“The Wedding Witch” gave me everything I wanted in a fun, fall witchy book! I’ll admit that I wasn’t as excited about this pairing as I was for the preluding Graves Glen couples, but this story was SO good. Bowen, our black sheep of the family, meets Tamsyn, the magical artifacts dealer. They decide to work together, as Bowen is trying to recover his lost best friend. The vibes and setting were immaculate - a wedding at a legacy witch family’s estate during Yule. I loved these two together, and the plot was so engaging to me! This is probably my favorite of the whole series. I can’t wait to see what Erin Sterling does next.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC.

This was a very cute, fluffy holiday romance that did not concern itself too much with plot. I enjoyed gruff, isolated Bowen and very peppy Tamsyn. There had a thin layer of backstory and family history, but this story is not overly concerned with that. The plot centers mostly around a quick hop to the past where Bowen and Tamsyn at first think they need to "parent trap" his grandparents, but it turns out they're really saving someone else. After a lot of running around in the rain, a little deus ex grandmama results in an overly-easy conclusion to all conflict. And no explanation how the fix affected the future at all - just a generic "magics gonna magic." Throughout, we get lots of sexual tension, a very steamy bath scene, and a couple other spicy moments. These were really well written, and hot enough to make you blush. And I did love the moments with the characters from the previous books - Rhys & Vivienne and Wells & Gwyn are still a delight. All-in-all an enjoyable piece of holiday escapism, but one you won't get much depth from.

Witches. Steamy scenes. Time-Travel. I enjoyed this third book in the series and it was great to learn more about Bowen in this book. I surprisingly loved the time-travel aspect to it! I loved the witchy vibes, but I do wish it had taken place during Halloween instead of winter, but that could also be my personal preference of reading witch books during the fall season.
Thank you to Avon and Harper Voyager along with Netgalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Omg what a fun romp this was. The third in the Penhallow witches series (yes, you should read these in order), we finally get the story of the last Penhallow brother, Bowen. Even though this book technically takes place in December, it is perfect for spooky season as well. The story is set in a remote and haunted Welsh castle, so lots of gothic elements to be had. I’d say this is definitely the spiciest of the three books, and it’s a bit of an insta-love situation, but I still really enjoyed it. A very fun witchy romance perfect for this time of year.

Thank you to NetGalley and Avon for the ARC of The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling. As someone who has enjoyed all of The Ex Hex series, The Wedding Witch is a perfectly magical and satisfying conclusion! Sterling continues to bring her signature blend of steamy romance, witchy charm, and laugh-out-loud fun in this latest installment. The chemistry between the leads sizzles on every page, and the romantic tension is off the charts! Fans of the series will love how Sterling weaves in delightful callbacks to previous books, all while keeping the plot fresh and enchanting. This is the perfect spicy fall read.

The Wedding Witch is the third book in a series of witchy romcoms revolving around the same families. In the first two books, readers have met two of the Penhollow brothers (Wells and Rhys), but this book is where surly Welsh brother Bowen gets his chance to shine. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story, but it's fluffy and something that I would only recommend to readers who are looking for seasonal fun vibes.
I loved the sizzle and romance in this book; Bowen and Tamsyn have such great chemistry and you could just tell the two of them were meant to be together. The sheer ridiculousness of most of the plot points, however, and ease and convenience of getting the characters together in the same place definitely felt forced. It was so much fun briefly revisiting the characters from the first two books. The ending comes very quickly and felt like it wrapped things up too quickly.
So overall, if you just want something fun, light, and witchy to read in the fall - with a wedding setting and slight Christmasy feel - this is your book.

Super cute cozy read with a bit of spice. Loved the back to the future element along with forced proximity.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Witchy vibes, but make it Christmas! The Wedding Witch is the third book in the series following The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse (read in order!) and features the middle Penhallow brother, Bowen.
After a spell gone wrong in college, Bowen has dedicated his life to helping his friend, Declan. He enlisted the help of Tamsyn, who we met in The Ex Hex, who has become a magical artifacts acquisition expert. While on a job, Bowen and Tamsyn find themselves on the wrong side of a spell and end up sent back in time to 1957. They have until Yule to figure out what they have been sent back to fix.
The story is told in Dual POV (my favorite way to read a romcom) and there is a lot of fun banter back and forth between Bowen and Tamsyn. The build up to the relationship turning physical did feel a little sudden, but I am reminded they have been effectively flirting in texts and emails for nearly a year.
I am not quite sure if I really felt the Christmas/winter vibes, nor was I feeling the same fall/cosy vibes from the first two books. This sort of fell in the middle. If the deadline for solving their mystery hadn’t been Yule, the book could have taken place at any time in the year. In fact, the weddings (both in 2024 and 1957) gave me more spring/summer vibes.
I liked the addition of time travel in this book and there were a few twists that kept me guessing and a mystery to solve. But the ending left me confused and didn’t quite come together for me.
This was a nice addition to the series, but I enjoyed the first two books more.
3 stars.

