This was such a good romance book. I loved the characters. This is a big city guy moves to the country for the summer with his niece that he is the guardian of after his sister died, He meets his quirky animal loving neighbor and discovers he might not hate small towns as much as he thought he did. At least not this small town. Oh and he is a chef! The love story is so good. This was a great one and the narrator was amazing.
Thank you to NetGalley and Macmillian audio for the opportunity to listen to this audiobook.

While I really enjoy this audiobook, I listened to it halfway and it just wouldn't play for me. The ALC was probably corrupted. Not sure. I contacted support for help, but It didn't help. So I went and bought the audiobook myself on release day.
Besides that, I had a really fun time with the audiobook. It was funny, heart touching, and sweet. This was my first read from Tarah Dewitt, and I need to read more of her books.
Sage just broke up with her ex-boyfriend of 5 years, and with her living in a small town, makes it even harder. Fisher is new in town with his niece. He lost his job as a chef in a Michelin restaurant, and is now his niece's guardian. The relationship buildup of Sage and Fisher was quite slow, but I love the growth of it. I totally recommend it!!

I reallly liked this book! A cute summery city vs. country romance with some light and heavy aspects!!! It also was a super fast read!!! This was my first book by this author but not my last!!
Thank you to Griffin for the review eARC and @macmillan.audio for the gifted ALC!!!

I loved this audiobook ! I could not stop listening. The romance was so quirky and fun. Loved the small town vibes. The narrator did a great job keeping my attention. Will definitely read more books by this author.
Thank you Netgalley and Macmillan Audio for my digital arc in exchange for my honest review.

Listened at 2.5x narration speed with no issues. Enjoyed the dual POV approach, with the matching narration. I preferred the male and his voices a bit more, but the female did not in any way harm the story.
This was the classic rom-com that everyone could see coming from page one. Sage and Fisher both gave me moments of giggling, but it was Sage's brood of brothers that really struck the humor for me. Sage's rescue animals help add to the small town vibe while simultaneously adding a lightness to the story. This was just a feel-good Hallmark-esque story from beginning to end.
Overall: 4 stars (I really liked it)
**Thank you to NetGalley & Macmillan Audio for the free ALC. All opinions expressed are my own.**

Unfortunately, I will not be reviewing this title as part of the SMP boycott. Publisher aside Tarah already knows how much I love her.

Tarah DeWitt has grown so much as an author and I will be accepting no criticism of this, despite my often lean to note what I don't like in writing. Fisher and Sage smacked me across the face with their imperfect situationship and like a heat wave in the Anthropocene, thawed my ice cold heart. I am a puddle of a woman.
It’s 5 stars. Would give it over 5 stars if I could. Voice narrations deserve an award. So great!

While I do post reviews for books I enjoy, I realized that this is an SMP title after I finsihed reading, I'm holding of my review until SMP makes an public statement gaurding an employees harmful rhetoric.

This audiobook was absolutely wonderful! The story was engaging and well written. The characters were interesting and well developed. The connection between Sage and Fisher was sizzling hot. Fisher and his niece move to Spunes, Oregon. He's a big time chef that fell on some trouble at his past job. He's recently taken custody of his niece, Indy, after his sister died. He's struggling a little bit in life and decides to take a temporary job to oversee a restaurant opening in small town, Spunes. He meets Sage after a hilarious "vacuum" misunderstanding. The town doesn't take well to newcomer, Fisher, and Sage has to step in and help him. In return, Fisher will compete in the town competition. This book was so much fun. The pacing could be a bit slow at times, but it didn't deter me from continuing to listen. This one was heartwarming, funny and held my attention rom beginning to end. I can't wait to read more by this author. The narrators had great voices and really brought this book to life. Huge thanks to Macmillan audio and Netgalley for allowing me to listen and review this audiobook.

