Over the past few years, I have enjoyed this series' main titles--I still need to read the periphery ones. I don't know if it's Murphy and Simone who coined the term, 'raunch-com' but it really is true. The books are super spicy but also so funny. After reading one page, you might be wiping tears of snorted laughter and then fanning yourself from the steamy scene on the next page. Though they are closing the door on this realm, I hope we have more to come from this pair!

I absolutely loved this series and am so sad to see it end! I've thoroughly enjoyed all the adventures in Christmas Notch. This final book focuses on Sunny and Isaac, the third member of the band INK. Isaac is still processing the grief of losing his wife, while Sunny grapples with the legacy her parents left behind for her and her brother. The book is open-door and steamy, delivering plenty of spice alongside the heartfelt emotions. A perfect conclusion to a fantastic series!

Thank you to NetGalley and Avon for an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

I loved the first one but this one was a bit too steamy/raunchy for me actually. I didn’t think this was as fun and sweet as the previous book, it was definitely a holiday romance but verged of soft core.

Loved the other two books in the series and was so excited for this. But… the magic just wasn’t there this time. I wanted to love it but it was a no from me.

OK, the thing is… this isn’t for me. And I don’t understand who they’re for. But it’s not me.

I remember now being completely lost in the previous one. The entire thing feels like a giant inside joke I don’t understand. I can’t continue.

This author duo always packs a lot of humor and spice into their books and this one was no exception! I love a good holiday romance and the Christmas Notch series is full of fun characters that are super engaging to read about. This is the 3rd book in the series and features Sunny and Isaac. It's giving grumpy/sunshine, sad boy, inclusive love vibes. The story packs some deeper content, as both characters are experiencing grief of losing loved ones and the journey that has taken them on and fear of deep connection and love. Was a 3.5 star read for me and was glad I had it to read to get me into the holiday spirit.

Thanks to NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for this eARC book in exchange for my review!

Isaac bought the mansion in Christmas Notch in the hopes of finding inspiration to write a Christmas album to meet his contractual obligations and live out the rest of his life in peaceful isolation. Instead he find's Sunny, his best friend's wife's best friend, in a terrible motel with her cat trying to write a holiday screenplay for the Hope channel and invites her to be his roommate instead. They quickly become more than roommates, but have to figure out if either is ready to trust that something serious can last.

I love this series so much, and I thought this was a great conclusion. I especially loved the way the side romance between Teddy and Steph was wrapped up.

This book is good but preeeeeettty intense. If you prefer mild/closed door romance it is not for you. Lol. It’s fairly in keeping with what I remember of the earlier two books, however, so fans of the series will be pleased. I really think I kept coming back to this series for a few reasons. The first is that the inner and outer beauty represented in the books is diverse and varies from what is seen in most novels. The second is that I want to live in Christmas Notch, with fewer visits to the strip club. Sunny is not my favorite heroine of the series (Bea) but comes close. And Issac is a whiner for a bunch of it but definitely gets a grip by the end. I also think the representation of variations in male sexuality is really unique and important. Overall, it’s corny and intense but also fun and enjoyable which takes priority in my mind. Thanks to the publisher and netgalley for the e-arc.

3.5⭐️

Having read the two prior books in this series, A Jingle Bell Mingle fell flat for me and I really missed the Christmas Notch I’ve grown accustomed to in Julie and Sierra’s writing.

While I enjoyed the overall premise, Isaac’s brooding archetype felt overdone and sloppy to Sunny’s well developed grieving daughter. These two both needed therapy but seemed reluctant to get it, instead bottling their emotions up. I wanted to feel seen in Sunny and Isaac’s grieving characters. Instead, I just felt frustrated.

The humor was great and I loved the story behind Sunny’s screenplay though.

Thank You Netgalley and Avon & Harper Voyager Publishing for the ARC of this Christmas Blessing. This is the 3rd book in the Christmas Notch Series. Isaac a widow boy band musician and Sunny an orphaned porn star/screen writer/diaper mogul. Grief shaped them but never defined them, thru their struggles they found the love they had lost due to their losses. Its a forced proximity trope when Sunny needed a place to stay to finish her screen play and he is struggling to write another album after his wife's death. He helped her find the back story of the towns Christmas miracle. I love the way Simone and Murphy write you really do fall into the story and the character building is top notch.

