This story was not for me. I couldn't connect with the characters which led to me not being invested in their story. Ally and Kale were average characters and their romance didn't make any sense to me. Either they were fighting or having sex. The few candid moments weren't enough for me to recognize their connection which just turned me off their romance. And the added conflict just felt flat. I found myself skimming through most of the book, which is never a good sign.
