This is a cute rhyming book for the holidays. Our narrator tells of things they will do at Mimi's house, while also pointing out things along the way there.
Lovely illustrations to go along with the text. This is one that can be read again and again.

Thanks NetGalley for this ARC!

The title attracted me to this cute story about Christmas. I am a Mimi, so, of course, I had to read it. The book is rhyming, which is perfectly executed, depicting all types of places where grandparents live. In the country, the city, above the garage of the family, in the mountains, and even a river boat. It has cultural diversity and shows traditions within the culture. I like the happy and warm feelings of family shown in the illustrations, which are very sweet and welcoming. I could integrate this into a lesson for younger kids where they talk about their Mimi lives. At the end of the book, it mentions all the different names that kids use for their grandma. Personally, I like Mimi best because it is my given grandma name.
