Sadly this book just didn’t grab as much as I hoped it would. I put it down and picked it up multiple times but I just couldn’t connect with it. Super bummed.

Why are Ms. Wolff’s books such a conundrum for me? That would be the case for Full Exposure. I liked the book. It had a good plot, the sex was steamy, the characters interesting. And then, I don’t. I feel like I keep encountering the same formula for the female character over and over. A heroine with a dark and broken past which rules what she does with her life.

Serena was just so frustrating. Girl, you got a stalker and you’re doing nothing about it?! And while you’re at it, how about getting some mental help for the nightmare of your past.

On the other hand, I liked Kevin. So sweet and sexy and yet, I got a bit tired of the French endearments. The sex between them was hot although there were a few moments that had me cringing, followed by skimming.

The over-all suspense of the story was well done. And then everything came crashing down with that last paragraph. Nope. This book did nothing for me. It did at least have a nice cover.

Stars: 2.5
I received this book from Netgalley. I was not compensated for the book other than the entertainment it provided. All thoughts and opinions are my own

here we have a photographer who is about to do a project with a sculptor... only problem is it is in a place which is full of negative memories for our gal. The two people have very hot chemistry and both are up to explore sex only.... then the bad stuff starts to follow our gal... Interesting read

Serena Macafee is running from a tragic past that she would prefer to forget but can't. It's hard to forget being there while your twin sister was being murdered by Damien LaFleur. Instead she throws herself into her work as a photographer. Her latest assignment is with Kevin Riley, famed reclusive sculptor in the wetlands of Baton Rouge, who happens to be drop dead gorgeous and looks like he could provide her some extra benefits! ;)

After spending more time together, things quickly heat up between Serena and Kevin. Kevin realizes that he wants more from Serena than she wants to give but he is going to be patient. As Kevin tries to break through Serena's defenses, he realizes that someone is out to harm her. The incidents seem to be happening since Damien was recently released from prison. Serena and Kevin, along with the Baton Rouge law enforcement, try to figure out if Damien is really involved.

After a final, explosive ending, Serena and Kevin were finally able to have their happy ending. I really enjoyed Kevin. He was a sweet, caring guy who spoke French to Serena all the time.....so sexy! He was just the type of guy to bring Serena back to really living her life again. Overall this was a quick, interesting read with a twist of a mystery added in.
