The Princess Bride meets the Princess Diaries in this entertaining rom com set in a fictional land. In a sweeping friends to enemies to lovers tale, will the main characters be able to reconcile their differences and find happiness, or will the past get in their way? This Will Be Fun certainly lived up to its name. I couldn't put this book down!

This was, in fact, very fun!! I have ZERO complaints or criticism about this book. Seriously. It was perfection. The writing, the banter, the world building, the ending - absolutely incredible. I fell in love with each and every character and their connections to one another. I will be buying a physical copy once this is released so that I can read it again! True to its name, this was a really fun read! I’m all for a good genre mashup and this hit the mark to a T. This is very much a romcom, but what makes this different is that it’s a romcom with magic and a quest! There are feelings, lots of discussion of feelings, but also romance, comedy, and a little steam. A great group of main and side characters. A cute pet and witty banter.

I loved the world building in this seemingly parallel universe to ours, complete with their own versions of ride share, “brew” (coffee) shops, texting and TV shows. The book starts out 10 years after the group’s first quest, and they are not in a good place. The story got a little slow for me through the middle, but once it picked up it was a great read and an ending that had me teary.

I loved this. It was so fun! I think everyone will find something to enjoy.

Normally I don't really read books that take place in another world just cause when I read I see pictures, iykyk, but the title was what drew me in. Just like the title said, it was a fun read. (Couldn't resist lol) Anyway the author does a great job with details so the world building was easy. I would definitely recommend if this is your vibe

This was such a fun cozy, adventurous with some romance story. I was shocked that this was written by three authors. I thought it was well written. I never felt like the story was choppy. loved the fact that we get MOVs which adds to the story. I honestly enjoyed all of the characters.

I highly recommend it!

I was immediately intrigued by this concept and premise. I enjoyed the read, the mix of cozy fantasy and adventure mixed with some great friendship, banter, tension, and a little spice made for a fun romance. I think there is a lot here that readers will enjoy.

This was cute - lots of bickering between characters & drama. I rounded 3.5 stars up to 4. I would enjoy reading more from E B Asher in the future. It was indeed FUN.

This Will Be Fun absolutely was just that: fun. I enjoyed the banter and bickering between the characters. I absolutely loved Clare, Vandra, and Hugh. Some of the scenes had me cracking up. I think this would make a great movie.

Sadly this was a DNF for me. I think this book will certainly have its audience, and there is some delightful and witty banter, but a third of the way in I was still having trouble keeping track of who was who and I just didn’t care enough to figure it out. But I will definitely say that cozy fantasy fans who like a good amount of bicker banter will probably like this! I just needed more to happen in the first third to keep me interested.

The immediate vibe is "cozy," and this feels really well-marketed. I stopped after chapter 1 (6%) but this should definitely go over well with fans of cozy fantasy. Solid 3 to 4 stars with 5 for the right readers.
