The Wedding Witch was an adorable small town, slightly spooky romance and my favorite book in the Ex Hex series! It follows the third Penhallow brother and his love interest, taking us to a new location (mostly) away from Graves Glen for a refreshing change of pace. The couple had such good chemistry, the Welsh village haunted mansion vibes were 10/10, and all the side characters were a great addition to the story.

Read this if you want a quick book to finish up October, if Charmed-meets-Gilmore Girls sounds like your vibe, or if you love time travel and/or one bed tropes. It's the perfect vibe for spooky season, but would be a quick, cute read any time of year.

This was my first Erin Sterling novel, but why start at book #3? Well at first, I was unaware that it was a series when I requested through NetGalley, so it made me a little nervous to not enjoy Bowen’s story. However, I quickly changed my mind after reading the second chapter in the book.

I am very thankful that Bowen Penhallow had to attending the wedding at the request of his best friend. Or else there would be no adventure of falling in love and figure out a way to get back to the present time without damaging the past. I will definitely need to go back and read the rest of the Ex Hex series to get more of Bowen.

The is the third book in a favorite series of mine. I loved the first two books and this one did not disappoint. This had the perfect combination of fall and winter coziness. The main relationship in this book was purely insta love which I normally do not like, but it was done well. I love the characters in this series so much that the insta love didn’t bother me. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I have been waiting for this brother's story since Book 1 and I am so happy! Wonderful sweet town reminiscent of Stars Hollow with humor and spice!

I really enjoyed "The Wedding Witch" by Erin Sterling. I did not realize it was the third book in a series when I started it and was.a bit nervous, but it definitely worked as a standalone (though I will likely go back and read the first two books of the series). MMC Bowen Penhallow has spent years trying to figure out how to rescue his bestie from a spell gone wrong. FMC Tamsyn Bligh is a non-witch who somehow makes her living as. a finder of magical, and often dangerous, items. She has been working exclusively for Bowen for a year and fantasizing about him for nearly as long. The pair end up at a magical wedding - that neither of them was actually invited to - and then somehow end up going back in time to 1957. Lust and love accompany the duo on their quest to get back to their present time.

Bowen and Tamsyn are just fun, both separate and together. They have excellent banter despite having rather different personalities and they have palpable chemistry. There are plot holes galore (how does Tamsyn know about magic to begin with? How do certain things change at the end yet have no impact on Bowen or Tamsyn or anyone else's lives overall?) but the book overall is so fun that even this couldn't ruin it for me.

What a great conclusion to this series! I was almost hesitant to read this one now because I wasn’t sure if it had fall or Christmas vibes. It was actually a great combination of both!

In the third book we get the story of the last Penhallow brother, Bowen. He employs the help of Tamsyn, a talented magical artifact finder, to find what he needs to undo a spell that will bring his friend Declan back. An unexpected spell sends the two time traveling back to the wedding of the Bowen’s grandparents in 1957. They must figure out why they were sent back to that time and how to get back before their time runs out.

I really enjoyed this read. I found both of our main characters to be likable and I enjoyed getting Bowen’s backstory and seeing his character come to life. He’s portrayed as such a hermit in the other two books and it was fun reading about his friendship with Declan and see him explore a romance with Tamsyn. This book was a perfect blend of friends, romance, time travel, and witchy powers. Only critique I have is that I thought some things were wrapped up a little too neatly at the end with little explanation. Overall, this series was a perfect cozy fall read.

I’ve enjoyed the other books in this series but this one in particular felt “too” paranormal for me and that’s not my preferred genre. All the witch jargon took me out of the story and I felt I was skimming a good portion of this. Not sure I’d read if there was another in this series.

I'd say this is my least favorite of the Ex Hex trilogy. Not for the lack of chemistry, and not for the plot. I actually really liked the time travel aspect of this, and I think Bowen and Tamsyn make a great couple that was really fun to read. I think this was just a tad too insta-love for me, even though like a year passes between first meeting and the real start of their tryst. I wish more of that had been on page!

THE WEDDING WITCH by Erin Sterling was released last week. I finished it two weeks ago but finally getting around to reviews. This is third in the series but they are each separate stories so could be read as a stand alone if you want. It is fun to know the side characters though. This one follows the last Penhallow brother, Bowen, who happens to be my favorite of the brothers. He hires Tamsyn to help find powerful and sometimes dangerous magical artifacts. A spell done at a witchy wedding throws them back into 1957 and they must try to find out why they’re there and find their way home. This third book in the series was the best of the three in my opinion. It was quick, fun, and full of ghosts, time travel, romance, and witches. Honestly a great read for fall or Christmas season.

