I loved this conclusion to the cozy witchy series from Erin Sterling! It was such a slow burn but the tension between Bowen and Tamsyn were well-worth it! I enjoyed this one and as always, I love seeing the callback to the other two couples from this companion series. I am so happy!

Coming into this book, I had some expectations. While I didn’t quite like the plot of The Ex Hex (I did enjoy the romance!) but I thoroughly enjoyed The Kiss Curse overall. So I didn’t have high expectations but I did have expectations.
I want to first say that I appreciate the atmospheric writing of The Wedding Witch, which I think is a strength of the author’s writing. Unfortunately I found it confused what the plot was going for. It was a combination of a fall and Christmas book, which I found to be lacking in both aspects. I enjoyed the romance overall, but I wished it focused much more on it. The Wedding Witch has a focus of both plot and romance but I do think it was more plot-heavy.
Overall while I did enjoy The Wedding Witch, I was expecting a bit more depth.

Thank you to NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for providing this electronic advanced copy for review!
I loved the first two books in this series, ‘The Ex Hex’ and ‘The Kiss Curse', and I was excited to return to these characters. Just as the first two books, this third installment was a funny, charming, and magical read.
This book focuses on the third Penhallow witch brother, Bowen, and Tamsyn Blight, the woman he hires to be his magical object dealer. When a spell goes wrong at a wedding they are both attending in the Welsh countryside, Bowen and Tamsyn are sent 50 years into the past and must figure out how to fix the spell and return to the present.
I thought the main characters had great banter and I enjoyed the time travel plot in this one. Though I didn’t enjoy this installment as much as the first two, it was still a fun, cozy read.
(Honestly, my biggest complaint - not enough Sir Purrcival! I missed that silly talking cat.)

This was a fun way to get into the Fall/Holiday spirit. This has magical elements and a bit of Christmas sprinkled in. I enjoyed the dual POVs, even while written in third person. I enjoyed the Scottish touch and could easily visualize the castle and story when traveling back in time.
This has a few spicy scenes but can be skipped and not miss anything important. I enjoyed the time travel element and the growth of the MC’s as individuals and a couple. I really liked Emerald and the grand parents. The twist has a bit easy to guess, but this is a cute easy read and overall really enjoyed it!
This is the third in a series and I was not lost only reading the first one. This is an interconnected series and I really enjoyed all the characters, especially the talking cat 🐈⬛ and the Jones girls. I’m interested to go back and read the second in this series.

Why? Well, it takes place during December, and they have something important to do by the 24th. They celebrate Yule, which is like witchy Christmas, so this is definitely a perfect read for the holidays.
I won’t lie, I’m rounding up because the last 25% had me reading so FAST and the spice scenes were delicious! But, the book was super confusing at first—the world-building was fine, but the intro to the plot and where it was going? I was like, what the heck is happening? You get a lot of loose threads that, yes it's all tied up at the end but super rapid fire.. which is not my style if im honest.
Once you grasp what’s going on, though, it picks up and by that time you'll want to stick around to see what happens at the end!

I feel like I've been waiting so long for this one, and it absolutely did NOT disappoint. I loved the time travel aspect, I loved Bowen SO SO SO much, and I adored the relationship between him and Tamsyn, and Tamsyn was so freaking funny. This book was adorably charming and the perfect cozy fall/winter read.

3.7/5 👻
I've enjoyed this interconnected series of witchiness a bunch. This time we leave Graves Glen to go to Wales and follow the final Penhallow brother - a bearded mountain man who doesn't really interact or talk much with anyone. Until he meets Tamsyn - a magical artifact hunter for hire. For reasons, they end up going back in time to 1957 and have to fix whatever thing magic sent them back to fix and make their way back to the present. Also they need to figure out all these warm feelings they have for each other. Do not think too hard on the magical whys and hows - this book is real light on making the magic make sense - but it does have an only one bed scene that I adored. All the only one bed books for me please.
Throw this book in for your spooky season ready OR your winter holiday reading (it centers around Yule, so it really could cover whichever type of reading you want).
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the arc in exchange for an honest review. The Wedding Witch is out now.

This is the third book in the Ex Hex series and it was as fun as the other two! I love these books for a rom-com, spooky, cozy feel in October.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and Erin Sterling for an eARC of this book!

This was a quick, delightful romance that put me in the holiday spirit despite it still being spooky season. All three Ex Hex books have been charming and fun and The Wedding Witch is no exception. It was a quick read, almost felt a bit like a novella. We catch Tamsyn and Bowen in the middle of their working relationship that has quickly become more of a friendship although there are clearly feelings at stake. Most of the book takes place with them being thrown back in time and having to do some timey-wimey shenanigans to get back to the present. It's very cute, sweet and I honestly didn't know how they would solve the problem so that's always a fun place to be as a reader.
The relationship between Tamsyn and Bowen really worked for me and some of their hot scenes were extremely...hot. I only wish maybe I could have seen them fall in love a bit more even if that's not really the book we got. The mystery aspect was fun and I loved how zippy it was. A really cute book that will get you through the spooky season to holiday season limbo.

