The Wedding Witch is a witchy romance that blends Halloween and Christmas, making it the perfect read to kick off the holiday season! The third piece of the Erin Sterling trilogy encompasses romance, time travel, and Welsh holiday traditions. This was a fun and quick read that I was able to devour in less than two days. I did feel like the storyline could have been enhanced a little. The two main characters fell in love, or possibly in lust, quickly over the course of a handful of emails. There could have been a little more backstory to build up the romance. I thoroughly enjoyed the time-travel aspect of the story as the third Penhallow brother and his romantic interest travel back in time to save his grandparents' marriage and thus his existence. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick light read, which is cozy and embraces the Halloween or Christmas seasons. 3/5 Stars

Adorable and spicy, The Wedding Witch is the third novel in the Graves Glen series and this time it's starring Bowen Penhallow. Bowen is trying very hard to find any magical artifact that will help bring back his friend, Declan, from a catastrophic spell gone wrong. Tamsyn Bligh is the procurer of such magical objects. And she just got caught up in a scheme to find a brooch, not for Bowen, but for a mysterious buyer who will grant her 1 million if she can find it. Bowen and Tamsyn end up at the same country estate in Wales, but for different reasons; Bowen to honor Declan's wishes in seeing his ex-fiancee, Carys married, and Tamsyn to procure the brooch, The Star, for her mysterious client. However, Carys casts a spell that sends both Bowen and Tamsyn back to 1957 and they end up trying to figure out what needs fixing before they can return to 2024. Oh and falling in love along the way.

This is so addictingly fun! Grumpy/sunshine, magical time travel, and a mystery they have to solve before it’s too late. I absolutely devoured this book!

Tamsyn has been hired to find rare and magical artifacts by none other than Bowen Penhallow, the powerful and reclusive grouch. At least until a job shows up in her email by a competitor that promises wealth beyond her imagination. But when a spell goes wrong and whips both her and her employer back to the 50’s, can they stop the past from repeating its mistakes?

The tension in this book was so thick, it kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what might come next. I loved each of their personalities as well as the fun bevy of side characters. While it is set in the same world as The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse, it can definitely be read as a standalone and yet still brings back a cameo for those familiar with the stories as well. A must read for this witchy holiday season!

As a fan of Erin Sterling, I was beyond thrilled to get my hands on this book! Bowen's has been the most mysterious of the Penhallow brothers, hardly mentioned in the first two books, so finally getting to see this aloof and introverted brother at the forefront was exciting. Behind the seemingly cold and rugged exterior is a softy at heart- I really enjoyed getting to read chapters from his point of view.

Making her grand return after a not-so-great catastrophic stint in Graves Glen, Tamsyn is back, having taken an exclusive contract as Bowen's personal artifact acquirer. The tension between the two is palpable from the moment they meet, and I thoroughly enjoyed their banter and shameless flirting. The dynamic heavily carries the story, and I'm not complaining. It makes for great reading once they accidentally find themselves stranded decades in the past.

This is a great third installment for the Ex Hex series, and with the setting being switched up for this one (Wales), I found it to be just what we needed for Bowen's story. I loved these two together, and easily fell into the world. I finished this story easily in one sitting!

I highly recommend this for fans of the series and those who may be looking for a witchy romcom or even a witchy holiday romance!

Oh my goooooooodness. It feels like it was just yesterday when I discovered The Ex Hex for the first time and became OBSESSED with the world of Grave Glens and all its magic. But it was quite literally THREE years ago!! In all honesty, I was afraid I had forgotten the cuteness of this world & the characters that came before but just a few chapters in I was in the deep end of obsession.
The Wedding Witch has Bowen, the third Penhallow witchy sibling; broody, quiet and keeps to himself most of the time. Then comes, Tamsyn, no magic whatsoever in her blood but makes a living off of selling magical items, and is the perfect spark that lights up Bowen. When Bowen hires her to procure an object, he inevitably falls in love through her wit and humor. The only thing is Tamsyn has a rule, DONT SLEEP WITH THE BOSS. But when a job goes wrong and they’re stuck quite literally, in the past, Tam figures out there’s more to him than his broodiness. Trying to find a way back to the present time has them opening up to each other in so many ways. Like, EXCUSE ME, the bath scene 👀 Lordy. This was Erin Sterlings spiciest book and I loved every part of it.

It was such a cute book, albeit, it got overwhelming with so many new characters and I wish we spent more time in Graves Glen but overall, I did like that it was different to the first two books. Overall, I had a good time, I think you don’t even necessarily need to read the first two books, this could be read as a standalone honestly.

