Rachel is still being harried by the coven, partly because of the curse she has to break using an impossible to find Atlantean mirror, but mostly because they are petty, jealous witches.
But because Rachel, being Rachel, feels that she must do the right thing, even when it's hard, she comes up with an impossible plan to find the last mirror, in Newt's hands, in the past.
Since nothing ever goes easily for her, Elyse, head of the coven of hypocritical witches (okay, I'm so not a fan!), get her whiny butt sucked along back in time with Rachel and proceeds to get in her way at every turn. And maybe even help out a little, but only after making things more difficult for the both of them.
I missed seeing Rachel's main companions through most of this book. Jenks, Al, Ivy., Trent et al could not go on this time travel adventure with her. But there was a very interesting/cool interaction with Quen that just makes me adore that elf even more.
A very fun time travel adventure... and with no spoilers... for every one worried about Kisten's death/or not? interfering with Rachel and Trent's romance.... as always Harrison is perfect in the way she handles Rachel's love life (even when Rachel herself isn't!)
I received an e_ARC from netGalley in exchange for my honest review.

I was excited to get to read this book. I did enjoy it. I've read the whole series. But this book was a bit slower in my opinion compared to the other books in the series. And I can't wait to see where the changes that happened take the store.
If you are die hard Hollows fan, you have to read this one.

Thank you for letting me review this book. Book was well written and interesting. Would recommend to all who enjoyed author's previous books. 10/10.
