This book was a page turner from beginning to end. A girl in a newish relationship loses her boyfriend on the way to a dinner to meet his family. They just found out they were pregnant. His parents do not know who she is or how serious their relationship was. Then unexpected job opportunity as a nanny for a super rich and secretive couple where she will live on a remote island. There are unsuspecting occurrences with twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the end. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

My first novel by Rose Carlyle but definitely not my last. Filled with fabulous characters that kept me flipping pages long into the night. Some were so easy to love, some I loved to hate. So many secrets and lies , packed with tension. This one pulled at my heartstrings and trampled my emotions. Great read with a fantastic twist.
Thank you NetGalley, Rose Carlyle and William Morrow Books for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Thoughts - Thank you Netgalley and William Morrow for this advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest opinion. The storyline follows Julia and Chris, a couple who are hiring for a nanny for their child on a remote island in Australia. Along comes Eve who has no experience, but the couple really wants to have her start immediately. When I started, so much happened in the first few pages that I was HOOKED. The writing is fast paced and extremely twisted. The twist that tied it together wasn't amazing, but definitely was enjoyable.

Thank you, NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book. I wouldn’t classify this book as a thriller but, more as an adult mystery fiction. The characters were INSANE and the plot was even more insane. I didn’t really like any of the characters. The book switched between past and present a lot which was hard to keep track of at times.
I kept reading because I had to know what happened and I didn’t expect the twist.
In conclusion, this was an interesting book with crazy characters. It wasn’t the best book I’ve read but, it wasn’t the worst.

Outlandish, over-the-top, a crazy timeline, and a heroine that you'll seriously doubt (how many red flags can you possible miss, Eve??), but overall I enjoyed No One Will Know. It was really quick read (I was surprised to see I was already 60% of the way through and hadn't been reading for long) and had some heavy issues going on (namely adoption and human/animal trafficking). If I had one complaint, I would say that things progressed *too* quickly. Years skip in Eve's life as the chapters go on, and there's a sudden change to Julia's POV, which doesn't really allow for a deep look into very real issues going on in the world today. And though the ending is satisfying, it feels almost too easy, if that makes sense.
Thank you to the publisher for the copy of this book to read through Scene of the Crime and NetGalley.

I absolutely loved The Girl In The Mirror and when I saw this pop up, I just had to read it!
A woman is left alone, pregnant and with nothing. She runs into an opportunity to become a nanny for a wealthy couple. The couple are very unlikable characters. I can’t really go into too much detail or it will spoil the fun.
The first half starts off slow then definitely picks up in the second. Thank you to Rose Carlyle, William Morrow and NetGalley for the opportunity.

I liked Rose Carlyle's debut novel, The Girl in the Mirror, but this second book, No One Will Know, is even better. The prose is smoother, the action more intense, and the twists believable.
Eve Sylvester has found the man of her dreams, but when he is killed in a car crash, she finds herself penniless, homeless, and pregnant. Enter the mysterious Zelde Finch with an offer that will solve her problems: become the nanny for the wealthy Hygate family and raise her child with theirs. It appears idyllic: living in luxury on a remote island in Tasmania and giving her child advantages Eve could never afford. Eve accepts the Hygate's unusual offer, but it's not long before she has second thoughts based on unusual conditions tied to her employment. Why must no one know she is there until her child is born? What's happening with the mysterious yacht that sometimes comes in the night? These and many more questions give her pause.
The moral dilemma that Eve faces drives the plot: to what extent is she willing to go for the welfare of her child? This twisty, suspenseful story is entertaining and kept me guessing. The characters are interesting, and I rooted for Eve to overcome life's obstacles. 4/5 stars.

I seem to be in the minority here, but I found the plot of this mystery a bit too outlandish. The main character constantly makes choices that make you want to bang your head against a wall. The plot twists are so far-fetched that it's nearly impossible to suspend disbelief. Also, there are so many plotlines that are set up and go absolutely nowhere, making me wonder why they were even added in the first place. On a positive note, the pacing did keep me turning pages, and before I knew it, the book was over. It kept me entertained for an entire flight, even if I was holding back groaning in public for most of it. It's a good read if you're looking for nonstop twists and over the top plots.

