While the premise has potential, the execution feels somewhat predictable.
Faith Knight’s writing is engaging and easy to follow, with a good mix of humor and heartfelt moments. The characters are likable, the romance is sweet, but the story doesn’t bring many surprises or unique elements to make it stand out.
