I enjoyed this book about the 10 year reunion since the group of girls, sorority sisters, Zetas, returned to their alma mater, and also the scene of the murder. It was a good story and held my attention wondering what would happen next.

Our characters are linked for life after a murder is committed at their Uni. Now the murderer has been released from prison and we are in the present day. It’s a great book and it is nice to see the long term bonds of female friendship.

Zetas Till We Die by Amber and Danielle Brown was a roller coaster in a good way. I wasn't sure what to expect aside from it's a thriller. I received an ARC of Zetas Till We Die through NetGalley and loved it. It was hard to put down. The novel follows sorority sisters who after ten years are having a reunion party. Ten years ago, one of their sisters was killed and now, her killer is out of prison. Not letting that stop them, the party must go on. Reunited, the sisters reminisce about their good old college days and even about their missing sister. The next day, when one of them doesn't make it home they almost start to panic but try to stay calm. No one has proof that anything bad happened to her. But they also don't have proof of the opposite.
Zetas Till We Die is a story of friendship, secrets, and strength. I enjoyed this because of that. As a sorority girl myself, I can imagine what a reunion would be like and then for one of us to not make it home! In my sorority, we care about each other (just like the Zetas) and a lot of us have each other's locations, we also have a group chat where after events, we text each other when we get home. Sisters take care of each other, no matter what. And not being able to take care of your sister sucks, to put it simply.
This was a fun thriller for me to read in the sense of I can relate to an extent, and I was easily able to put myself in Priscilla's shoes. I enjoyed the story because of that. I was worried about her sisters as if they were mine. Wondering what went wrong and why it did. My favorite thing about this book was Priscilla and her wanting everyone to be okay, being the one to check on everyone. I'd love to have her as my sister.
If you like thrillers, sororities, or even just want a book about the past and how it affects the present, check out Zetas Till We Die by Amber and Danielle Brown.

This one was okay—not terrible, but not great either. Zetas Till We Die is more of a mystery-thriller, and while the premise was interesting, the execution fell a bit flat for me.
The story kicks off with five Zeta sorority sisters reuniting years after college. Back in their college days, one of their line sisters, Lupe, was murdered. The group testified against a man named Travis, who was convicted and sent to prison. Fast forward to the present: Travis is released from prison due to prosecutorial negligence—conveniently right around the anniversary of Lupe’s death—and now, one by one, the surviving Zetas are being murdered.
Travis claims he didn’t actually kill Lupe and insists the real killer is still out there. He blames the sisters for ruining his life and hints that he’s out for revenge—but not in the way everyone expects. So the mystery unravels from there, as the story works toward uncovering who actually murdered Lupe.
It started off strong and had potential, but the pacing slowed way down in the middle, and I found it pretty predictable. There were a lot of unnecessary details that didn’t really add to the story, which only made it drag more. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t really enjoy it either. It just didn’t land for me.
Overall, it’s a decent concept, but the follow-through was lacking. If you’re really into sorority drama mixed with a murder mystery, you might enjoy it more than I did—but for me, it was just okay.

I really want to go back and read the other books by these authors as this was a really good book. I hope to find time to give these other books are read and continue reading their work in the future.

3.5 rounded up
Priscilla is giving a reunion party
The gang is all here except 1
Lupe was killed years ago when they were still in college
The killer that was convicted is out. He insists he didn't kill Lupe, but everyone testified that it was him. He had blood on his hands!
Since the reunion, the Zetas are dropping off 1 by 1. The sisters are dying. Someone is out to settle the score. Perhaps Travis has been seeking revenge since he is out
The sisters better figure it out quickly before there aren't anymore of them left to do so

I liked that this whodunnit was based around a sorority sisters reunion. It had all of that collegiate drama and a lot of characters to choose from to be the culprit. I enjoyed the alternating timelines and how they told the backstory of the women and how it ties into the the current mystery at hand. Overall, I found most of the characters truly unlikeable and not at all relatable. However, I liked the storyline and all of the twists thrown in. This was a fun read for those who like a college-themed mystery!!

