Absolutely addicting! I’ve been in a reading rut lately and decided to pick this up for a change of pace and I’m so glad I did! The plot was unlike anything else I’ve read and the suspense was killer! And just when you think it’s all wrapped up in a nice bow, there’s a twist that will knock your socks off. Well done, Rose Carlyle. I will definitely be looking for more of your books!

WOW!
Talk about a roller coaster. This book had me sucked in from the beginning and I could not put it down. Finishing it in 24 hours and I feel like I still wanted more.
The characters were amazing. The thrill was thrilling. The storyline was chilling especially since I just had a baby last year. I really loved how hard the FMC fought for what she wanted and what she knew was right.
Truly thrilled to recommend this to people and can’t wait for the pub date!

She did it again! I love this author and I wish she would write more! Thank you for the ARC Netgalley! This original story keeps you on your toes until the end. It hooks you from the beginning as well. Definitely recommend and enjoyed.

A very easy to get into book with lots of twists! I loved the setting - an island off the coast of Tasmania. The main character was pretty naive but also was alone, pregnant and broke so perhaps sometimes desperate times make us ignore red flags? Loved the ending!
Many thanks to Willam Morrow and NetGalley for this advanced copy in exchange for my honest feedback.

“No One Will Know” is a great thriller by Rose Carlyle she sets the book with a young woman placed in a terrible situation. The character Eve has suffered terrible loss but is given hope once again. Eve is constantly conflicted with her decisions but she soon settles in to her new life. After years of being blind to the truth Eve is faced with terrible truth. It is now up to Eve to fight for her survival and the survival of her children.
When I read the description of this book I was very intrigued, then I started to read the book and was a bit confused. The title page includes a description of a couple and how they have a certain plan. It was my thoughts that the book would be in perspective of the couple however that wasn’t the case. Other than the description on the cover page to be a little misleading I really enjoyed the book. Eve was a fantastic character and you could really feel all her emotions throughout the novel. I was surprised many times throughout this book, and just when I thought I couldn’t be surprised again I was.

This book was exactly what I had hoped it would be. It’s a good popcorn thriller with a few twists I did not see coming. I really liked the main character, Eve, and it was easy to root for her. Some of her decisions were a little questionable (like watching a horror movie when you want to scream “run!” at the screen) but Eve acknowledges the red flags and has her reasons for doing what she does.
The author does a good job of creating a sense of dread that builds as you go. Eve finds herself pregnant and isolated with only a wealthy couple (and their staff) to rely on. It’s clear early on that there’s some deception happening, but to what level we aren’t sure. I recommend this for a beach read or a quick weekend read. Thanks to Netgalley for providing a digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.

My mom always told me if something seems too good to be true then it probably is. This book entails this to the fullest potential all the way to the last page. I was personally sketchy about the situation that Eve was in from the first page of the book and that never changed, even at the completion of the book. This book was beautifully written and kept me on my toes the entire time I was reading. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Rich people and a thriller! I enjoyed this a lot. There were a lot of twists in this book and you just did not know what was going to come next. I really recommend this book!

This suspense book definitely had some twists and turns. I was a bit thrown off guard because the description is more from the couples' point of view but the book opens with Eve's first person POV and like 70% of the book is her narrative. I think I would've been MORE surprised by the twists and turns if the description had been solely focused on Eve's story.
The writing and plot are pretty solid. The prose is easy to read and the characters are engaging. Though, there are plenty of "why are you doing this" moments where I wanted to shake Eve for being dumb or naive, but at least the character justified her decisions (mostly?) The twists and surprises were generally set up well and I enjoyed the switches and was pretty surprised a number of times. Though some of the reveals/reasons didn't feel as meaty or strong as I expected. Overall, I was entertained while on my plane ride.

Well, that was definitely something.
I remember reading Carlyle’s first book and thinking “well that was convoluted AF.” I mean, I finished it. It was an ok read.
This one, on the other hand, takes convoluted to a whole new level. I’m not even sure I completely understand what happened here because it moved at a pace that was so breakneck that it was hard to keep straight. Chaos and half baked ideas and preposterous scenarios. And the stereotypical gotcha twist at the end that isn’t even shocking.
Fucking pink spotted geckos 🦎

This book was amazing!! Such a unique storyline with dark topics that aren't talked about enough. The setting is stunning, the suspense is intense and the twists are insane! 5 stars and a new fan of Rose Carlyle!!

