The Wedding Witch follows the third Penhallow brother, Bowen, as he goes to a wedding with a friend and learns that his employee, Tamsyn, is there. The employee with whom he is completely enamored. It turns out she is there on a job for someone else, which is against their arrangement. It's also against Tamsyn's rules to date someone she works with, but when someone is as hot as Bowen is, there are only so many promises you can keep.
Like the other Graves Glen, this book is sexy and witchy and perfect for this time of year. Unlike the others, it is also about the Yule, so will be perfect through the holidays as well! This was fun and enjoyable; I would definitely recommend!

Most people who enjoyed the first two books in this series will likely enjoy The Wedding Witch - it was fast-paced and easy to read like the others in the series. I struggled with the plot a bit and would've preferred if this was a Halloween rather than Christmas/Yule book. I would have appreciated more time spent with the two main characters developing their feelings for each other, but I did like both characters.

The third in the Graves Glen series (but could be read out of order, honestly), this features middle brother, Bowen, and the woman he hired to hunt magical artifacts for him, Tamsyn. They attend the wedding weekend of Bowen's late-best friend's former fiance, at a house in Wales that's clearly haunted (and to a bride who probably would prefer not marrying the current fiance).... and they are transported back to 1957 to the wedding of Bowenx's. grandparents who may be calling their nuptials off. Bowen and Tamsyn need to figure out how to get back to their present - is it seeing them married? Is it stealing a brooch? - but in the meantime they figure none of the rules of dating a coworker apply.
This is surface level fun, like everything in the series has been. I really enjoy it while reading it, but it's not something that digs deep into your memory afterwards.

Number 3 in The Ex Hex series, Wedding Witch was a cute mixture of lighthearted romance and holiday (Halloween / Yule / Christmas) coziness. The plot drove most of the story, adding in time travel and the search for magical objects. The romance in the story between the two MC’s could have gone deeper for me, but it was still a fun read for the season! A cute addition to the already fun series, for sure 👏🏼 thanks to Netgalley and Avon for the copy!

The latest installment in the Ex Hex series is a delight! Bowen, the last Penhallow brother to find love, is a bit of a recluse, a grumpy magic historian who rarely leaves his Welsh mountaintop. Tamsyn is an American who procures magical artifacts for the right price. Hijinks ensue but they find the only way forward is by helping each other. Sparks fly, and not just the magical ones! Just the right amount of steam. Perfect for Halloween and Yule!

I couldn't wait to read Bowen's story as as I loved "The Ex Hex" and "The Kiss Curse"! While overall, I enjoyed this book - it is definitely a shift from the previous two. I was confused if this was a fall/spooky season romance or a Christmas novel because there was a mix of both. I like how the original took place in the fall setting.
With that said this, book is about the last Penhallown brother, Bowen, and Tamsyn. Tamsyn works for Bowen, and she stumbles upon a situation far beyond her control that requires Bowen's help. Through their search of an artifact, they end up on a time traveling adventure which requires them to rectifying past mistakes to return to their time.
I love grumpy/sunshine and boss/employee tropes, but it just didn't fully work for me in The Wedding Witch. Personally, I felt there romance was lacking and they jumped into a relationship so quickly. While there was good banter between the two, I felt the build up to their romance wasn't as strong as the previous two books. However, I did like the spiciness between Bowen and Tamsyn.
While the romance in this installment felt somewhat underdeveloped, transitioning abruptly from zero to a full-blown relationship without sufficient build-up, the witty banter between the protagonists remained a highlight. "The Love Spell" also boasts a spicier tone compared to its predecessors. Overall, while I found the first two books more satisfying, this entry still provides a fun, fast-paced read. The time-travel concept, though potentially clichéd, is executed with a degree of originality.
Thanks to NetGalley for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed reading the first two books, "The Ex Hex" and “The Kiss Curse.” Erin Sterling has a captivating way in writing witch stories that are comfy and perfect reads for the fall season. “The Wedding Witch” was very cute and I am glad we had a book based on Bowen Penhallow. This story follows Bowen Penhallow and Tamsyn, who was featured I believe in book one. Bowen is one of the Penhallow witches and Tamsyn is non witch. Bowen hires Tamsyn to find special artifacts that contain magic. Tamsyn is very good at her job but then decides to take another job and it ends to out to be a complete disaster. Bowen and Tamsyn team up together and of course end in a romance. It was adorable how both had feelings for eachother and the angst was really there. of course we had a force proximity and I loved everything about it. I also loved how we were able to read about our first two Penhallow bothers. Thank you so much NetGalley and publisher for giving me this amazing opportunity. Of course, I bought a physical copy.

