Bleah! I only read this to fill in the gaps of some of the Fables-related stuff I missed, and this was not good. None of the original magic. Heck, not even up to the level of the Cinderella-focused stories where she's like a female James Bond (even though she's the focus here, acting as a detective to find out who's killing the most beautiful of all the female Fables). And it doesn't help to have a new artist every couple of pages--that took me right out of the story every time something remotely interesting threatened to happen. Plus, it starts and ends with walls of text--this is a comic, for crying out loud! I'm not looking to read through pages of text in a graphic novel. And when it's all sorted out, the solution to the mystery is pretty dumb, all told. All in all, I guess I really didn't miss much after all...

Seriously loved this! Back on top form. A good mystery, a good tying up of loose ends, ie Lamia and Business Office, Goldilocks (psycho bitch that she is). Also, adored all the different artist's, really steps the book up a notch!
