I am a Susan Isaacs fan, as well as a fan of her character, Judith Singer, who we first meet in Compromising Positions. I was thrilled to learn of the release of book 3 in the series. It was great to see Judith back in the throes of an investigation, when a CEO falls into a mysterious, and dies. What I wasn’t prepared for was the brevity. This is, essentially, a novella. It almost seemed a cruelty to provide such a short story to someone longing for a novel. That said, it doesn’t wander from the original style, and it’s quite enjoyable.
