Do you want something that is going to make you have the feels and warms fuzzies, but also brings the heat? Well then this one is the Christmas book for you!
I seriously enjoyed this last instalment of the Christmas Notch series. Sunny is absolutely delightful, she has some hidden grief she covers with her sunny demeanour though. Which matches Isaac and his grief and I loved the journey they go on in healing and everything. There were definitely some heart breaking moments that had me tearing up, but also beautiful moments that had me do that as well.
Also let’s talk about the steamy spice goodness that is included! They had some serious chemistry, so when we got to the smexy scenes it carried over so well! They were everything you’d expect from someone who works in porn and an old boy band member!
It was such a great read and conclusion to the series!

I received this book for free for an honest review from netgalley. Thank you for the opportunity.
Sweet and thoughtful with a lot of spice thrown in it will definitely keep you warm on those winter nights.

Typical for a short story collection, some were great, others weren't my cup of tea. There's laughs, and steam. I think most readers will find something in this collection that they will enjoy. Thank you to netgalley for the arc/

I came into this expecting quick, light romcom and so was pleasantly surprised to see that it had many more layers to it. There was a lot of character discovery and growth and, while it was a fun read, I enjoyed it being a little deeper and meaningful vs the typical Hallmark movie-style book. I’m definitely a fan of this series and hope to see more similar!

I just love this series and am sad to see it come to an end. I love a good holiday read and this one didn’t disappoint, it was a fun read with some steaminess.
It followed main characters, Sunny and Isaac both learning to live after loss. Sunny has lost her parents and Isaac has lost his wife. At times the book seems heavy, but the author does a good job mixing in some humor to break it up. The friends to lovers trope and learning to let each other in while working though grief was relatable and enduring,
Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

While I typically like Julie Murphy's books, this one was just too much for me. For me to not even be 11% through the book and have one of the longest and most graphic sex scenes ever was just too much. Plus, I couldn't really get to know the characters at all without them referencing each other's bits. Not a fan of this one.

I’ve read the other books and novellas in the series so I was thrilled to receive an ARC of this book.
Jingle Bell Mingle is such a fun, spicy holiday read. If you love Hallmark movies but also love spicy romance books then Uncle Ray-Ray and the Hope Network is exactly what you need! Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone have created the perfect cast of characters that are so fun to revisit every holiday season.

Thank you to NetGalley for the chance to read this ARC for my honest review :)
This is a cute and fun holiday read for the upcoming holiday season. I will say that I had not read the other books in the series and this is book 3 so that may have been why it took me a little bit to not only get into the book, but also to fully understand what the heck was going on! I definitely think that if you have read the other books, you are going to enjoy this even more than I did, but I still liked it a lot.
This book was spicy, funny, and a quick read, but did have some heavier aspects to it.
Overall, 3.5 star read for me and I am going to read the other books in the series and reread this :)

If you’re looking for a good, cozy read during a cold night; this is your book. I absolutely loved it, highly recommend

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.
If your in the mood for a holiday read then you have come to the right place. This is the story of Sunny and Issac. She is in the entertainment industry. She's can direct movies, is an adult film star, make up artist and a new screenwriter who has a project that was bought by the Hope Channel. The girl can do just about anything. Isaac is a former boy band member. He lives in one of the town's historic mansions. He is sad, depressed and heartbroken. But man is he smoking hot. When you have a creative block I am sure that it really messes with you as any kind of artist. These two have also run into each other in an experience that neither of them has ever been able to forget. Now their paths are crossing again as they attention Bee and Nolan's wedding. These two are flirting like crazy and have another night of passion in a hotel room that had me cracking up for them. Her motel room should be condemned. It has hardly any heat, the wiring is terrible and it is straight up out of a North Pole scene in a Christmas movie. He can't let her stay in a place like that. The thing to do is invite her to stay with him in Vermont in the mansion he has hermited himself in. She is his friend at this point and he would naturally help her out thinking the mansion is so big they will never see each other. Wrong. I can't tell you all that happens in this book. But it is sweet and funny and down right smoking hot at times. This is a holiday read you do not want to miss.

I didn’t initially realize this book is the 3rd in a series so I was a tad lost initially. This book is about Sunny and Issac (the last of a boy band to get matched up). I wasn’t expected some of the spicy scenes but did enjoy the fact that this isn’t a traditional romcom. I did enjoy this book enough to want to read the earlier books in this series!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an eARC in exchange for my honest review!

