What a perfect conclusion to this series! This could have been longer and filled with more detail, more longing, more fighting, but it was the perfect length and there was enough detail to make a satisfying ending. I hope she writes more in this world!

What a great end to this trilogy! While the series overall followed some general tropes, this last book truly kept me on my toes. Every time I expected one thing something way better happened! I love Arwen and Kane so much and the whole crew. I really enjoyed how the story wrapped up and I hope we will see more from this world one day.

What to Expect:
* Warring Kingdoms
* Fae Dragon Shifter MMC
* Evil King
* Full Fae FMC Coming into Her Power
• Action Packed
* Found Family
• Prophecy
* Final Book in the Trilogy
I am so sad this series is over! I just love these characters so much that it's hard to say goodbye. Sometimes you don't know what you'll get in a final book of a series, but I'm happy A Reign of Rose didn't disappoint!
My emotions were all over the place in this book. My heart was broken for Kane in the beginning of the book when he thought Arwen was dead. We saw a sneak peak of how he was doing at the end of book 2, and book 3 picks up immediately after book 2 ends, so the events of book 2 are still very fresh for him! I felt the hopelessness Arwen felt at points while she was held captive by Lazarus, and I was so curious how everyone would get out of the predicaments they were in.
I loved the character growth. I’m left with some unanswered questions and hope we get Mari’s book next!!

I wrote a review on Goodreads:
I received a very early ARC of this book! I loved the first two books in the series and was very excited to receive book three. The story for Reign of Rose didn’t flow as well, for me. There were parts I loved and was excited for and then parts where I had a hard time staying in the story.
I love the characters Kate developed and it was hard to see them really struggle.

What a wild, emotional, and satisfying end to an epic trilogy! This final book was everything I needed and more—a powerful close to Arwen and Kane’s story, and the perfect final chapter for the Onyx Kingdom series.
Arwen’s growth was incredible, she’s thrown into darkness and claws her way out with grit, grace, and heart. By the end, she’s not just a survivor—she’s a queen in every sense, and I loved watching her transformation.
And Kane? Complex, intense, and impossible not to love. He’s a king torn between vengeance and duty, and his journey had me holding my breath more than once. The prophecy, the pressure, the passion, chef’s kiss.
Kate nailed the ending. Emotional, epic, and deeply satisfying. I’m sad to say goodbye, but wow, what a send-off.

Thank you so much Berkley and NetGalley for this ARC!
I remember picking the first book of this series up on a whim - there was just something about the cover that was so inviting so I said why not? Let’s give this a try. Well, oh boy. I was hooked. I couldn’t put the first or second one down and then I had to wait for the final installment to come out which felt like a special kind of torture. Anyway, what a beautiful cherry on top to such a delicious series. The world building, the romantic tension, the combination of headstrong-ness and self assuredness between our hero and heroine. It was just everything you could want in a romantasy series and I can’t wait to reread them all again one day!

This is the last installment in the series and what a great conclusion. Featuring a slow burn romance, dual POV and all the magical creatures, fae, and witches.
*many thanks to Berkley Romance and Netgalley for the gifted copy for review

The conclusion of such an amazing trilogy is always a little sad, especially since I've really enjoyed my time spent in this well-developed world with these incredible characters. The author did a great job of filling in all the blanks and answering any lingering questions so that the ending felt conclusive. This is a truly entertaining fantasy series and I can't wait to see what's next. The audiobook was a fantastic way to experience this story and I highly recommend it.

This book was fine, but nothing to write home about. The story had its moments, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression. It wasn’t bad, just not particularly memorable. If you’re invested in the series, it’s worth a read, but I’d recommend borrowing it from the library before spending money on it. A take-it-or-leave-it kind of read.

Of course this was worth the wait! I inhaled the last two books! This did not let me down! I love this book!

I binge read this in, like, 2 days. It’s an amazing conclusion to the trilogy and I just loved everything about it. I’ll miss Arwen, Kane, and all the incredible side characters, but at the same time, I’m so happy with how everything ended that it makes me sort of glad that the story concluded so perfectly? If that even makes sense?! 🥹
Truly, this entire series deserves 15 stars because I adored all 3 books.
✨Fae, humans, witches, dragons
✨Slow burn, steamy romance with tension and banter
✨Found family
✨Emotional damage
✨Dual POV
✨Action packed and well paced
✨Fight to save the kingdom

I liked the way this book wrapped up mostly nice and neat. It wasn’t as food as the first two but still fun to read. I definitely recommend reading it, especially if you read the first two.

this really just didn't seem me, I miss the banter of the two characters, the plot was predictable, sadly I loved the first book but the others lost that magic for me

I had the awesome pleasure of being on the ARC team for all three of the Sacred Stones books and it’s been a journey. I can’t wait for Kate Golden’s books in the future.
I thought this was a great way to wrap up the series, and even hint at a possible spinoff one day. The ending of book two had me STRESSED so I was excited to see how this one would go. I’ll miss Kane and Arwen and their adventures. I need a Griffin and Mari story NOW.
Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun fantasy experience. This series has a special place in my heart. 🩷

I have mixed emotions when it comes to this book. I was really excited to enter back into this world and I was left feeling unsatisfied - the story just fell flat.
The beginning I was feral for the main characters to be back together especially after book 2 ending but the fact that it took almost half the book to get to that point was agonizing. Also, how the heck did we squeeze in a pregnancy trope and only-one-room in the mix.

4.5⭐️
Bravo. Well done. It had everything a well balanced, gripping romantasy should have: the perfect amount of world building, spectacular imagery, war politics (but not too much), intriguing plot and finally steamy angsty romance with a hot Fae king. I loved it. I also see some great potential for Mari and Griffin’s story especially because Mari’s work in Evendell is not done 👀 but that’s just me hoping for more from Kate Golden and this world!!

Such an incredible romantasy series & what an epic conclusion!!! I absolutely loved Kane & Arwen and all of the amazing side characters {I'm begging you Kate, please please please give us more of Griffin & Mari}. This book had so much action and plot twists and emotion and wow I just adore this series so much.

The final book in the Sacred Stones series and it was such a nice way to end the series. This series is a great romantasy series and I had fun reading all three books. The story wrapped up nicely and though I could absolutely do with another book following these characters, I had a great time regardless! I really enjoy Kate Golden's writing and can't wait to read what she writes next. Her world building is really well done and the series is one that I will absolutely be recommending!

This is the final installment of the Sacred Stones series and I am sad to see it end. It’s been a while since I’ve read a romantasy that grabbed me right from the jump. I devoured the first book and couldn’t get enough. And now here we are, at the end of the series.
I’m not sure how to review this book without giving anything away but let me tell you that I dragged my feet. I just didn’t want to say good bye.
Because it is final installment, there was a lot going on. It was action packed but I did feel like the middle was a tad bit too long. But it was fine because it introduced me to new characters and I got to spend more time with the ones I’ve loved since the beginning. If I had to pinpoint what makes this books so good is that Kate Golden has a knack for creating complex and relatable characters. Plus her world building is amazing!
But overall, this book was great and the series is just plain awesome. Highly recommend to romantasy lovers.

I absolutely loved this book. Anything that Kate writes? I just know it’s gonna be incredible. From the beginning from the middle to the end, hands-down, my favorite series out there.
