I am sorry, but I did not request this book, nor did I ready it. It is not in my genre of books. I hope that is was successful though. Sorry for the confusion

3.5/5 stars

So, I actually ended up enjoying this book more than I expected to.

I read Game and Buzz all the way back at the end of 2013/beginning of 2014 and then I just never felt like finishing the series. While I really liked Game, Buzz had lost a lot of what made the first book work for me. So, I'll confess that I read this book with a sort of "get it over with" mentality. Thrillers aren't my normal genre, and since I had only kind of enjoyed book two and read the first books over five years ago, I was expecting to basically DNF (or at least majorly skim). But somehow this book kept me turning the pages---and I found I didn't even skim all that much because I wanted to follow what was happening.

This book did a fantastic job of reminding me of everything that happened earlier in the series (why don't ALL series do this?) and then tied up all the loose ends in some spectacular ways. Was it literary genius? No. But it ended up being pretty entertaining, with a ton of twists and turns and constant revelations. The first half of the book would have only gotten three stars from me, but the second half would be an easy four. I give the book 3.5/5 stars overall.