So happy to be back in Graves Glen and so sad to see the series end. Bowen Penhallow is the most reclusive brother. During his work to bring back his friend, Declan, he hires Tamsyn to help procure some magical artifacts. For her part, Tamsyn does above-board work, but she cannot resist the change for a larger job than what she does for Bowen when she receives a wedding invite in the mail. Bowen happens to attend the same one, and when a spell goes awry, Bowen and Tamsyn are sent back in time 50 years. In the fight to make it back to present day, they come to terms with the feelings and tension which has been building between them for about a year.
Might be my favorite book of the series-- I loved how their love developed for each other. They are supportive of each other, and Bowen treats Tamsyn as an equal. Happy endings all around which never hurts either.

Bowen and Tamsyn get transported into the past, to the Yuletide Celebration of 1957. They must work together to get back to the present while facing off with the origins of notorious Tywyll House’s haunting.…oh, and the fact that somewhere between the 1st mistletoe meeting and the bonfire, they might be falling in love.
Bowen Penhallow finally gets his time to shine. I love this reclusive mountain man.
I absolutely loved the set up of this book! The mysterious and powerful magical item, a ghost asking for a final favor, "workplace" romantic tension, TIME TRAVEL. UGH! So much to love. And I DID NOT see that ending coming.
I thought these two were so fun and this book was a great addition to the series. I wish we had a little more time with the Jones cousins, but I enjoyed their appearances.
I would also classify this as more of a holiday romance versus a fall romance like I've heard it advertised as.

The Wedding Witch departs from whimsical Halloween as a third character I had come to expect of The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse. The Wedding Witch does not depart from the rushed conclusion, irrationally easy resolutions, and gaping plot holes at the end. I had expected Bowen's story to be a bit different than the other brothers since he did not live near them, nor did he seem to interact with society as often. The issue with Declan serving as the reason Bowen needed to engage Tamlyn's services held promise, but every conflict and issue was wrapped up in a moment so quick that I could have sneezed and missed it. The first book was the best of the series, and this one feels entirely skippable.

OK, honestly? It’s a 5-star read for what it is. Like, is it the most amazing book ever? No. But is it fun? Yes.
I barely remember the previous 2 books in the series, but I know I liked them well enough. I got the third entry from NetGalley so I was able to read it in the early part of Spooky Szn (where I alternate horror with witch rom coms).
I expected the light-and-airy, no-stakes witchy rom com that I got. Yeah, OK, it takes place over Christmas — but it’s about witches so it still counts.
There are some rom coms that really have the relationship as the focus and there are others where it’s more like a movie version of a rom com, where things happen and oh yeah also this couple happens to fall in love. This is the latter. So don’t look for a lot of depth and development, is what I’m saying. But if you want fun, low-stakes, Spoozy Szn vibes, do it. This author excels at that.

A cute and fast paced read featuring a reclusive grumpy witch and a sharp-tongued artifact finder with PLENTY of banter and cute inner dialog.
Pros: #1- Very seasonal. At first, I was confused if it was a fall or winter book, but it still delivered on the cozy seasonal vibes.
#2-Dialog between the two MCs is actually fairly well written and not cringey.
#3- One of the few books that doesn't paint cultural differences in a (mean) joking light. (Ie. "That's just how those AMERICANS are") I'm not even American myself but jokes like that grind my gears.
A few cons: #1 -The main characters went from attraction to love VERY quickly. While it wasn't ista-love there also wasn't a lot of character development for me to believe the feelings are real.
#2- Bowen mentioned that every time he goes on a "rant" about something he finds interesting peoples' eyes glaze over and he can tell they are bored. I really hoped that the FMC would be the one person who loves that about him and listens to his rants but aside from like 1 or 2 times she also cuts him off or calls him a nerd for going on a rant about something he is passionate about.
Thank you to NetGalley, Avon and Harper Voyager, and Erin Sterling for access to this e-Arc in exchange for an honest review.

Our favorite witchy brothers are back - except now it’s Bowen’s story.
Short Synopsis:
Tamsyn is a procurer of magical items and Bowen is her customer. Their paths (and a little bit of time traveling) lead them a wedding of Bowen’s grandparents where they’re in charge of saving the day.
My Thoughts:
This whole series is such a “just vibes” series. It’s witchy, and magical, a touch cheesy and unbelievable but so much fun. The banter was excellent. And I adored seeing more Bowen.