As a sorority girl, I won't lie. I picked this book up solely based on the title, and you know what? I'm glad I did. While the storyline is entirely predictable, it's still GOOD. Also, it may just be more predictable to me because I've been reading a lot of thrillers recently. Overall, I think that this is a very good book and I would recommend it to any thriller fans.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the early release of Zetas Til We Die by Amber and Danielle Brown. All opinions are my own.
"Zetas Till We Die" by Amber Brown and Danielle Brown delivers a fast-paced mystery that explores the complexities of sisterhood and the lingering shadows of a past tragedy. Ten years after their college graduation, the Zeta Phi Zeta sorority sisters reunite, but the celebration is marred by the recent release of Lupe's convicted killer. Priscilla, determined to honor Lupe's memory, pushes forward with the reunion, hoping it will provide a much-needed distraction. However, the festivities take a dark turn when another sister goes missing, forcing the group to confront long-buried secrets and the possibility that Lupe's murder was not as straightforward as they believed.
The book excels at creating an atmosphere of suspense. The authors effectively weave together elements of a thriller and a sorority drama, capitalizing on the close-knit yet potentially volatile dynamics of the group. The premise of a reunion haunted by a past murder is compelling, and the authors maintain a good level of tension throughout.
One of the strengths of "Zetas Till We Die" is its exploration of the enduring bonds of sisterhood. Despite the passage of time and the emergence of personal conflicts, the Zetas' loyalty to one another remains a central theme. The narrative delves into the complexities of these relationships, highlighting both the support and the rivalries that can exist within a close-knit group.
The book is an easy and quick read, making it suitable for those looking for a light yet engaging mystery. While the book keeps you guessing, some readers might find certain plot points predictable, or the character's actions a little too convenient. I was able to get an idea of the reveal early on, which is a common problem in some mystery novels. However, the authors did a good job making you doubt yourself.
The themes of secrets, loyalty, and the consequences of past actions are well-explored. The book touches on the idea that time does not necessarily heal all wounds and that unresolved issues can resurface with devastating consequences.
While the book had potential, and I enjoyed the sisterhood aspect, I gave it three stars. It's a solid mystery for those who enjoy the genre and are drawn to stories of sorority life, but it may not leave a lasting impression.
In summary: "Zetas Till We Die" is a decent mystery with a compelling premise and an engaging exploration of sisterhood. It's a quick and easy read, perfect for a weekend binge, but it may not satisfy those seeking a truly groundbreaking thriller.

This was a thrilling and suspenseful read. I will admit that I was sometimes "out of the loop" for the designer fashions these girls wore (what can I say - I'm old) but I liked the sisterly feeling of the sorority, the differing points of view, and of course, the mystery! I'm always impressed when two authors can work on one novel and it feels cohesive.
Definitely one I'll be getting for my college age daughter to read - she loves mysteries, too!
Thanks for my review copy!

okay I usually do not like multiple timelines but this was alright. I did enjoy Priscilla as a main character. The mystery was pretty easy to figure out, including who the killer was. The book was a bit too long and the other characters were introduced a little too late in the story for me to connect with them. overall a good book.

Zeta's Till We Die is an exciting, fast-paced story of loyalty, survival, and sisterhood. Amber and Danielle Brown’s writing immerses you in their world, creating a compelling, action-packed read.

The story follows a determined protagonist who navigates this treacherous landscape, battling against the powerful Zeta cartel while grappling with personal demons and moral dilemmas. The author's vivid and unflinching portrayal of the brutality of cartel life is both shocking and compelling, drawing readers into a world where survival is paramount.
The pacing is relentless, keeping readers on the edge of their seats as the plot unfolds with unexpected twists and turns. Character development is strong, with multi-dimensional figures who evoke empathy and provoke thought about the choices they make. The themes of loyalty, revenge, and the impact of crime on society resonate throughout the narrative.