Firstly thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for allowing me an advanced copy of this book.
If you like spice and you’ve read the first few books in this series, I think you would like this book a lot more than I did. I did realize it was part of a series and I hadn’t read the others but some books that doesn’t matter. This one, I felt behind and like I was missing out on things so I think it’s better to read as a series. Secondly, it said romance but I don’t really think it indicated the level of 🌶️ it was and it was pretty spicy. I don’t personally enjoy quite that much so it was a bit off putting but that’s my personal liking, nothing against the book or author.
I had a tough time connecting with these characters as they were so very much unlike me. Extremely wealthy families and children, pop stars, sex workers, etc. I would recommend this to someone who likes these types of books, they will enjoy this series.

It’s hard to believe that our time at Christmas Notch is over. This was a fun, read by the fire and sip hot cocoa read. While at times the FMC could be a bit much and I would have loved some extra development, this was a nice treat to get myself into the holiday spirit and finish the series.

Honestly, it was fine. It was what you would expect by looking at the cover. I liked being able to see the characters that you’ve come to know and love throughout the series. I thought that the female main character was very whiny at times to the point of annoying. The mailman character also just needed to get over his stuff and stop wallowing and no matter how many times people said it it took to the very end of the book for him to figure that out, which was not great. In my opinion I felt like there was a bigger problem that could’ve been used instead.

Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone have done it again with their latest holiday rom-com, delivering a quirky, heartwarming, and delightfully unconventional story in A Merry Little Meet Cute. If you loved their previous work, you’ll find plenty to enjoy here, from the festive setting of Christmas Notch to the unexpected pairing of a grumpy former boy band star and a quirky adult film actress.
Sunny Palmer and Isaac Kelly are complete opposites, but their chemistry is undeniable. Watching them work through their creative blocks while navigating the hilarious chaos of their living arrangement (complete with Sunny’s potentially demonic cat) is pure fun. The small-town charm, quirky local lore, and holiday magic add a cozy layer to this second-chance romance.
Isaac’s personal journey from reclusive, heartbroken musician to finding new inspiration was touching, and Sunny’s vivacious personality brings light to the story, though her character occasionally felt like she leaned too heavily into her "quirky" persona. Nevertheless, the witty dialogue and fun side characters helped balance out the more over-the-top moments.
While the plot followed some expected rom-com beats, the unique premise, and endearing characters made it a perfect feel-good read for the holiday season. It’s a story about healing, creativity, and finding love in the most unexpected places—and who can resist a festive romance with a lovable cat thrown into the mix?
Overall, A Merry Little Meet Cute is a fun, slightly spicy, and heartwarming read that will definitely put you in the holiday spirit!

We’re back in Christmas Notch, where former adult film star turned scriptwriter Sunny is working on a new script. Isaac Kelly, the saddest man in music due to the death of his wife, owns the mansion in town. He’s working on his first holiday album. After a friend’s wedding, Sunny and Isaac make a deal to help each other with their respective creative roadblocks.
Sunny wants to investigate the story of the WWII era “miracle mailman”, and Isaac needs a muse.
We first met these characters in books 1 & 2 of the Christmas Notch series. This book has some of my favorite tropes - friends to lovers, forced proximity, and Christmas time. I like the trajectory of their relationship, it feels very natural. I think you’ll enjoy this book as much as I did, 4 stars.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley, I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

A delightful end to a fun trilogy! This book fixes some of the issues I had with the previous two books where the hero/heroine don't have deep conversations until the end of the book. Sunny and Isaac are friends (with benefits) first and that lends to a much deeper connection. It was nice to go back to Christmas Notch with so many characters we love and spend more time in the town, not just filming a movie. A really lovely (and STEAMY) finale to this trilogy and a fabulous Christmas read.

I just finished A Jingle Bell Mingle, the third and final book in Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone's A Christmas Notch series, and it did not disappoint! While this book can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the entire series—the first two books and novellas are all fantastic.
In this installment, we follow our FMC, Sunny, who accidentally sold her screenplay idea to the Hope Channel and is now struggling with writer’s block as she attempts to bring her story to life. To gain some inspiration, she heads to Christmas Notch, a small town in Vermont, but her accommodations are less than ideal. Enter Isaac, the third member of a former boyband called INK, who’s also stuck creatively and emotionally after the passing of his wife.
When Isaac invites Sunny to stay at the historic mansion he’s recently purchased, they strike up a deal to help each other: Isaac will assist Sunny with research for her script, while Sunny will help him find a muse for his holiday album. With a past connection already brewing between them, the close proximity quickly leads to sparks flying.
This was my favorite book in the series, and I’m sad to see it come to an end. If you’re looking for a sexy holiday series this season, I absolutely recommend checking out A Christmas Notch!

Hilarious, sexy, and swoony all come to mind when thinking of this book. The author duo does a great job of balancing all the elements that make a holiday rom-com great. I appreciate the sense of humor that each of the characters brings to the story, and the overlapping that comes from the entire series. It is hard to say that this one is the best of the series, because they are all entertaining, but, it may be the best one!