Tropes:
Time travel/ Parent Trap vibes
Grumpy/Sunshine
He fell first and HARDER

The Wedding Witch is such a fun follow up to Erin Sterling’s other two novels in the series. I loved getting to read Bowen’s story and the holiday setting at Tywyll House was so fun! This story is perfect for Christmastime but would also make a great spooky read with the magical elements, ghosts, time travel, and artifacts explored. Our two main characters, Bowen and Tamsyn, has instant chemistry and I was rooting for them the entire time, It was also great to see the back story of the Penhallow family and I enjoyed the coupling of Bowen’s grandparents as well. It is a quick, fast read and is perfect for this time of year.

I have to admit, I haven’t read the first two books in the series but this one was cute! The callbacks to other characters in the series didn’t hit as hard since I didn’t know who they were but it wasn’t a huge deal. Like others had said, I didn’t get a lot of relationship development between Tamsyn and Bowen but it was a cute and cozy witchy read for the holiday season.

In A Yuletide Wedding in Tywyll House, Bowen Penhallow is a lonely guy who studies dark magic on a mountaintop in Wales. His ghost friend Declan convinces him to attend a fancy wedding, and Bowen agrees, even though he’d rather be alone. Tamsyn Bligh, who sells magical items and hopes to score big at the wedding, has her eye on Bowen, but she knows getting involved with a witch is risky. When a spell gone wrong sends them back to a Yuletide celebration in 1957, Bowen and Tamsyn must work together to find a way back home. As they face the mysteries of Tywyll House and their growing feelings for each other, the story mixes romance and magic in an exciting adventure.

I really enjoyed Tamsyn and Bowen’s story, especially the unique scenery this book offered compared to others in the series. While it may not be my favorite, it still earned a solid 4-star rating from me. I appreciated how Graves Glen was woven back into the narrative, as it’s one of my favorite fictional towns. Overall, the time-traveling love story was beautifully written, and the bathtub scene was a standout moment for me. Thank you, NetGalley, for the gifted e-ARC!

Tamsyn and Bowen attend a yuletide wedding and things quickly go awry thanks to a spell gone bad. They end up in 1957 with no clue what they need to do. They obviously want to get back to the present but have to work together to figure out how in the heck to actually accomplish that. There were lots of cute. fun, awkward moments along the way, and we love a good he falls first situation. This is such a fun series and I love all of the brothers.

The Wedding Witch was a fun, time traveling, spicy adventure that kept me engaged to the very end. Reclusive Bowen and adventurous but lonely Tamsyn are incredibly likable and their romance was sassy and sexy, truly a great pairing, and perhaps my favorite couple in the trilogy.

I look forward to the next Erin Sterling novel!

Thanks to NetGalley for the advance copy!

Bowen doesn't know that the acquirer he's been working with is a woman--not just any woman, but a drop dead gorgeous one named Tamlyn. Until he meets her in a pub on Christmas Eve. He wants her to work exclusively for him. But the next holiday season he takes some time off for family (and other things) so, Tamlyn takes on another job. A very lucrative one. But when she gets to the wedding she's crashing, who does she meet right off the bat? None other than the man himself, Bowen. Then things go south when the bride uses the item Tamlyn is trying to acquire to make a wish, sending Bowen and Tamlyn back to 1957 with not a clue what they are supposed to fix while they are there.

This book was very fast paced with the male lead falling first, but with her not far behind. Moments of awkward levity at just the right moments keeps this Yuletide romp from taking itself too seriously.

I absolutely adored this book. So cute. I really enjoyed getting to know each brother with the books in this series. I can't wait to read more from the author. Thanks again to the publisher for this arc.

The Wedding Witch was an adorable and witchy romance, with lots of magic, spells gone wrong, and finding the right person.

Tamsyn is in need of a job. She is not a witch, but works with plenty of them seeking out magical artifacts. When Bowen Penhallow offers her a position as an exclusive client, she agrees on the spot. Never mind some previous business dealings with the Penhallows and Joneses that went south a few months back... But when an offer pops up offering a million dollars for the acquisition, Tamsyn can't really refuse. She ends up in disguise at a fancy witch wedding during Yule, where of course Bowen is also in attendance. When the bride-to-be casts a spell in an emotional moment, Tamsyn and Bowen are cast back in time, and need to fix whatever went wrong that weekend in 1958 to return to the present. Can they stay professional despite the unusual circumstances, or will they finally give in to whatever is brewing between them?

I thought this was a fun and easy read, and a great follow up to The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse. This book follows the third Penhallow brother, Bowen, who is a bit of a loner and we saw briefly in the two previous books, and Tamsyn, the young woman who got mixed up with some bad deals in Graves Glen. We have a dual POV in this book, which I really enjoy - I just love seeing both characters as they pine over each other. It was fun to get some glimpses of our other Graves Glen couples and see what they are up to. This is a fairly light read with some spicy moments, and is a great fall or winter escape. Overall, I enjoyed it a ton and was glad to be back with the Penhallows for another witchy book.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Avon Harper Voyager for the advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

As always. Erin really delivered with this cute, witchy novel. It had just the right blend of romance and adventure. I enjoyed the quest the two characters had to go on together. It was a cute installment into the Gwen Halllow gang.

