This is a really cute series however this was my least favorite in the series. I think I wasn't in the headspace for a witchy read tied to the holidays (personal preference) and the book seemed to jump into the plot/relationship without a lot of buildup. For a stand alone book in a series I would have enjoyed more of a slow build in the first half of the book. The banter and the messages/emails/texts were cute and my favorite part!

I love this whole series so this was a fun way to end it. It was a great between read from Halloween and Christmas. The broodiness of the MMC was delightful and the time traveling element was fun!

The Wedding Witch was one of my most anticipated books of the year. It’s the 3rd book in the Penhallow series. This book follows the grumpy brother Bowen and his associate Tamsyn who procures magical items for him. The story was told from both points of view and was a fun adventure. It would be perfect for any fan of Doctor Who holiday specials. It’s full of time travel, one bed situations and the magic of it all is so fun, you can’t help but be entertained.

Mary Jane Wells was an excellent narrator giving Bowen and Tamsyn life. She got Bowen’s grumpiness with the accent to perfection and my American brain appreciated the reprieve to Tamsyn’s American accent. I needed to slow down the speed I listened to when they had the Scottish accent. It’s the same for that accent and me at all times, I just have a harder time understanding it.

Thank you for the ARC, this is my honest review of the book.

Book three in The Ex Hex series and it took me by surprise! Time travel, mysterious magical objects, weddings gone awry...magical artifact finder Tamsyn Bligh and loner witch Bowen Penhallow have their work cut out for them. After working together for the past year, Tamsyn and Bowen have secretly fallen for each other over their digital communications. After a series of coincidences has them both attending the same wedding over Yule, they find themselves thrust into a mystery and magical dilemma that could lead to them disappearing if they don't solve it in time. I found this one sweet, lightly suspenseful, and a little spicy! I recommend it, especially for those who have read the rest of the books in the series or enjoy a fun paranormal romance. Thank you to Avon Books for the advanced reading copy, receipt of which did not impact my review.

This was a very cute, fun, wintery paranormal romance. I admit, I didn’t read the previous books in this series, but was easily able to slip into this world, especially because it takes a timey-wimey twist.

Bowen is a broody loner who is determined to solve a magical mystery for his friend Declan. He is, of course, not telling anyone his true intentions here, so he tries to go through a magical acquirer of things to further his research. Tamsyn is said “acquirer” and he has an adorably awkward meeting with her that ends with a kiss and her accepting his business proposition. Through ghostly and ramen intervention, both these lonely friends end up together on an estate for a wedding that turns sour when yet another ghost interferes.

When the bride has a major meltdown, Tamsyn and Bowen somehow end up back in time and trapped in (gasp) a room with only one bed! This was truly fun and romantic, and it even had some good mystery that shocked me at the end. There’s smutty goodness and a really fun time all wrapped into this romance. I’d recommend this even if you haven’t read the others in the series (like me). It gave good holiday vibes, too!

This book of Sterling's has more magic feel than her previous. I felt like this book was heavier on magic/time travel than her previous books and not as heavy on plot. I didn't love the first half of the book, but came to enjoy the characters and plot the second half of the book.

I'm glad I saved this one for December since it felt more like a Christmas witchy read than October bookish vibes. I really enjoy this whole series. I'm easily swept up in Sterling's storytelling and settings she creates. She's really good at banter with her characters, which is important for me to stay entertained when reading a romcom type novel. I also love a good time travel and mystery elements story, so that was a nice twist. I will be honest and say that the first two were a little better to me, but that doesn't take away from it being an overall good series that I highly recommend if this is your type of reading.

Thank you to Avon Harper Voyager and Netgalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review. And thank you to Erin Sterling for putting out books that make me happy every year.

I love this author's writing so much. I have read several of her other books, and this one was possible one of my favorites. It was cute and fun with some spice. I think the characters of the women that were written about were so well done. I highly recommend this book. I can't wait to see what comes next.

Thank you Net Galley ARC

. This was very fun, and maybe my favorite of the series so far. I enjoyed the strong ladies playing leading, powerful roles. The romance was swoon-worthy.

For me, this one was just okay. I felt like the plot was just kind of all over the place in the beginning and middle and then towards the end everything did end up coming together with a really nice ending, but it was rushed to get there. The beginning focused a lot on getting the ancient artifacts and the reasoning behind why that was being done was rushed when it came to the explanation. It wasn't a bad read by any means, just not the best.