“No One will Know” by Rose Carlyle is a thriller about a young woman who loses her betrothed in a tragic car accident as they are about to announce their impending marriage to his very wealthy and influential parents. The family wants nothing to do with her and although she finds herself pregnant and totally alone she tells the family she miscarried and plans to raise the child by herself.
With no options open to her she agrees to become the nanny for a beautiful and super wealthy couple who live on what appears to be an idyllic secluded, remote island off the coast of Australia. As she begins to think about why they would hire a nanny with no experience, pregnant, penniless and no family thoughts of possible danger begin to enter her mind.
If you think you might know where this story is going so did I. The first half of the book had me turning the pages as fast as I could to try and figure out what was going on. But in the second half, there are so many twists and turns, so many plot changes filled with greed and deception that I found it to be rushed. I also felt the main character was so naive that the choices she made weren’t believable. For this reason I am giving a 3 star review.
I do think you will enjoy this book if you are looking for a fast paced thriller with an unusual theme.
Thank you NetGalley and William Morrow for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Rose Carlyle's "No One Will Know" is a masterfully crafted psychological thriller that will keep readers on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
The story's premise is instantly captivating: a wealthy couple, Julia and Christopher Hygate, hire a pregnant woman named Eve Sylvester as their child's nanny. From the outset, Carlyle sets up a scenario ripe with tension and possibilities. The isolated island setting adds an extra layer of claustrophobia and intrigue, reminiscent of classic gothic thrillers.
Carlyle excels in character development. Eve, desperate and vulnerable, is a sympathetic figure whose motivations are understandable, if not always admirable. The Hygates, with their vast wealth and secretive nature, are deliciously enigmatic antagonists. The dynamic between these characters is electric, filled with unspoken tensions and hidden agendas.
The pacing of "No One Will Know" is relentless. Carlyle masterfully doles out information, keeping readers guessing at every turn. Just when you think you've figured out the mystery, another twist sends your theories spinning.
Underlying the thrilling plot are deeper themes exploring the nature of wealth, power, and desperation. Carlyle deftly examines how far people will go to maintain their status or to escape poverty. These themes add depth to the narrative, elevating it beyond a mere page-turner to a thought-provoking exploration of human nature.
Carlyle's prose is rich and atmospheric, bringing the isolated island setting to vivid life. The descriptions of the Hygates' lavish lifestyle contrasted with Eve's precarious situation create a palpable sense of unease that permeates the novel.
"No One Will Know" is a tour de force of psychological suspense. Rose Carlyle proves once again why she's a rising star in the thriller genre. This novel is perfect for fans of domestic noir and anyone who enjoys a story that keeps them guessing until the very end. With its compelling characters, intricate plot, and exploration of provocative themes, "No One Will Know" is a must-read that will leave you breathless and eager for Carlyle's next offering.

If you are looking for your next thriller, pick up No One Will Know. It was a great read that will keep you up all night!

I had high hopes for this but it was difficult to get through. The dialog fell flat and was hard to follow at times based on the way the characters talked. I really liked Alec was such a sweet character.

Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for gifting me an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Admittedly, I was not the biggest fan of Carlyle's debut, The Girl in the Mirror, so my apprehensions were thick with this release. To say I ended up being pleasantly surprised is a large understatement. I really, really enjoyed this book. It felt like a large step up from the author's debut with characters that were much more richly developed and a plot with a twist at almost every turn. I found this novel to be slightly reminiscent of the Last Mrs. Parrish, but it was different enough in plot and character that I hardly felt the comparison. I think this will end up being a breakthrough title for Carlyle as an author, with readers yearning for the summer that just left us behind still very much alive in her pages. Four stars.

I had high hopes for this one but hate to say it fell short for me. The story line was a bit jumbled in places. At the end, I can see how the pieces fit together. Eve was very frustrating for me. She didn’t seem very smart or to even try to help herself at all.

What started out strong for me, went off course with plot twists that had me wondering where they came from (one especially). These plot twists felt far fetched and unbelievable. As I neared the end of the book, I understood the twists a bit more...but then I was a little put off at how abrupt the conclusion was.

Oh my goodness, Rose Carlyle has done it again. Girl in the Mirror was one of my favourite books when it came out in 2020. I was so excited to read No One Will Know and it did not disappoint. I devoured it in just a few hours, even reading between quarters at the football. I just had to find out what would happen next.
The story is one that is tough to talk about without major spoilers. Go into this knowing nothing and you will love it. It is a story of motherhood, betrayal, murder, a family drama and so much more. Set on an isolated island off Tasmania, it is the perfect location for this twisty and shocking thriller. While you won’t like many of the characters, and you will question the main characters decision, you will absolutely have strong feelings whilst reading this book. It will go where you don’t expect and you just have to go with it.
Fantastic read 👏👏
Thank you so much to William Morrow for my advanced copy of this amazing book to read. Publishes on October 1st.

I blew through this in one sitting! It was that good I just couldn't put it down. It's packed full of suspense and it's also very twisted. The boundaries of how far a mother will go for her child are explored. The ending was so unexpected and jaw dropping. I don't want to give anything away so I will say no more, just make sure to read it for yourself!