Arc Review - thank you netgalley.
I really enjoyed this books tone/vibe. That being said, I did call the murderer pretty early on which was a bit disappointing.
However, the characters were compelling and I enjoyed their flaws. I was expecting this to be in a sorority but this takes place years after. Overall if you're looking for a mystery/thriller that has good vibes, this is it.

Just couldn't get myself invested in this one; was pretty run of the mill for a thriller. I do appreciate short chapters, though, but wasn't interested in reading adults acting like teens.

This book was very interesting! At first I really struggled with how slow the story was. The past time line was so minor at the beginning and did not add to the story until much later. Like I wish we would have see more of the past in detail at the beginning of the story instead of the repetitive I felt like I got from the first fortyish percent of this book. It took so long first the first buddy to be found and then all the sudden more people were dying. But when everybody started dying things will started to build in the story!! There was some plot points that I felt like did not really add to the story. They were suppose to be distraction to keep you from figuring out the "mystery" but they were just adding words and pages. I did not feel like they actually effected the story in big ways to have been such "big" things. Once everything got going tho I was there for the story! The last 20% was great!! The big plot twist that came about the past was so well done and had me gasping out loud. If you like Mysteries this is a good one to add to your TBR. The last thing I will say is: Justice for Travis.

Zetas Till We Die by Amber and Danielle Brown is a mystery thriller that follows Priscilla and her Zeta Phi Zeta sorority sisters as they reunite for their ten-year college reunion. It's been a decade since they were all together, and since one of their own, Lupe, was murdered. The man convicted of Lupe's murder has just been released from prison on a technicality, casting a shadow over their reunion. Determined to honor Lupe's memory, Priscilla insists the party must go on. However, when one of the sisters goes missing after the party, Priscilla realizes that the past is far from settled. As secrets unravel and the danger escalates, the Zetas must confront the truth about what really happened the night Lupe died. The character development is solid, particularly with Priscilla, who emerges as a strong and determined leader. The dynamics between the sorority sisters are well-explored, highlighting themes of loyalty, betrayal, and the lengths people will go to protect their secrets. However, some of the secondary characters could have been more fleshed out to add depth to the story. The pacing is generally good, though there are moments where the story feels a bit slow. The suspense builds effectively, leading to a satisfying and unexpected conclusion. The authors do a commendable job of weaving in the backstory and the present-day events, creating a cohesive and compelling narrative. Overall, Zetas Till We Die is a decent read with a strong central mystery and well-developed main characters. Despite some minor flaws, it shows promise for Amber and Danielle Brown as writers. I'm curious to see how their storytelling evolves in future works. #netgalley #zetastillwedie

Thank you to Grayden House for the digital copy to review.
This is my second read of this sister author duo, and I really enjoyed it. Told in two timelines, past and present, I thought that while this took a little while to set up, the dual timeline worked well here. I was vested from the start and did not see the ending coming at all. I am looking forward to seeing what this duo writes next!

At first I was totally drawn in! I was flying through the first part of this story because there was just so much going and so many mysteries! The middle part was intriguing with all the secrets coming out all the crazy things happening. However, the ending was not really what I was hoping for after getting the whole story. I also wasn’t a huge fan of all the infidelities that were going on. I think the fractures of the main character’s relationship with her husband really made me not as interested in the story. Overall it was a twisty, mostly exciting book, but in the end I wasn’t super impressed.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. As someone who detested sororities in college, the premise sounded interesting and I wanted to give it a shot. All of the sisters had unlikable traits but they were messy and I was here for it. The reveal of whodunnit was fairly predictable but I enjoyed the twists and turns along the way. I really love how the author worked through Travis’ character arc. If you are looking for a whodunnit that also reads a bit like a reality show then give this a go!