Witch & human
One bed
She falls, he falls harder
“It sucks,” she said. “Being virtuous. Having . . . a code or whatever. Rules. Especially when you’re over there, looking like that—not that I can see you, but I see you with my eyes closed every night anyway.”
Bowen is a recluse artifact collector who happens to be a witch. He wants all the rare items he can get his hands on. He’s been working with a company for the last year and decides he needs to meet one of them in person to hire them full time only to collect for him.
Tamsyn is an artifact dealer but she’s human. She was briefly in the previous book during a slight disaster that left Bowens brother disliking her for being careless. She’s since been on the straight & narrow. She shows up for a meeting with Bowen but before she agrees to his terms on the way out of the pub they walk right under a mistletoe. Gotta kiss the boss before he’s the boss. 😍
They spend the next year working & not seek h eachother but sending a few flirty texts back and forth. They make plans to meet again on Christmas Eve at the same pub as the year before. During Yule with his family, Bowen, is made to wear a sweater and takes a selfie (that gets him questioned on who it’s going to) to send to Tamsyn. She of course loves it & the sweater. He is wishing she didn’t say she wouldn’t date someone she was working with & she is thinking of taking a new job that would be her 1 mil when she said she’d only work for him.
They both end up canceling the meet up for reasons that are the same but they don’t know it yet. Bowens ghost friend Declan wants him to attend his exs wedding because he can’t as a ghost & Tamsyn is attending in a fake persona for the job.
Of course they immediately run into each other. Of course the house is haunted. But the woman getting married freaks out and thinks that her ex that died is the one haunting them. She ends up casting a spell and Tamsyn & Bowen get sent back in time to when his grandparents are supposed to be getting married.
As the wedding has been called off for the moment, they are now housed with everyone else and given a room to share. With only one bed and oh do they take advantage of the one bed.
They eventually fix all that needs fixed and end up back at home. It was such a fun book & tbh I think the only thing is that we needed a little more at the end about Carys & Declan. That felt too resolved too fast! But I enjoyed this book a lot! Easy read, cute and slightly steamy!

The Wedding Witch is the third book in the Ex Hex series, and one that does not disappoint. The previous two were cozy fall books that took place in the small Georgian town of Graves Glen. However, this story follows the third Penhallow brother, Bowen, on his quest to save his friend--and finds help (and love) with Tamsyn, a woman he employed to help him discover magical items. They are both thrust into a haunted mystery--and through time.
This book was definitely my favorite in the series thus far, and I love that it takes place in Wales, and over Yule (Christmas). Definitely a cute and cozy holiday read! A solid 4 stars.

The writing in this books is great. I always find myself immediately being drawn into the story by this author.
As for as the romance, this was not my favorite because it was very insta love. I do not mind insta lust where a relationship then builds. However, in this book the characters were simply immediately into each other. It took away from the romance because there really did not seem to be any development.
As far as the plot goes, I was very intrigued with the time travel aspect, but I was very disappointed at the end. There is so much build up about why and how the time travel occurs, but we are not given the answers at the end.

The Wedding Witch follows a morally grey human from a previous book and the third Penhallow brother. I was hesitant going into this book, as I rated the first two books 3 stars, but I am SO glad I continued the series. I loved both of the main characters and most of the secondary characters. The spicy scenes were incredible, and I loved the change in setting. The narrator really brought the characters to life, and I am hoping she will be the narrator for future books. Word on the street is Book 4 will follow one of the characters we meet in the past, and I cannot wait.
I received an ARC from Avon and Harper Voyager | Avon via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I purchased the audiobook after publication.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (3.75)
I absolutely loved The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse so I was so excited to receive an ARC for the 3rd in the series! I just adore Erin Sterling’s writing style, it always leaves me giggling and makes reading her books so fun. This one especially had a fun and cozy holiday vibe that was fun to explore. The pace for the romance was a little fast in my opinion, but I still enjoyed seeing the relationship between Tamsyn and Bowen unfold. I also absolutely loved how it tied into the other books and watching the characters all interact. Overall this was an entertaining, enjoyable, and quick read! If you’ve read the other Ex Hex books you don’t want to miss this one
Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for sending me a free copy in exchange for an honest review!