I cried… twice! I’m not a book crier and this book did it!
I was so touched by their story. Being a teacher as well I related a lot to Sage with her heart and love of animals. I adored how her mom gives her this wonderful advice, even though she’s not there. The journal oh my God, I cried like a baby. I loved Fisher and his dedication to Indy as well as his dedication to his job. It was so good so so good.

Perfect, flawless, immaculate. If Tarah writes it I will be eating it up 💅 also HONK HONK I LOVE GARY THE GOOSE 🪿

I enjoyed this book but found it kinda slow. The characters were great and DeWitt covered heavy topics well but something about it didn't do it for me.
Thanks to NetGalley, St Martin's Press & MacMillan Audio for advance copies

All of the stars!!!! Infinity of them! Tarah knocked it out the park with this one and it will be the talk of the summer for sure. I just loved the connection of the characters and their relationship development. The audio was just incredible and the narrators were chosen perfectly.

An absolute GEM of a read. I read an early copy of this and getting the ALC was even better the second time around. These two narrated embodied these characters better than anyone I could’ve imagined. The story was told in such a way that highlighted just how fantastic of a story that Tarah wrote. This book had me captivated from the very beginning and I couldn’t stop listening to these two until the final words were spoken. It’s a beautiful story that was transformed in a way that you feel like it breathed new light into this book.

I loved this book. Single guardian is my favorite trope. Sage and Fisher were a lovely couple. And steamy scenes were a hot. Spoons was a wonderful small town with the usual small town shenanigans. I liked the male narrator a lot.

This review is for the audio book. This book would have had a higher rating if the story content OR the narration was exceptional. Both were just OK. The story was kind of bland, and honestly the best thing about was the notable pets. Both narrators had the problem where the voice is great for their own gender, but not good for others because they try to take their voice too high or too low. This makes it very distracting for the overall listening experience.
Thank you to netgalley for the ARC. Opinions are my own.

Tarah DeWitt’s "Savor It" is a delightful romcom set in the charming coastal town of Spunes, Oregon. Sage Byrd, reeling from a breakup and determined to prove herself, teams up with Fisher Lange, a grieving chef on sabbatical, for the town’s annual summer competition.
Their strategic alliance quickly turns into something more, filled with steamy encounters and emotional healing. DeWitt’s skillful storytelling captures the heart of small-town life, blending humor, romance, and poignant moments.
"Savor It" is a perfect summer read, brimming with charm and Big Feelings, making it Tarah DeWitt’s best work yet. Highly recommended for fans of heartfelt and spicy romance.

The narration for this one was 🧑🍳💋. As usual, Tarah delivered another gem. Can’t wait to see what she comes out with next!

I loved this audiobook. I finished it in a day, I couldn’t stop listening. I love a good rom com and this book did not disappoint. I loved the whole hearted characters, foodie talk and multiple relationships that were being worked on. I also really loved the narrators of this audiobook, they are two of my favorite to listen to.

Having recently read Funny Feelings and falling in love with it, I was ecstatic to pick up another book by Tarah Dewitt. However, while I like her character writing and the setting of this novel, the story didn't hook me the way I was hoping it would. As I mentioned, the small town setting of this story is idyllic and dreamy, and Sage is a very sweet character, but I had a lot of issues with the pacing of this story. The pacing of Sage and Fisher's friendship and romance seemed rushed at times, and overall had an awkward timeline. Often, they were very blunt sharing their feelings and trauma with each other when I felt like they were hardly even established as friends. I did really like them as a couple once near the end of the book, but there were many moments reading this book when I couldn't tell if the romance was going to develop any more or stay in the limbo it was in. One a more positive note, I did really like the message of this book regarding career ambitions and personal happiness. As I get older, I grow weary of romances with billionaire love interests that promote idealizing wealth. Instead, I love when author's address that personal happiness should always take priority. So overall, I still love this author and this book had many elements I loved, but I feel like in it's production Savor It's marketable setting, vibes, and tropes got prioritized, when the priority should have been creating a cohesive and increasingly captivating love story.