Definitely a 5 star read! It’s cozy, atmospheric, magical and dreamy. The main characters are so funny in their different ways and their story is unique from the first few in this series. The book is well written, the pacing is spot on. I would read anything by this author!

**Book Review: *The Wedding Witch* by Erin Sterling**
*The Wedding Witch* by Erin Sterling is a delightful mix of romance, magic, and humor that whisks readers away to a charming world of witches, weddings, and a little chaos. Known for her witty and enchanting storytelling, Sterling delivers yet another spellbinding novel filled with lovable characters and magical mishaps.
The story centers around Tessa Brooks, a small-town witch who specializes in casting love spells and helping couples tie the knot—literally and magically. As the town’s go-to wedding witch, Tessa’s life is full of love…for others. But when her former flame, Caleb Morgan, returns to town as a guest at one of her most important weddings of the year, sparks fly, and not all of them are magical. Tessa must navigate her lingering feelings for Caleb, all while managing a series of magical accidents that threaten to ruin the wedding and the lives of everyone involved.
Sterling excels at creating relatable, fun characters who feel like old friends by the time you’re halfway through the book. Tessa is witty, warm, and endearing, juggling her magical duties with real-life emotions that make her journey both heartwarming and humorous. Caleb, with his roguish charm and complicated history with Tessa, adds just the right amount of romantic tension, and their chemistry is undeniable. The push-and-pull dynamic between them makes for a swoon-worthy slow burn, with plenty of magical twists along the way.
The world-building in *The Wedding Witch* is charming, set in a cozy, witchy town where magic is just part of everyday life. Sterling adds whimsical touches to the setting that make the story feel immersive—enchanted cakes, love potions, and talking cats are just a few of the delightful elements that keep the magic light and fun. Despite the supernatural elements, the novel's emotional core remains grounded in real-life themes of love, forgiveness, and second chances.
Sterling’s signature blend of humor and heart shines throughout the novel. The dialogue is snappy and clever, with laugh-out-loud moments that balance the romantic tension and emotional beats. The pacing is light and breezy, making it a perfect feel-good read, especially for fans of contemporary romance with a sprinkle of magic.
*The Wedding Witch* is a delightful escape, full of charm and wit, with a satisfying romance at its center. Sterling has crafted a magical world where love is both unpredictable and undeniable, reminding readers that even with a little magic, the journey to true love is never straightforward. Perfect for fans of romantic comedies with a dash of the supernatural, this novel will leave you grinning long after the last page.

I absolutely loved the Kiss Curse and the whole series has been charming little fall reads. Which makes me really upset that this one didn’t do it for me. It was all very rushed and not very thought out. Plus it wasn’t Halloween-y. It won’t stop me from reading another of her books though, the other two still have me as a fan.

Liked this better than the second! Had good pace and great banter. Would recommend series to friends and family!

I did really enjoy the finale to the Penhallow brothers' series. Bowen, the last Penhallow brother not in a committed serious relationship, ties himself to working exclusively with Tamsyn, a witch artifact hunter. Through this story, they must time travel to fix something in the past to make sure the present doesn't stand as is for a particular bride to be, Bowen's best friend Declan's former fiancé.
Quick short read. I enjoyed the plot and the resolution; I mean we all know how romances typically seem to end. I did like Bowen and Tamsyn's characters. This book has the witchy vibes as well as a slight nod to Christmas wedding themes. I would definitely say read this if you've already read The Ex-Hex and The Kiss Curse. If you haven't, I would absolutely recommend reading them all, especially during the fall/ October month!

It's been a while, but boy do I have some *belated* Book Reviews coming your way:
The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling was the third book in The Ex Hex series, and while the longest wait- was my least favorite.
I've said it 1,000 times but I don't like 🕰 time travel plots, and this book had super likable leads, but felt very awkward- no hurdles to come together, no pining-- they just sort of got there right away and it did not compare to the waiting with baited breath of the sister novels to get to the good parts.
Overall, super fun / super cute / super FAST 🚀 read which I enjoyed, and I highly recommend reading the entire series since you can't go wrong.
The side characters were very fun, as they always are in Erin's books, and Sir Purrcival 🐈 was back which is a huge win for the talking cat community girls. While the holiday in this is Yule 🎄, and not Halloween 👻, I didn't feel weird reading this in September so picking this up anytime between publication 10/08/24 and through New Year's would be a fun ride.
