I gotta say, this one sucked me in and I finished it the same day I started it.
Everything about it got me - witches, time travel, romance and on top of it, silly moments.
Overall, I really enjoyed it!
I had not read the previous books in this series, and picked this one up on a whim. I do not feel like this hurt my understanding of what was happening in the story at all.

I was excited to read this one given my love for the author’s other works, but unfortunately, this one didn’t resonate with me. The premise of dark magic and romance had potential, but the story felt formulaic, and the characters didn’t develop in a way that kept me engaged. The pacing was slow at times, and while the time travel aspect was interesting, I struggled to stay invested. This just didn’t hit the mark for me, though I’m sure fans of light fantasy with romance may enjoy it.

I think the decision to pivot this series from Halloween to Christmas (technically Yule) was a great one, because it kept the book feeling fresh. Overall, this was a cute holiday romance, I think the plot development was just a bit lacking.

The Wedding Witch is a great lighthearted story. Perfect for fall to winter. Erin Sterling really knows how to write charming, romantic fantasy filled with magic. Perfect for fans of contemporary witchy romances.

I received the eARC for my honest opinion.
If you’re wanting to read a cute paranormal romance that is around the Yule season, this is the book you need to pick up.
This is the third installment of the Graves Glen series, and it was just as cute as the other books. I loved that we got to see Bowen and Tamsyn in this book and go on a fun and a little bit scary adventure. I really enjoyed the plot of this book; it was cute, funny, a bit of drama and a lot of adventures. I found it easy to connect with the characters, and I found myself able to relate to them. I loved that Tamsyn was all about “Never get involved with a coworker, but also a personal rule: Never let a good mistletoe moment pass by” I loved that! I found Erin’s writing to flow through the pages, and I also found the book to be fast paced. I loved when you read her books you will feel as though you’re there with the characters.
I found it cute that Bowen and Tamsyn were opposites, you have Bowen who is quiet and keeps to himself. He is also dealing with a secret that is causing him a lot of hurt. You then have Tamsyn who is outgoing but at the same time she loves spending time at her house surrounded by the trees. You will get to see these characters who have to act like they’re married when they go to a wedding, Bowen is there with an invite and Tamsyn is there because she has found a new gig while she waits for Bowen to call upon her again to find some magical objects. However, when they get there and find out that something isn’t right in that house and that there is old magic happening, then they’re transported to the past and they need to figure out what is wrong and fix it. It was so much watching them try to figure out what to do and how to fix what happened but also trying to fight back their ever-going chemistry.
I can’t wait to see what Erin Sterling brings us next.
I want to thank NetGalley and Avon for the opportunity to review this book.

Thank you to Netgalley and the Publishing Company for this Advanced Readers Copy of The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling!

LOVE Erin Sterling's witchy reads, delightful, sexy, and cozy. These books are the blueprint for witchy romance. Would read 100 more.

Thank you so much to NetGalley, the author, and publisher for allowing me to review this book for my honest opinion. I love this series so much! This book is just as cute and heartwarming as the first two and I highly recommend all three books in this series. I love the mix of romance, cozy vibes, and a bit of spooky all mixed together. This third book also adds a touch of the holiday vibes which I love even more! Thank you again for allowing me and o review this sweet romance!

I absolutely love this series and this book! The Penhallow brothers were so fun to follow along with for 3 books. I also liked that this book leaned more into the holiday vibe!

#3 in the wildly popular Ex-Hex series by Erin Sterling (aka Rachel Hawkins) and it was just as entertaining as the first two. I highly recommend this entire series if you want a fun ride with a little spooky thrown in!!!
Thank you Netgalley for the chance to read and review this book!!!

This was a wonderful addition to the Ex Hex series. While I enjoyed each of the books there was something so special about Bowen Penhallow. Bowen was this reclusive, sort of awkward man with a little bit of a dirty side. While I was a little unsure of how I felt about Tamsyn after her involvement earlier in the series, I absolutely feel in love with Bowen and Tamsyn as a couple. The time travel aspect was so much fun as well!

I have really enjoyed the first two installments in this series and was anticipating this release since it had been delayed. Unfortunately, I had a hard time getting into this book as the tone felt way off. Maybe I'll be able to hop back into this one in the future, but sadly I had to move on to other reads in the meantime.

3.5 stars
The Wedding Witch is a good addition to the Graves Glen series. I liked that it expanded out from the town and added the time travel twist to the story. Bowen and Tamsyn had great chemistry and banter. I really liked those first few chapters with their messaging back and forth. It was cute seeing them get to know one another over that time.
The story moved at a good pace and the audiobook was really well done. I liked the narrators quite a bit.

