I'm a sucker for broody characters. I read this book back when I was younger (so many years ago) and I re-read it recently. It's well written, but my biggest issue is that I struggled the entire time with empathizing with the characters. I wish that there was more pull to make the characters sympathetic. Outside of that, I thought the plot structure was solid, and the work itself was worth of four stars.

This book was requested when I was young and requested more books than I could possibly read. Sadly, I no longer have access to this book and my tastes have changed. Thus I will not be able to give feedback on this title.

The writing style and plot was difficult to get into the flow. However, the blurb was quite interesting. But iy wasn't my cup of tea.

I received this book years ago in retuned I promise to review it honestly! I will tell you I was quite a bit younger when I first read this and I didn’t make it past the first few chapters. And again now having tried again.....I’m positive this is a mess. I felt like I couldn’t connect with the characters and their drama. I also felt like it was kinda not in my wheelhouse. I honestly couldn’t finished it again and that it was my very last attempt.

Couldn't get into this, didn't particularly like the characters so gave up about 20% into this