Bowen Penhallow, the last of the Penhallow brothers, finally gets his moment to shine! Bowen is most comfortable hiding out in Wales, studying dark magic and keeping to himself. However, a request from a (ghost) friend sends him to Tywyll House to attend a Yuletide wedding. Tamsyn Bligh, recently contracted by Bowen to obtain magical items, will attend this Yule wedding - but not as Bowen's guest. She's taking one last job outside of Bowen's requests, and this request will ensure her safety for the rest of her life. In the days before the wedding, things begin to go awry. The house is haunted, the bride is having cold feet, and suddenly, Bowen and Tamsyn are transported back to 1957. To get back to 2024, they must determine why they were sent there and what needs to happen to fix it. In the meantime, they are falling in love with each other (as one does when time traveling). As Yule draws closer, will the pair be stuck in 1957? And what happens if they don't make it back to the present?

I loooooove this series. However, this one felt a little rushed and not as fleshed out as the previous two. The story has a lot of potential!! After this one, I'm not sure I want a 4th Graves Glen book. My gripes aside, this is a great festive addition to your end-of-2024 reading list. It's just the right amount of fantasy and is a fairly quick read. Plus, it's super cute that now all 3 brothers have found their place - and someone to love. If you are a fan of the previous two books, definitely give this a read!

The final book in The Ex Hex series, this one might have been my fav, because I'm a sucker for a time travel/Back to the Future type scenario. Rom-coms tend to be more character driven than plot driven, but this one I felt was the opposite, and the Yuletide setting of 1957 and insight into the past lives of the now older characters made up for the lack of depth we were given in the main characters.

Bowen, the most reclusive Penhallow brother, has hired the magical artifact acquirer (and very human) Tamsyn Bligh to gather the materials necessary to bring his best friend Declan back from the in between after a spell gone wrong. Ghostly Declan appears to Bowen with a wedding invitation in hand, and asks him to attend the wedding of his former fiancée. Stunned to find Tamsyn at the same wedding, trying to do "one last job" behind Bowen's back, they somehow find themselves transported back to the same estate in 1957 after the reluctant bride tearfully performs a spell over the brooch in question. Back in time, they try to repair Bowen's grandparents broken engagement, solve the mystery of why the brooch holds so much power, and fall in love while pretending to be married. The love story between Bowen and Tamsyn sparked with forced proximity and only one bed, but I was more interested in trying to piece together the past clues with the present. There were definitely some plot holes and motivations that didn't make sense, but the imagery of a grand Welsh countryside estate in full holiday swing felt like something out of a Masterpiece period drama.

If you’ve enjoyed The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse, you’ll likely also enjoy The Wedding Witch. Like the other two books in this trilogy, The Wedding Witch is cozy and cute, although it’s set around yule time, rather than Halloween. I did miss the town of Graves Glen a little (it only really makes a cameo in this book), but the time travel plot is fun, and Tasmyn and Bowen have good chemistry and make a fun couple. This isn’t exactly a super deep book, but it’s a great choice when you’re looking for witchy vibes and wanting a palette cleansing read or are looking to bust a book slump/hangover.

Thank you to Harper Collins for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

The Wedding Witch was a delightful paranormal romance, featuring a magical time travel adventure and my new favorite protagonists in the Graves Glen series.

Tamsyn, a human, works collecting magical artifacts for witches. Bowen is her occasional customer, and the man of her dreams. Tamsyn, however, has a strict “no getting involved with customers” rule that he makes difficult to keep.

Tamsyn and Bowen are determined to ignore their mutual attraction, but everything changes when they run into each other while Tamsyn is on a potential life changing quest to procure a magical broach, and Bowen is fulfilling his (ghost) friend Duncan’s request to attend a Yuletide wedding.

A spell gone wrong sends Tamsyn and Bowen back to the year 1957 and they must work together to return to the present. Forced into close proximity - including having to pretend to be newlyweds - their feelings become harder to ignore.

Bowen was so soft for Tamsyn and she loved to make him blush. Their attraction, their communication, their banter, was top tier. I loved the way they always spoke honestly and openly with one another. It made their road to a happy ending magical.

The Wedding Witch was the perfect fun, low stakes read to start the spooky season.

I did not realize when I signed up for this ARC that it was the 3rd in a series (oops!) but thankfully, it is able to be read (mostly) as a standalone. I definitely did not feel completely lost during the family scenes.

I loved Bowen - he was the perfect mix of awkward and sexy, and his introverted desire to interact with as few people as possible was something I can 100% relate to! His initial reaction to Tamsyn was absolutely adorable, and I was glad to see that energy carried throughout the book.

The banter was fantastic, the chemistry was smoking, and the mystery was intriguing! My only issue with the book was the ending - nothing was explained! At least, not to my satisfaction! I can only hope to see more of Bowen and Tamsyn in future novels!