This book is the third in this series, and I think it might be my favorite! The story follows sad boy Issac, who is trying to find his muse in order to write music for his last album, and Sunny, who accidentally sold a story to the Hope Channel before writing the actual script. They both need something that the other can offer, so they team up to reach their goals. A Jingle Bell Mingle was a cute, fun, STEAMY Christmas romcom and exactly what I was looking for. The mystery that they were working to uncover throughout the story was intriguing, and kept me wanting to read. The romance overall was okay. I liked that they had that one-night stand history, but it felt as though that came up too often. I was wanting the characters to move forward quicker than they did, but I did like that the authors took the time to let Isaac work through his grief of his late wife and what it means having a new relationship.

Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick spicy holiday romcom. Please be sure to read content/trigger warnings first, as there are some heavier topics discussed.

I received an ARC through NetGalley in return for a. honest review.

This book was a cute Christmas story!

This is the third book in the series which I'm just learning about now, whoops. You can read it as a stand alone, but they do throw a bunch of characters at you, for the most part you can follow along but in the beginning you're like "who who who" like an owl enjoying the beautiful winter town of Christmas Notch, Vermont.

Speaking of Christmas Notch, Vermont, this is where the book takes place, a grumpy sad fuck boy named Issac, and a bubbly but also sad loves with her whole heart part time pornstar, diaper mogul Sunny.

Issac needs to write an album, Sunny needs to direct a movie, and they were roommates (with benefits).

I couldn't give this book a full 5/5 because it did feel like it was rushed, and I will buy the book because it did have an extra 50 pages added. I wanted to know more about the music and movie and less about the inner monologue of sad boy.

This is such a cute holiday read! It's funny and ironic, but still gives us that Christmas escapism we need in our lives. Spicier than the smell of gingerbread lotion, the heat took me by surprise! The giggle factor was a nice bow on top. That being said, it's great for what it is meant to be. But aspects got quite repetitive and I think it could've been shorter.

A fun and spicy read by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone. It felt a bit redundant to me, but overall still a fun read.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an eARC.

You know, this Christmas Notch series started off so well - My NSYNC loving heart was *here for* former boyband members falling for porn stars. The first one was really hot and fun. The second with a hot Joey had a trope I hated but I generally enjoyed it. This was just so so so long. It had too many storylines smushed in - we had online old lady detectives, we had a secret history to research in the area, we had a family company power play, we had an album to make, a muse to find, a proposal to plan, and a movie to shoot. I was tired. I think if you cut out 3 of those this would have worked better. I also am just not the target audience ever for two silver spoon babies having a tough life. Sorry you're rich and don't know how to make a meal? I love forever Uncle Teddy and his chapters were great and really saved this for me.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the review copy.

Thank you for the ARC copy.

This was a spicy fun holiday read. I loved the humor of the book and the characters. The series overall has been fun to read.

An absolute lovey holiday story. “A jingle bell mingle” by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone is a sexy and festive novel. I found this book to be even more enjoyable than “a merry meet cute.”

I definitely went into this book blind, expecting a cute little holiday rom-com. I did not realize (and this is my mistake) that it was part of a series about… strippers and porn stars? 😂 Off the bat I will say this was VERY open door and a bit too much spice for me, however, all of that aside (again my mistake!) it was a cute story. What I did like was the growing relationship between the 2 main characters, how they helped each other grow, how they had fun together. I loved the legend of the Christmas postman angel and how all of that tied together. This story was a little Hallmark and a little Cinemax and I imagine this is exactly the type of story Sunny was writing in her screenplay. While it worked just fine as a standalone, I’m sure I would have enjoyed it more had I read the other books in the series and known all the characters!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy!

Another delightful & sexy addition to this fun Christmas romance series! I just love how well Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone’s writing styles meld together. They truly are a match made in romcom heaven!

With each book in the series, I haven't loved it as much as the first. I liked the characters and their dynamic together. But the sex and the "were can't be together" all was over done, dragged out, and about half way got boring or tedious depending on the element.
