I'm sorry but the book did not really work for me. I DNF'ed it. I wasn’t able to connect with any of the many characters in the book and I found myself putting down the book a lot because it was never really catching my attention.

Don't you just love a coming of age YA novel that doesn't patronise yet ticks all the boxes. That's what Drawn does. It's a real life coming of age story that gris the heart. Sasha's special skill makes her an ideal candidate for the CIA to use to infiltrate a terrorist group abroad. A well-written and enjoyable book, I am glad I requested this title and will be more than happy to pass the title along to my fellow library purchasers.

Unfortunately, "Drawn" did not qualify for a Marvelous Novel of the Month on my website (The Marvelous Site) and I do not post negative reviews on my site . . . only all things marvelous. I have given more detailed thoughts about the book to the publisher.in the feedback section.

This book had an intriguing premise, and what really caught my eye was the powers Sasha supposedly has. What didn't work out for me was how her powers simply looked like a background prop for the story.
Suffice to say, this book lacked proper execution. The characters were dull and the ending was so abrupt.
