Series Info: You could read these as interconnected standalones, but I think you would miss some of the worldbuilding. This was my favorite of the series!
Review: I read this in one sitting, with my eyes, which if you follow me closely you know is *super* rare for me. I tend to read multiple books at once and swap between them, but occasionally I find one that I just read straight through with no breaks for other stories.
I have been DYING for this book since the last one came out because Bowen was set up to be such a grumpy hermit, I just knew I would love him. And the BANTER between Bowen and Tamsyn was just *chef’s kiss*.
My favorite kinds of romances are the ones where each person is absolutely smitten with the other from the beginning, and they are each completely clueless about the other’s feelings. There also has to be some reason they can’t be together that makes sense but doesn’t make either look like a jerk. It’s the reason I tore through The Love Hypothesis and Lovelight Farms.
The witchy plot was also really fun - I loved all of the characters. It was a pretty cozy little mystery like the other books had!

The Wedding Witch is a fun, quick read that's perfect for anytime during the spooky season or the festive yuletide months. I loved this ending to the Ex Hex series, and I hope that we get more witchy rom-coms from Erin Sterling in the future. In The Wedding Witch, Bowen Penhallow and Tamsyn Bligh (who wreaks havoc in the first installment) get their story, and it's such a unique one! Bowen and Tamsyn meet at a wedding in Wales with separate missions on their minds; instead, they end up time-traveling to the 1950s and must work together to save the day. The setting, witty banter, and witchy references all add up to a delightful holiday story that is full of magic! Thanks to Netgalley, HarperCollins, and the author for the librarian preview copy.

If you’re looking for a cozy romantic read this is for you. I liked it not as much as the first two but I did enjoy it. I feel like the relationship was a little rushed there wasn’t any real build up to it. Also I felt that it was a little slow for the first half not much happened. I did really enjoy the mmc Bowen and the fmc Tamsyn their banter was fun to read. Thank you to Avon and NetGalley for the chance to read and review this arc.

Thank you netgalley for the arc of wedding witch in exchange for my honest review. The wedding witch is the third book in the series and centers on the final Penhallow brother Bowen. The Penhallows are a powerful witch family who have had their fair share of family drama. Bowen is a loner living in Wales spending much of his time trying to figure out what happened to turn his best friend into a ghost during a spell gone wrong. Bowen hires Tamsyn to acquire magical artifacts for him in his quest. They end up attending a wedding together and being sent back in time due to a spell. They must work together yo figure out how to try themselves back to the present before time runs out. They fall in love in the process which is always a nice touch. You will be rooting for this pair the whole way through. Four stars. Solid sequel.

It was a cute read and a great 3rd addition to the Ex Hex series.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and Netgalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

What a quick, fun read with spooky AND festive vibes. It’s swoon-worthy how grumpy, bearded, recluse Bowen falls for Tamsyn. I loved the time travel & cozy mystery meets romance. There’s humor, spice, atmospheric setting and cameos from the other Penhallow brothers. If I had to rank them, I’m pretty sure this is my favorite of the three books! It’s perfect for fall or Christmas season if you’re a mood/seasonal reader.

This one missed the mark for me. I loved the first two in the series but even now I am unsure of what the point was with this one. Like they went back in time to make sure they went back in time? It was one giant paradox that made no sense. The romance felt very rushed, there was no build up to it and everything just felt a little disappointing.

Yep! This is my FAVORITE in the Graves Glen Series. It was so so cute!!!
I went in blind and it was so fun.
This is about the last brother Bowen and Tamsyn. If you haven’t read the first one who won’t know who she is but she’s barely in the first one and you wouldn’t be lost anyway! She is so funny. I loved her inner monologue. The first one was so cozy. They all are! But the first, made me want to live in a small town and eat caramel apples all year long.

I was worried because I’ve only read the first in this series and not the second. This book is the “third,” but that really only means it’s about the youngest brother, and each story is only slightly involved with the others (mainly through the characters). That being said, it’s a great romance. With the magicality, the forced proximity and forbidden romance, it was highly entertaining to me.
Lastly, I went into it thinking the witchiness of it all would make for a spooky Halloween read, but the setting was around Yule time, which is winter/Christmas! Fun surprise!

This is the perfect romantic cozy read, perfect for the month of October.
I've been following along with this series from the beginning and was so happy to receive this ARC!
Thank you!

The Wedding Witch is book three in The Ex Hex series by Erin Sterling.
Bowen & Tamsyn were just incredible! Their chemistry is just amazing. The banter was fun and their personalities were great.
The atmosphere was immaculate, the small-town witchy fall/holiday vibes were perfect. The atmosphere is cozy, and the banter is plentiful.
Erin Sterling really brought this town to life and brought me in as a reader new to witches and magic. I loved the romance, tension, and bit of intrigue in The Wedding Witch.
The Wedding Witch is a delightful and enchanting romantic comedy that weaves together humor, magic, and a touch of whimsy in a modern-day fairy tale setting. This novel delivers a charming story that will warm the hearts of readers.
Thank You NetGalley and Avon for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing eARC!