The final installment in the Ex Hex Series, The Wedding Witch focuses on Bowen and Tamsyn. Tamsyn helps Bowen retrieve items he needs to for his spells, all while trying to avoid the spells of love fluttering inside her!

Thanks to Avon and Netgalley for this advanced copy!

This has been such a fun series and I really liked this addition to it. Bowen is such a grumpy grump and Tamysn is such sunshine and I loved how their relationship played out over email so that the second they were in-person together they could hit the ground running on both the action and their feelings. Did we need time travel in the middle of this book? I don't know, but it was a fun way to create forced proximity and add some drama so sure, go with it.

I think this is the end of the series, which is sad, but I'll read more from Sterling in a heartbeat. Her characters are fun and flirty and I appreciate her world building.

I an totally captivated by Penhallow and the brothers. I loved the haunted house aspect of this book. This book was entertaining, magical, full of time travel and witchy goodness. I allways look forward to this series and hope it continues

Thank you @netgalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I was so excited to get this ARC and return to the magical Graves Glen world.

I LOVED the Ex Hex, so so much. The Kiss Curse came next and it was good, but still left much to be desired. Unfortunately, I did not like this one. The story was so rushed, the insta love threw me off and I felt nothing for the characters. The premise was really good though, it just was not executed well. This makes me very sad to report.

A charming mix of magic and holiday romance. I enjoyed the holiday theme of this story set in Graves Glen and the play on Welsh folklore. Overall it was an endearing story with fun characters and an engaging plot. The pacing was unbalanced at times and parts would have benefitted from being more developed.

Such a fun and cute holiday read from a cozy, witchy series!
I love this world that Erin has created and Bowen and Tamsyn's story was such a great way to wrap up the Graves Glenn series. I loved getting to see Tamsyn's character again and how she fit so perfectly with Bowen and his mountain-manness. The mystery and the time travel elements were a huge driving force of the story although the romance did shift into somewhat of a drag. They felt like that couple that can't keep their hands off each other in the worst setting (which actually happens a lot in the book now that I think about it).
In all, I love this series and I loved getting to be in Wales and 1957 for this one!

This book serves as a good way to step from Halloween to Christmas. While it is set at Christmas time, there weren’t too many Christmassy elements, but the witches serve as a natural Halloween element so I decided to read it right at the end of November.

These are exactly what they look & sound like - cheesy, quick romantic comedies. This is a part of the broader Ex Hex series & I was sadly not as entertained by this one. If I had to rank it, it is probably the least favorite of the series. It has the same key plot points as the previous two but was just missing the umph for me this time. (I should caveat I don’t expect anything crazy with these types of books so my scale probably shifts down I rarely give a 4 so that is sortve the new 5 in this case lol) But since I’ve already invested two books, I felt like I had to finish it out with this third!

This is the third book in the Graves Glen series. Each book is about a different couple, but I still recommend you start at the beginning since the previous characters are recurring and some of the story follows a bit of an arc. I’ve enjoyed all three books although I do have a favorite (The Kiss Curse). This was a fun and entertaining installment that follows loner Bowen Penhallow and the non-magic Tamsyn Bligh, procurer of magical items, who also has a history with Bowen’s siblings and their partners from a previous story.

Bowen hires Tamsyn exclusively to find items for his study and experiments with ancient magic. He has a bit of a history with experiments that have gone wrong in the past and a best friend in Colin who is sort of a ghost because of their joint curiosity about ancient magic. The late Colin’s fiancé is getting married again and he requested Bowen attend the wedding festivities and make sure that she is okay. Unbeknownst to Bowen, Tamsyn has taken what she hopes is one last moonlighting job to procure an item that will enable her to retire and turns up to Tywyll House, the setting for the same witchy wedding.

This story is told in third person and follows the couple as they interact over a course of time leading up to their attending of the wedding where they end up pretending to be a couple. I love the fake relationship trope and the banter between these two who already knew each other made this one entertaining. The other wedding attendees were eccentric and fun adding more chaos to the story with family drama and even time travel to the 1950s where you meet even more eccentric relatives and chaos. I love a time travel trope too! Bowen and Tamsyn must figure out what they need to do to get back to their own time.

Recommended for lovers of fake relationships, time travel, weddings, and holiday romance. This one has it all!

Thank you to Netgalley and Avon Books for a copy provided for an honest review.

While I really enjoyed the other books in this series, this one just didn't land for me. It took a bit for everything to get going. The time travel was a fun element and did make the book standout from the previous stories.
