Bowen is a witch who is one of the MCs in the book and Tandy’s is a human. The book is centered Bowen and Tamsyn working together to get back to the present, and facing off with the origins of Tywyll House’s haunting, the suspicions of their fellow witches…oh, and the fact that somewhere between the mistletoe and the bonfire, they might be falling in love.
I had a hard time connecting with all the characters and felt they were undeveloped. I wanted to feel more of the chemistry but for more than half the book it didn’t happen until finally it did and then it was over. So the love story didn’t hold true to a typical slow burn in my opinion.
They did provide a nice banter consistency and a lot of funny lovable moments but the overall feel just felt a little short for me unfortunately. Still a really cute and magical read for those who loved the first two.

I’m such a big fan of this series and the penhollow boys! This did feel a little rushed to me but there was still a good storyline. I haven’t always been a fan of time travel but I think this was done well.

My Rating: 🌟🌟🌟💫 (3.5 rounded up to 4, due to GR and NG ratings)

This is the third book in Erin Sterling's Ex Hex series, following The Ex Hex and The Kissing Curse. This story follows the recluse Penhallow mountain man brother Bowen in his quest to find ancient magic items. He decides to find someone online to help him in his search for these items and stumbles upon Tamsyn Bligh.
Tamsyn, after a year of working for Bowen, decides to do one last job on her own. She and Bowen end up showing up to the same wedding at Tywyll House because of this. Bowen is there because he was guilted by his ghost roomate/bestfriend, Declan, into going to this wedding of his ex fiancé and Tamsyn is there to do her final job, find this special Brooch. One thing leads to another, and they find themselves 50 years in the past, needing to figure out what went wrong all those years ago and to fix it so they can return to 2024. Tamsyn, from the start of her and Bowen's business dealings, set strict boundaries. She did not get involved with coworkers. Soon, those boundaries get blurred.
The Wedding Witch brought new elements to this series. This was the first human and witch romantic relationship. There were also several steamy scenes. This was also the first book to take place very little in Graves Glen; the different locations and time traveling kept things interesting for me.
All this said, though, this book didn't blow me away like the very first one book, and the second had me feeling warm and fuzzy. I just didn't feel the wedding/winter/Christmasy/Yule vibes I had expected from the title and description. All in all, I would recommend this title to other fans on the series. I'm glad I read it and got to dive into more of this world. It's still a cute read, hoping the series continues.

The Wedding Witch is the perfect end to the Grave Glen series. The way Erin Sterling blended the time travel elements with the romance and the melancholy of the Yuletide season. I love the flirtation between our hero and heroine. I've been waiting two books to understand Bowen and see him fall in love and I wasn't disappointed!

I rated it a 4 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed the book and the relationship, and it was exactly what I expected it to be. A solid, fun read.

Thanks to Avon for the gifted copy of this book!
A perfect read for those who don’t know if they’re in the mood for spooky season or holiday reads, THE WEDDING WITCH is the third book in the EX HEX series, but it can also be read as a standalone.
Bowen Penhallow hires short and feisty Tamsyn to get all of the magical artifacts he’s looking for to help right a past mistake. She has a rule not to sleep with her bosses — but she still gets in a mistletoe kiss before their work relationship is official. When magic goes awry and they’re unexpectedly stuck together, can they stay apart?!
Spoiler - it’s a no 😂 This was a super light, fun, and bingeable read with a grouchy, bearded Welshman witch and a take-no-crap FMC. Their dynamic was cute and although the plot left something to be desired and the pacing was a bit stop and rush, I did really like Bowen and Tamsyn’s relationship!

This was a solid witchy read for both christmas and spooky time. This book follows Bowen (a witch and the third Penhallow brother) and Tamsyn (a non magical human).
Tamsyn is Bowen’s employee and they bump into each other at a Christmastime/Yuletime wedding. When a spell goes wrong, they time travel into the past and must help mend an important relationship in the year 1957.
This book as so fun and perfect for the spooky season. I did feel like something was missing with the relationship aspect - we jumped from acquaintances to “in love” kind of out of the blue.
I’d definitely recommend this series and book for someone wanting a light, fun read for spooky season that isn’t actually spooky 🫶🏻