Highly entertaining and addictive read! Eve Sylvester is a loner and a survivor. When she finds herself dazzled by the wealth of the couple who want to hire her as nanny to their son, she has no idea what sinister plan she is getting into! It’s really hard to write about this book without spoiling it. I have to admit that the beginning of the book threw me off balance and I actually double checked that I was reading the book I had downloaded, lol! But stay with it because it IS the right book and it will twist and turn until the very end. I really enjoyed the remote Tasmanian island setting of this book and the twists caught me completely off guard, so much fun! Thank you Netgalley, William Morrow, and the author for this eARC in exchange for my honest review. This book will be available for purchase on October 1, 2024

I really enjoyed this book . My only thought is that the ending seemed rushed and some of it didn’t make sense . Alec being just 6 , it seems unrealistic for him to be doing a lot of the things he’s made to do nearing the end . I feel the last half was very muddy . I like the idea of this book , I did enjoy it. Just I feel it needs some re writing .

3.5 stars, rounded up.
No One Will Know follows the story of Eve Sylvester, a young woman whose life takes a devastating turn when her boyfriend, Xander, dies in a car accident on the same day he was supposed to introduce her to his wealthy family. To make matters worse, Eve finds out she’s pregnant, but Xander’s family wants nothing to do with her, believing she’s a gold digger. Alone and desperate, Eve plans to raise the baby by herself until a chance encounter with an eccentric woman offers her a job that seems too good to be true—working as a nanny for a wealthy couple on a secluded island.
This is a fast-paced thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat. The structure and timeline are compelling, with the story leaping forward in time to gradually reveal key events, adding to the suspense. While some of the twists were a bit predictable, there were many surprises that kept me hooked. The main character’s naïveté, though typical for the genre, wasn’t too frustrating and didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the book. Overall, it’s a gripping, enjoyable read that kept me engaged from start to finish. If you enjoyed Carlyle’s “The Girl in the Mirror”, pick this one up as well.
I would like to thank NetGalley, William Morrow Publishing, and the author for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thanks to NetGalley and William Morrow for an ARC of No One Will Know in exchange for my honest review.
I was very excited to get early access to this book as I had enjoyed Carlyle's previous novel. While this book dis have some unexpected twists, I found them to be pretty preposterous and couldn't get past some of the more ridiculous elements. While I read it pretty quickly to see where the story would go, it ultimately left me unsatisfied.

If you like a mystery with a million twists, this is the book for you. Great for fans of Freida McFadden and Ruth Ware.
This book starts off with a sweet couple, Xander and Eve, deciding how they are going to announce their relationship to Xanders wealthy parents. Things go astray when he is killed in a car accident on the way to meet them. Eve has to contend with what to do about her 10 week pregnancy. She becomes involved with a couple, Chris and Julia, and enters into a contract with them. Throughout her journey, there are different characters, mysteries, and secrets within secrets. I don’t want to go too much into the plot beyond this, but know there is a lot of it.
This is where I would normally say that the book has “a slow burn,” but I have to tell you, this is in no way a slow burn. It is very fast paced, plot twist every few chapters. It doesn’t leave your head spinning, but it is for lack of a better phrase, a fast burn. This is a very easy read for those who like a real page turner. I read it while on a flight from start to finish.
Thanks to NetGalley and William Morrow for the ARC. Book to be released October 1, 2024.

This was a very twisty and satisfying psychological thrillers. I had high hopes for this book after The Girl in the Mirror and Carlyle definitely delivered again! There were a host of unlikable characters, but it was a thriller that had me questioning myself and really thinking about what I would do which to me is a good book. I recommend to all thriller lovers!

No One Will Know is the perfect creepy spooky season read! I loved this one and it might be my favorite book of the year!

I think I need to face the obvious here - Carlyle’s books aren’t for me.
I remember reading her first, thinking it was convoluted, over complicated and underwhelming. Sadly I feel the same here but the convoluted and over complicated are to the freaking Nth degree!
This was so incredibly preposterous. The main character was either dumb or we are lead to believe she is naive but NOBODY is that naive. The twists kept coming, but never fully made sense. IDK man…this was rough.
The pink spotted geckos!? Why?!?!?

I am so excited that I got an ARC of this book! I often try to figure out what is going to happen with thrillers like these but this one did not go how I thought it would. It seemed like all was good and I just kept waiting for a twist. But it was a slow burn of little bits of info getting dropped for you to try to piece together. And then it all came together with a juicy little twist at the end. I enjoyed it very much!!

So good! I read this in one day!
The twists keep coming and I didn’t predict them at all. It was a quick and easy read, Frieda McFadden style. Definitely recommend!
Thank you to NetGalley, Rose Carlyle, and William Morrow Paperbacks for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

The writing kept me reading but there was a bit too much going on here.

Thank you NetGalley and William Morrow for an early copy of No One Will Know. The cover is absolutely breathtaking!! This was a WILD book, who thinks of plots like these? There were quite a few far fetching parts with Eve but all in all a great thriller. I read it in a day. A bit confusing about the geckos but it all does come together. The epilogue was like WHAT?????? A great read!