Thank you Avon and NetGalley for the eARC of The Wedding Witch! All opinions in this review are my own.
I love the Graves Glen series so I was looking forward to Bowen's book! This Christmas romance was so much fun to read! I love the time travel and Parent Trap-esque plot! Also, the banter between Bowen and Tamsyn is funny, especially their digital communication in the opening chapter. My only complaint is that I wish it had been longer!
Overall, this is a great magical/witchy fall series that continues into Christmas!

Very cute and fun just like the other two books in the trilogy!! I did enjoy the other books more than this one though. I felt like the romance in this book was done off the page. We didn’t get to see the two MCs fall for each other, it was mainly via texts/emails that we saw within the first few pages. Because of that it felt a bit insta-lovey which I’m not a huge fan of.
I did think the plot was really cute and liked how time travel was interwoven into the book. It was also fun to have the book take place during Yule instead of Halloween for a change but still with the witchy/spooky elements.
I’m still not really sure how the plot wrapped up? It seemed like everything was resolved very easily with not much work and wasn’t really fully explained how what happened … happened. For those reasons it’s definitely the weakest book in the trilogy but still worth the read.
If you’re looking for a cute, comfy, cozy, holiday series this trilogy is for you!

Such a cozy, spicy, and festive read! Like its predecessors, I expected this to be a Halloween-inspired book, but it hovered in the worlds of both fall and winter which lends itself to being perfect for many months of reading. While I loved the first two books set in this world, I think The Wedding Witch just might be my favorite!

I really enjoyed the third novel in this series - Erin Sterling provides witchy, magic, fun and romance in a wonderful setting.

I’m so sad this series is over, but I read this in one sitting it was such a great ending to the series!
I’m currently without power because of Hurricane Milton, and I’m so glad I had this book to keep me company, so thank you to the author and publisher for an early copy!
Tamsyn and Bowen had amazing chemistry. I was smiling so hard my cheeks were hurting because their banter was just so cute, and I loved to see their relationship go from “professional” to lovers.
This was also my first spooky season read, and I loved the supernatural/witchy elements- it really got me in the mood to read more spooky books this month.
Overall, 5/5 imo. Very cute, very spooky, and very smutty 😉

Thank you, Netgalley, the author, and Avon for the gifted e-book! ❤️ #gifted. My review is comprised of my honest thoughts.
Read this book if you like: Human and witch, grumpy MMC, spicy 🔥
I was not expecting this to be more Christmas than Fall. I really enjoyed it. It's a bit different than the previous two, but just as great. The banter, the spicy, the time travel.. so good!

This was my first foray into to @erinsterlingbooks and what a foray it was! I adored Bowen and Tamsyn and their dynamic and wasn’t expecting to laugh throughout this book the way that I did! Their chemistry was palpable and I enjoyed traveling with them to the 1950s. There is definitely some spice involved in this one! This book has spooky elements (a haunted mansion, witchcraft) but takes place around Christmas so it’s a very versatile read.

It's decided. I adore Erin Sterling books! The Wedding Witch? No exception!
This is such a perfect read for the holiday season, though I do feel it can be thoroughly enjoyed throughout the fall and winter seasons.
One of my favorite things about this book is the dynamic that Sterling creates between our main characters. She allows the reader to fall almost instantly in love with them through the inclusion of absolutely adorable e-mails and text messages at the beginning of the story. This sets the stage in a wonderful way for their in-person interaction, which brings their banter to a whole new level! I had such a fun time diving into their introvert/extrovert dynamic that I found myself smiling and giggling throughout this book.
While the romance is front and center, Sterling has found a way to incorporate an intriguing plot that doesn't take away from that romantic storyline but is also not abandoned as the romantic aspects of the story become more prevalent. She adds in a fun setting and fantastic side characters that really enhance the book, which I appreciated. I think there were a couple of loose ends that could have been given more explanation or tied up a bit more with regards to plot, but it didn't destroy what Sterling had built throughout this book.
Now let's talk about the steam! While I don't dislike open door scenes in romance books, I often find that they fall short. Oftentimes, writers miss the mark with regards to the content of these scenes or so many of them are included that it detracts from the story. Sterling does not fall into this trap! She allows the chemistry between our two main characters to build to the perfect level and executes her open door scenes with near perfection. They enhance the romance and the story as a whole while not overtaking it.
I found this to be such a sweet and charming read and would absolutely recommend that you add it to your TBR for this holiday season!