I love The Ex Hex series. The Wedding Witch ties a nice little bow on our favorite little witches! It was probably my favorite of the three though it is difficult to choose. The Wedding Witch is another comfy, cozy book to dive into this month, but it would also be a great book to save for the December holiday season. The story takes place around Yule (witchy Christmas). The banter between the two characters was so much fun! The time travel was a treat. And one bed? Yes, please! Pick this one up today for a fun magical adventure!!

Tamsyn Bligh is a procurer of mystical objects. Bowen Penhallow is in need of said mystical objects. As an occasional customer of Tamsyn's, Bowen has put her on retainer in order to be her only customer. But what if there was a way out of all of this for Tamsyn? What if she could get out of this trade and finally put the moves on Bowen? When a job comes through with a million-dollar payday, Tamsyn can't turn it down. When Tamsyn runs into Bowen at a haunted house, she has to come clean about the job that she took. Bowen isn't too upset by the situation seeing as the house is currently going a little haywire. When a spell transports Bowen and Tamsyn back to the 1950s, they have to work together to figure out how to get back to the future without irreparably damaging the past.

This is a perfect September or October read with all the right elements - witches, love story, cozy setting.

I loved this book. I have read the others in the series and enjoyed those as well! I knew this book wouldn’t disappoint. I liked that I knew all the characters from the other books but it was about Bowen and Tamsyn. Their story was cute and I loved reading about it!

I picked up the Wedding Witch having totally forgotten what happened in the last two books of this series and that was totally okay. I also flew through this one in a single evening. Bowen is our male main character and he is a grumpy witch tasked with attending a wedding at the request of his best friend who’s a ghost. Tamsyn, is our female main character who works for Bowen finding rare artifacts for his studies. She ends up attending the wedding on a different quest putting sunshine into grumpy’s path and all the forced proximity tropes abound. I really enjoyed this for the banter and the insta love, even if there were some rather convenient plot points that resolved itself. I was here for the vibes and grinned the whole way through.

I absolutely love this series and The Wedding Witch is just as fantastic as the first two! Bowen and Tamsyn are such a fun couple with fantastic chemistry and excellent banter. The time travel element is great, and it is a perfect read for this time of year (for both Halloween and Christmas!)

This was such a fun time-traveling romance! While the first two in the series focus more on fall and Halloween vibes, The Wedding Witch is all Christmas/Yule. I liked the change but did find myself missing the magic of Graves Glen. I loved Bowen - he was so down bad for Tamsyn. I loved how completely feral he was for that woman. I do wish we had gotten a little more build up of their relationship - maybe a few more interactions prior to the wedding would have really sold the romance. I still thought they had amazing chemistry though. I also wish we had gotten a bit more explanation with the ending instead of just *magic*

Overall, I really enjoyed this book!

This was such a fun time! The perfect fall/winter/holiday season read. I have enjoyed all 3 books in this series but Bowen may be my new favorite! I just love him so much! I felt like the ending was a bit rushed and left much unexplained but overall I had a great time reading this!

This was a cozy read, but sadly it fell short for me! I think there was way too much background world-building. The plot was supposed to be about Bowen and Tamsyn traveling back in time to fix a wrong, but I was 18 chapters in and felt like nothing had really happened yet to further that plot…. Then the eventual explanation for their travels felt rushed and incomplete. I will say this book had a healthy amount of spice!

Witches, ghosts, time travel, Yule parties, and parent trapping grandparents in their youth? Count me in.

This book is the perfect addition to The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse. Bowen is such a fun MMC and I absolutely love Tamsyn—she is my spirit animal.

I think my ideal reading order for this series is as follows: The Ex Hex during late October, The Kiss Curse in November, and The Wedding Witch right after Thanksgiving. It’s a series for the holiday season!

My only complaint? I wish we had gotten more Sir Purrcival sightings (iykyk).

I have read Erin Sterlings books since The Ex hex and I have loved every single one of them! This book is just another cozy witchy read. If you love christmas and halloween this book is for you. It is a magical Christmas read to put me in the witchy spirit! Overall, I adore this series! This book is an absolutely entertaining, magical, high-chemistry, witchy time travel experience that I highly recommend. I’m eagerly looking forward to reading more books in the series, whenever the author is ready to take us on another journey into Graves Glen.

This was really cute and I have enjoyed this little series! I loved the Christmas vibes mixed in with all the witchy-ness! I also LOVE the time travel trope so much!! The spice was HOT HOT HOT and I wanted MORE!!! This was such a fun read with great banter, funny and relatable characters!