This is such a cutesy read that is just no thoughts, just vibes 🥰
The Wedding Witch follows Bowen, the youngest Penhallow brother, and Tamsyn, reformed magical items dealer, as they navigate a will-they wont-they working relationship despite their burgeoning chemistry. But when they are sent back in time fifty years prior at a wedding, they are forced to confront their fears and their desire for each other.
I read this as a buddy read for Witch Week, and I think we all agreed it was a very light read. This is not a very intellectual read with intense drama, but more of a Hallmark movie with good banter and magic.
The characters are super cute - they have great chemistry and developed personalities. Their relationship, in my opinion, was more fun to me than the plot. I was rooting for them for the entire read, even if it was an immediate attraction scenario.
The plot was nothing incredible: it was bumpy and a bit rushed at the end, but you don’t care too much. The characters and charm make up for the lack of consistent pacing.
This is a great cozy read for this holiday season with a little bit of magic 🔮
Thank you to Netgalley and Headline Eternal for the e-ARC!

3.5 rounded up. I adored the first two books in The Ex Hex series. Both are fall staples for me. I did enjoy The Wedding Witch but of the three it’s my least favorite.
I was hoping this would be another feel good book for fall but this is more of a holiday read. Most the book takes place around Yule. We still have the same wit from the previous books but the signature fall/Halloween feel is not there.
This is one of the few books where I can handle the time travel. It was still a bit weird to me but it worked well enough that I could go with the going back to current time.

🤔My Thoughts: I loved the end to this series. Carys and Bowen's relationship was funny and had plenty of witty banter. Bowen was immediately attracted to Carys, but she wanted things to remain professional. I loved the Meridiths especially Emerald. Bowen was able to meet and watch his grandparents fight and make up. After spending one night in the same bed, both Bowen and Carys were goners for each other.

I loved this just as much as the first two books in the series! I thought the location was so fun and I enjoyed the back and forth between Bowen and Tamsyn. I would love to continue to read more books in this universe!

Real rating: 3.5 🖤

✅ Time travel
✅ One bed (a little commotion for this trope)
✅ Mutual pining
✅ Fast paced
✅ Holiday romance
This was such a cute and cozy read for the Holidays. I absolutely loved the banter between Tamsyn and Bowen and appreciated how their relationship developed over the course of the book. I’m not always a fan of a “love at first sight” trope but I think it was executed well here, and I appreciated that their true feelings were shared much later in the story.
My only real complaint is that the ending felt a little rushed but overall, this was a really strong finish to the series!
Many thanks to NetGalley and Harper Voyager for the ARC. The Wedding Witch is officially out today!

I am a big fan of Erin Sterling and I love that The Wedding Witch is the third book in the Ex Hex universe.
I love that all three Penhallow brothers have now gotten their own books.
Bowen is a grumpy witch that prefers his solitude, Tamsyn (who we briefly met in the Wx Hex) is the collector he’s exclusively hired to find magical artifacts for him.
This book is the 3rd in a series, but you don’t necessarily read the other two to enjoy this one.

Thank you netgalley and Headline Eternal for the opportunity to read this book!

Although I’m going to keep this one short, please don’t let it take away from the read that it was. I already knew I was going to love this one because of how much fun I had with the first two. It was such an enjoyable and witty book that I couldn’t put it down. Add in the magic, witchy vibes and some mystery- it was perfection for the season. Oh, and if you love Halloween time, but are not a fan of spooky and creepy books- this one is perfect for you!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for giving me an e-arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The Wedding Witch was such a cute story! I really enjoyed it! Tamsyn and Bowen were great, but it wasn’t just them. I fell in love with so many of the side characters too, especially Emerald, Elspeth, and Harri!
This book is technically set during Yuletide, but the holiday isn’t really the focus of the story. The story follows Bowen and Tamsyn as they end up time traveling back to 1957. I loved the mystery of why they had been sent back to that time and what they needed to fix. The banter between Bowen and Tamsyn was spot on. The only thing that would have made this book better was if there had been a little more build up in their relationship. It felt like their feelings developed from lust to love overnight.
You don’t need to read the other books in the series in order to understand this one. Each book can be read as a standalone although there are references to some things that happened in the previous books. I haven’t read the other books and I had no trouble following this story. I’m definitely going to go and read the other two books now though because this was such a fun, fast, enjoyable read.

Thank you netgalley, and Avon Publishing, and Erin Sterling for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. This book took a different turn and I loved that! It keeps the series interesting. We finally get the book on the third Penhallow brother, Bowen, and it did not disappoint! Add this book and series to your spooky fall reading TBR!