If you’ve read The Ex Hex and the Kiss Curse, you already know Bowen and Tamsyn. And while I don’t believe it’s a requirement to have read books 1 and 2 it’s very very strongly recommended. Bowen and Tamsyn are at a wedding in Wales when they are transported back in time to 1957. When I first saw this was book 3’s pairing, I was a little skeptical. But I have been proven wrong. This romance and banter was delightful.
So, my nits are it was a tad bit insta-lovey for me. But I still think the banter between the characters made it enjoyable, I felt like we skipped a step or two sometimes. And I felt the main drama was wrapped up a bit too easily.
But overall, this is a quick read with some cute romance. And if you liked the first two books, you’ll enjoy this one!
Thank you to NetGalley for the e-ARC.

this book has everything spooky and christmas a girl could ever want. boy falls first? boy falls harder? please!!!! big mountain welsh man melting for his woman? a need not a want. just enough twist and turns with spice to make a perfect book.

I was so excited to read this latest installment by Erin Sterling. However, I was a little let down. Everything felt forced, there was zero chemistry between the FMC and MMC, it was very insta-love and I felt like I had more questions than answers at the end of the book. I was hoping for something light, fun, and a little magical, but I just got a dud.

Erin Sterling is back with her third book on her series. Like her other two this book was a delight to read. The characters of Bowen and Tamsyn were very well written and their chemistry jumped off the pages. I loved the connections to the last two books and how it tied the characters together. The story of the search for the magical artifact and its importance was also well done.
Thank you to Netgalley and to the publishers for allowing me to res this advanced copy.

I think this is my favorite of the series. There’s just something about Bowen and Tamsyn, a haunted house, a wedding, Yule, some time travel and a little witchy magic.
Special thanks to Avon for the ARC.

I was really looking forward to seeing how this series would wrap up, but I didn’t enjoy this final book as much as the first two. For starters, the tone felt more Christmas-y than Halloween, and I didn’t feel the same level of detail or care in the story. The pacing between the main characters also felt a bit jarring. While I liked the banter and the spice scenes, the overall storyline didn’t grab me, and I wasn’t as invested in what the characters were trying to achieve. I also missed seeing more of the other brothers and their partners. That said, just because this one wasn’t my favorite doesn’t mean others won’t love it, so I’d still recommend checking it out!

I have adored every book in this series, and "The Wedding Witch" is no exception. This is definitely a Christmas book, not a Halloween book like the others (which is made clear by both the cover and the description, no surprises there), but that didn't keep me from enjoying it.
Admittedly, Bowen was the sibling I was least interested in, we know very little about him going into this book, but I really loved getting to learn more about him. I also loved Tamsyn and getting to learn more about her character and background after meeting her briefly in the first few books.
Since readers had so little information about Bowen going into his book, I felt like there was a lot of catch up that had to be done. I wish a little more time was spent in this book or previous books setting up his backstory (which drives the entire plot of the book), rather than dropping not to subtle hints until his past is finally explained. I also thought that the primary problem that motivated him was resolved a bit quickly given that it was his entire personality for most of the book. However, I can't say that I came to this book for the intricacies of the plot, so I can't really complain.
Overall, this was a ton of fun. I don't know if this is intended to be the conclusion of this series, but I certainly wouldn't complain about more books set in this world.

Thank you NetGalley and Avon for the eARC. All opinions are my own.

This was such a sweet addition to this series. Love the grumpy sunshine trope and these two were also opposites attract. Bowen hires Tamsyn to help him find artifacts since she's very good at procuring them. I love their banter through emails and texts. She is relentless with the teasing and he's pretty stoic. They both have attraction they haven’t acted on, cause work colleagues, until they end up at the same wedding.
I loved the mystery of going back in time and their romance progressing since they were playing a couple. The insight into his own parents as he got to watch his grandparents wedding day and try to help fix it. So much fun, great banter and chemistry! So fun!

This is what a holiday book should be, let me tell you. I'm So glad that Bowan got his story and we got to revisit the Pennhallows again.

4.5 stars! I love this series so much, and this book was
no different. The easy banter and chemistry between Bowen and Tamsyn were incredible. Loved all the characters and that plot twist was awesome. Really great!

This book had a bit of a slow start but it ramped up in the end. The Christmas season is mentioned and felt but ai missed the fall setting and cozy village setting. I enjoyed the conclusion of this series but I did feel like it was the weakest of the three. The couple is cute and sweet but if feels very fast from we can't be together to I love you everything tied up with a big red bow. I would have liked the ending to be a little more explained.
