I love this book! Kids love dinosaurs and books about them. This book's mixture of joy, celebration, and fun come together to really appeal to a younger audience and fill them with wonder that is centered around dinosaurs. Young readers will adore the idea of Dinosaur Day, and will fall in love with dinosaurs if they haven't yet, but will love them even more if they already do. One of the best ways that this book's tone is conveyed is through the illustrations. They were so colorful and fun, which definitely increased how joyful and engaging the story was. Readers aren't bored at any time while reading this book, which is awesome! Additionally, all of the dinosaurs are cartoon-y while still being scientifically accurate. This is important to help add a little bit of educational value to the story. All of the baby dinosaurs were SO. CUTE!!! Readers will *adore* all of the baby dinosaurs, just as I did. Lastly, including a duckling in the story added an element of surprise and an unexpected event, which is really great!
Bravo!!

This was very cute and my girls loved this. As a mom to a 3 and 5 year old, this book held their attention, got some laughs, and had them interacting by pointing out things in the illustrations. We loved the premise and I like that the story was not a super quick read. The illustrations were bright, colorful, and had my littles laughing.

Thank you NetGalley, Diana Murray, and Sourcebooks Kids for allowing my family to review.

I'm such a big fan of Diana Murray's "Unicorn Day" and other titles, so I was thrilled to see this new novel about dinosaurs, especially because who doesn't love dinosaurs? Like previous books this one rhymes which is perfect for read-alouds and young readers who love hearing rhyming words. The illustrations are colorful, cute, and feature dinosaurs and people of all different shapes, sizes, and abilities! The repeated song in this to, "Let's all do the dinosaur!" is so catchy and is sure to engage readers. All in all, this book is super fun and I can't wait to add it to our library collection.

Dinosaur Day is a children's book written by Diana Murray and illustrated by Luke Flowers.

I thoroughly enjoyed this adorable book.

The illustrations are bright and colorful, and there is so much to look at and enjoy.

The words are happy and cheerful, and I could definitely see a child wanting to come back to this book again and again.

I really liked it, and it would make a great addition to any library, as well as a fun gift.

I would like to thank SOURCEBOOKS Kids for providing me with a free digital copy of this book in exchange for my review. Thank you!

This is a super fun Dinosaur book. All the dinosaurs come out to play on Dinosaur Day. There are even baby dino's that join in. Everyone has so much fund that at the end of the day they are exhausted. A fun rhyming book that might make kids want to get up and stomp around like the dino's rather than go to bed at the end of the night.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the arc.

Bright, bold and beautiful illustrations with lots of little details. The prose is easy with a nice rhyming rhythm. This is a fantastic choice for a story time book. You can easily act out different pages/phrases and really get into reading to children. I'd say this would be best for preschoolers or any child that's a fan of dinosaurs.

This was a hit for my kiddos. My 6 and 2 year olds really enjoyed it, The cadence of the story held their attention and had them wiggling to dance. They enjoyed the pictures and the movement they encouraged.

Thank you to NetGalley, Diana Murray and Sourcebooks Kids for this eARC.

This story was cute, but did not flow as well as it could have. I felt there was various potential story lines happening and it may make it difficult for children to stay engaged. The illustrations were super cute! Thank you for my arc copy!

This is a silly and engaging children's book full of dinosaurs parading around town, starting a band, baking cakes, and having fun! My 4 year old loved this book and asked for it multiple times. I enjoyed reading it, the words and rhymes flowed smoothly and my son was able to follow along with the storyline relatively well. He laughs everytime I read about the duck that hatched from a dinosaur egg.

Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Kids for an E-ARC in exchange for an honest review!

From the makers of "Unicorn Day" and "Mermaid Day," it's Dinosaur Day! Fun from start to finish, with dynamic and colorful illustrations that celebrate all the dinos. This one is sure to be a favorite for younger readers and for all your dino-fans. Upbeat, catchy with real-world activities that dinos get to partake in. The baby dinos are just about the cutest things I've seen. This book is just the right length for storytimes. Thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for the sneakpeak via the eARC.

My kids and I really enjoy this series of books! I was so excited to see that a new title was coming out in this series. We like these books because they have delightful rhymes that practically lend themselves to singing and very colorful pictures that capture my children's imaginations.

This book, and the others in the series, are the kind that you will want to pick up time and again to read, sing, and enjoy!

I would highly suggest these books as a great read aloud either at home or in the classroom!

Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book.

Dinosaur Day is such a cute story. My boys really loved the story cadence especially with the use of rhyming words. The story itself was engaging and kept their interest. We all loved that the Trex loves Lava Cake. It was such a fun whimsical addition to the story. However, the best surprise was by far the little duck. I really loved the representation present in the illustrations. Additionally, the overall style fit the playful nature of the story. I would recommend checking out this story.
