars!

Wow, this was heart wrenching. Lots of sexual tension and damaged characters to go around. I love this author’s writing style and how her words make me feel.

Lila and Ethan are polar opposites. Different types of families, different socioeconomic backgrounds, but what lies at the core of them is the same. They’re friends, are they lovers? Their connection is undeniable and kept me turning the pages. I was really routing for them.

This is a heartfelt story about love and hope and I was there for every page of it.

The book felt a little long in a few places, but other than that, I loved it.

Requested and downloaded this book back in 2013 with every intention of reading it but then it expired on my device before I had the chance. Have felt bad about that and as a result haven't wanted to leave a review but with more and more publishers relying on Feedback ratings I need to clear out some of these older titles in my queue.

Thank You for the opportunity to review this book. Sorry, I attempted to read this book. However, I couldn't get in to it. So, I was unable to finish reading and reviewing it.

While I enjoyed other Jessica Sorensen novels I did not finish this book. I was not attached to the characters of Lila and Ethan and her style of novel requires a connection to the couple.