The Wedding Witch is the third book in The Graves Glen series. While it could be read as a standalone, I really enjoyed all three, and think they are all worth a read.
I loved the Christmas theme and of course, the witchy vibes. It has time travel, one bed trope, boss x employee, and our main characters had lots of chemistry! The whole book wrapped up well, and if this is the end of the series, what a great conclusion!
“Bowen Penhallow has always been a loner, studying dark and ancient magic on a mountaintop in Wales. He prefers it that way. But when his friend Colin—who happens to be a ghost—asks him to attend a Yuletide wedding at a grand estate deep in the Welsh countryside, Bowen reluctantly agrees.
Tamsyn Bligh is not a witch, but she makes her living off of them. As a procurer and seller of magical items, Tamsyn’s business is not always above board, but she’s been trying to fix that (mostly.) Bowen is an occasional customer—as well as the star of several of Tamsyn’s dirtiest dreams—but she’s been around enough witches to know that, as a human, getting involved with one is not the smartest idea. She’s finagled an invite to the Witchy Wedding of the Century in the hopes of finally making a score big enough to retire. Just one priceless magical artifact from Tywyll House would set her up for life.”
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this free review copy. I’m way late, but trying to catch up!! 🫶

I absolutely love this series and while I did enjoy this one, I didn’t love it as much as the first two in the series. Because of the time travel element in this book, it doesn’t actually take place in Graves Glen, which I felt took away the central cozy factor that the first two books did so well. However, I did love finally getting more of Bowen’s, the mysterious Penhallow brother, story.

I have really enjoyed this series and loved this of a heroine that needed to be redeemed. The hero was especially sweet as I love antisocial heroes.

I decided to give this one a shot after seeing some people enjoying it, and it seemed like a fun, witchy, cutesy romance to dive into. I picked up the audiobook from the library, and I’ll say it’s a quick listen—just over 7 hours. But honestly, it was only okay for me. I’d actually forgotten that I read the first book in this series when it was released, and I had a similar reaction to that one, so maybe this author or series just isn’t my thing. If you're looking for a lighthearted, witchy, time-travel-esque read, then I’d definitely recommend giving this series a try. In this book, the hero and heroine start working together—he’s a Welsh loner focused on researching ancient magic, and she’s hired to find an artifact for one of his wealthy clients. He falls for her, and the story unfolds from there!

“‘Oh, it’s ghastly… Whole west wing is crumbling to dust, there are bats in the turret, and just last week, our gardener dug up two skeletons in my rosebushes. I’d always said there was something wrong with that patch of earth, but no one bothered to listen.’”
Quick review for the 3rd book in The Ex Hex series!
This short novel was really easy to get through! There was witty banter, romance, swoon-worth moments, & time travel! Honestly, the time travel was my favorite aspect 😅
This was a fun and quick read/listen that would be perfect to read around Halloween or Christmas!
🔥 Spice level: 2🌶️ - 3 different descriptive scenes and multiple sexual discussions.
Audiobook length: 6.5 hours
Narrator: Mary Jane Wells
Thank you to NetGalley & HarperCollins Publisher for the free ARC in exchange for an honest review!

LOVED this third book in the Ex Hex series. I truly thought Bowen and Tamsyn were so much fun and their journey to return back to present time was everything I didn't know I needed. I loved the Yule vibes as well.

The Wedding Witch was the long awaited third book in Sterling's adorably funny Graves Glen series. It continues the story of the Penhallow men and their witchy loves. This story I believe is the best in the series yet. It has mystery, romance, a creative plot and of course lots of magic! It's charming!
Bowen Penhallow, the last of the Penhallow brothers still single owns a bar and likes his privacy. He is indeed very grumpy, does not like to talk, let alone socialize with anyone. So, when his best friend, who is sort of a ghost, comes and begs him to attend the wedding of his girlfriend when he was alive, well he certainly can't say no seeing as Bowen believes he caused his friend to become the ghost he is now.
Although when he gets there, he is shocked to find Tamsyn Bligh, a human who he secretly has a bit of a crush on and uses to find missing items he wishes to recover. Tamsyn is a free spirit who has Raiders of the Lost Ark vibes. She's not afraid of anyone or anything, except when she thinks about her client Bowen, (and she does that a great deal)!
Tamsyn has decided to do a search for another client for a mysterious artifact and not tell Bowen who she is supposed to be working for exclusively. So Bowen is a bit angry to find her here.
But that anger turns to confusion as they are somehow transported back in time to Bowen's grandparents' wedding and to add to the chaos, his grandparents have had a fight and have called off the wedding! Which means if Bowen doesn't fix this he will never be born and never have met Tasmyn!
They somehow must figure out how to fix whatever the problem is between his relatives and then assess how on earth they get out of this place and back to the future all while hoping they haven't changed history.
As they begin to search for clues as to what has happened and how to get home. their relationship begins to change. They might actually like each other...a lot! Even more reason to try and get home. To add to their anxiety, they have been told they only have a certain amount of time to fix the problem, or they will no longer exist, like ever!
The Wedding Witch is a fun read with visits of course from our favorite characters from the previous two stories with a wonderful mysterious lovable ending which will hopefully continue this delightful series.