The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling is the third book in the Graves Glen paranormal romance series.
Technically, this trio of books can be read individually as standalones, but I'd still recommend reading them in order since we do get cameos and updates from the MCs of the previous books in later installments. This one felt the steamiest of all three, and I'm not complaining.
I've really enjoyed this series so far, but the plot felt like it had a few hitches in this one. I had several questions as it wrapped up that I felt were left a bit ambiguous or perhaps were even forgotten. The author mentioned in her Acknowledgements that this one was the hardest book she's ever had to write. I think that came across a bit for me in the execution.
The first 10% of the book is taken up by a prologue that is semi-epistolary, which I tend to enjoy. I wish there was a bit more of that, though, to help build up the feelings these two characters had for one another. They seemed to jump to love from like super fast.
Though The Wedding Witch didn't land as well for me as the first two books in the series, in the end I'd still recommend it as a fun and steamy cozy paranormal romance to pick up this fall or winter.
Tropes in this book include: "office" romance, fake dating, forced proximity, only one bed, time travel shenanigans, holiday (yule), epistolary prologue

I will always read Erin Sterling and this point definitely proves why! Amazing witchy vibes combined with the holidays, means this is something I will want to read again and again. The banter between Tasmyn and Bowen was so fun anf I found myself looking forward to every interaction between the two. This is a great addition to Erin's previous books and I can't wait to read what she writes next!

What a fun crossover--a Halloween-y yet very Christmas-focused story. Bowen and Tasmine get stuck in the past while attending a Christmas wedding at a very magical estate. Need I say more?!
Bowen and Tasmine have this very much opposites attract feel. She is this vixen putting her life at risk to find precious artifacts from the past, while he is very much a studious introvert preferring to stay in his library than anywhere else. Together they must solve what happened when a desperate spell was cast sending them to the past.
Erin Sterling did such a good job writing the steam for this book. Did I mention there is only one bed!? Bowen and Tasmyn have undeniable tension and chemistry, but I also would have liked to see a little more relationship build-up. I felt like we went from first meeting to intense feelings very quickly. While this is a romance novel, I really enjoyed the mystery side plot. It kept me engaged so they could get their happy ever after. Not to mention the past and present of each family was fun to compare.
Read if you like a sort of workplace, opposites attract, time-traveling witchy romance. Thanks to the publisher for the ARC in return for an honest review. This book releases 10/15.

It's cute and I love the story between the two main characters. I like it is a cute story and it's a romance. The writing isn't to complex.

THE WEDDING WITCH is a fun addition to the series that the author has created. Following the third Penhallow brother, Bowen, this was a perfect witchy read for spooky season that had romance, fun and witty banter, and a good story.
The thing I love most about romances is the interaction between the main couple. To watch them grow, discover an interest in one another, especially amid whatever conflict brews in the background, makes it delightful and a good time. This book has that. The interactions between Bowen and Tamsyn were funny and entertaining. They complimented each other. Their chemistry was there.
The story, while a bit convoluted and it did take awhile to get the readers to the main conflict, was entertaining. There do seem to be things that get explained away a bit too quickly. However, I read this book for fun, and to me, it was fun. It made me relaxed. It made me excited for autumn. And it made for a light read. It was an entertaining story, one that I think many would enjoy if they are there for a good time.
Overall, I really enjoyed the book and it think it a great addition to the series. It had spice, witty banter, and a fun romance. If you loved the other books in the series, this one adds to it and then some. It’s probably my favorite so far.
Thank you to Avon Harper and NetGalley for a copy of this book exchange for an honest review!

4.75/5 stars
This book follows Bowen Penhallow and Tamsyn Bligh. Bowen hires Tamsyn to help him track down artifacts and the book starts by developing their friendship through texts and emails.
After they unexpectedly meet up at a wedding, Tamsyn tries to get a brooch as an artifact and Bowen is there for a friend. They end up time-traveling to the past unexpectedly which was unexpectedly but interesting.
I really enjoyed this book, apart from a big plot point that just gets explained away because of *MAGIC*. This book is really fast-paced and there isn't must relationship angst apart from the fact that Tamsyn refuses to have any romantic relationships with her boss which Bowen technically is. Overall, highly recommend this book.
Thank you very much for this ARC.

