Interesting to see the events of "Sleep No More" from Tybalt’s perspective, which we've only really had previously in the shorts. Tybalt definitely has more agency than October does in this period, so we go all over the place including fun diversions to Undersea, Golden Shores, and the Library, and it's lovely to see more of this beautifully fantastic world. Plus once again we see how perfect a partner Tybalt is for October. The companion novella with its rich dark portrait of Undersea was also wonderful.

Thank you so much for making this book available for Hugo voters. I’m not up to this book in the series but Seanan will always have my vote.

Please note: I have been given access to the books in this brilliant series in order to judge the for the Hugo Award for Best Series. I would certainly appreciate it if my feedback or lack of it does not count against my ratio if I don’t finish all sixteen.
Thank you for understanding!

This was another enjoyable October Daye novel by Seanan McGuire.

Unlike most of the novels in this series, this was written from the view of October's husband, Tybolt, the shapeshifting King of the Court of Cats. This book was also cool since it was a retelling of the previous novel in the series from his point of view. It was fun to contrast what happened with different characters during the same event.

I thank the author and publisher for kindly sharing this electronic review copy.

I received a copy of this novel from the publisher as part of the Hugo Award Voter’s Packet. I am grateful to the publisher for giving us voters a chance to review and read through the nominees. I promise to give each and every nominee the respect and opportunity that they deserve before I cast my vote.