The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling
Rating: 4.5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Spice: 2/5 🌶️🌶️
A huge thank you to HarperCollins, Avon, Netgalley, and Erin Sterling for access to this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I was thrilled to discover that there is a third installment to the Graves Glen series. It was amazing to follow along the journey of another Penhallow! I really love how these books are interconnected stand alones.
Bowen and Tamsyn are one of my favorite couples! I loved their dynamic and seeing them navigate time travel, ghosts, and magic was delightfully entertaining. Their chemistry is absolutely superb. I really enjoyed the mystery aspect to the story as they work together to figure out time travel and to find their way back while getting a happily ever after for everyone!
Overall, this was a super fun, sweet read for the holiday season full of surprises, adventure, and coziness!
Tropes:
- Grumpy x sunshine
- Fall romance
- Time travel
- Only one bed

This was easily my favorite book of this series. It was fun, it was whimsical, it had an air of mystery, and it had some fiery chemistry between Bowen and Tamsyn.
I loved the dynamic between Bowen and Tamsyn from their very first meeting. Bowen was very clearly enthralled by Tamsyn, and Tamsyn had a very confident, go-after-what-you-want attitude that I admired about her. Even their banter over correspondence and not in person was witty and had a flirty edge to it despite their mutual resistance and denial of feelings.
The time travel element was entertaining and provided some delicious forced proximity between the two of them as they tried to solve the mystery of how to return home. Their interactions with everyone around them were fun and also gave them some outsider insight to their relationship that they weren’t seeing or were unwilling to see for themselves.
I can’t pretend I fully understood the mechanics or the magic that brought them back and how it all played out but that’s ok. It was still fun. There were some various odds and ends from conversations with Tamsyn and Bowen as well as some secondary characters that I would have like a little more development on, but overall this was a quick, enjoyable read.
Thank you to NetGalley and Avon for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Such wintery vibes without being too christmasy...I mean Yule, as Bowen would say.
I loved seeing gruff Bowen open up to Tamsyn. It was very sweet to see them fall for each other through texts in the beginning. The I need to show Tamsyn this instinct he had when Bowen got put in a kitchy Christmas/Yule sweater was just adorable.
Moving on to the actual plot of this book, the best way to describe it would be fun and sweet. The struggles are more external to the relationship between the main characters as Bowen and Tamsyn fall for and into each other pretty quickly. It is a good start of winter read with some high stakes of ya know being lost in the past or worse.
I loved how everything got tied up in the end as well, it was very much a feel good book.

Erin Sterling, you witchy magical genius.
I absolutely ADORE this entire series. I can’t pinpoint exactly *what* I love about them, but I have thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them.
However, even though this is a witchy read, it gives more Christmas than fall vibes since it revolves around Yule.
I don’t remember the other two very well (I read both of them when they were first released), but I think this one may be my favorite?? I loved the time travel aspect, and the grumpy x sunshine AND one bed trope?!? 🙌
I really enjoyed Bowen and Tamsyn’s characters. Tamsyn’s charm and wit mixed with Bowen’s general grumpiness created an incredible dynamic AND amazing banter. Even though it was (kind-of) insta-love, I still looked forward to all of their interactions.
Overall, The Wedding Witch was an incredibly fun, quick read, and if you love witchy books then you’ll probably like this!
And finally - thank you so much to NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review!

so excited to have gotten an arc of this after how much i loved the ex hex + kiss curse, thank you to Erin Sterling & publishers 🥳
this book follows the third Penhallow brother, Bowen - he’s a bit of a loner in his small mountain town and he works with Tamsyn procure ancient magic items. On the search for answers to a mystery involving his friend, Bowen ends up running into Tamsyn at a wedding and that’s when everything really begins to pick up in the book.
As far as Bowen & Tamsyn goes, they were okay but not my favorite Penhallow couple - the chemistry just wasn’t the same as the other two books. BUT! I did really enjoy the time traveling aspect and the side characters in this! I thought it was a very fun twist on the series not being set in the same place as the first two and it tied in very well!

Shockingly little wedding in this one! I loved the start of this series but each one lately has been a slog for me. I don’t think I connected well with our leads, and it couldn’t hold my interest - which is the recipe for a dnf, but I managed to make it through. This might be the last one for me of the series though.

Absolutely loved this. This author is becoming a must read for me. You will not be disappointed in her books.
