wonderful recap of the previous books! And I needed it because of the time since I read the second book and this. Seeing little glimpses of couples from previous books was nice.

It was a very cozy witchy book. One I would recommend reading around Yule time.

The plot was a little too ambiguous for me. The angst and high stakes were only expressed in spicy moments rather than plot moving ground work. It made it a fun time, so long as you didn’t judge them for their lack of common sense and desperation to fix the problem.

The relationship was emotionally established very early on, making it an insta-love.

There is something about the FMC finishing the MMC’s sentences in a know it all kind of way that annoyed me.

Thank you NetGalley and Avon Harper Voyager for an eARC of this book. All opinions are my own.

I loved The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse, this series is a perfect halloween-y book and this book is a great addition to the series. I was so glad to have received the eARC and be back with the Penhallow brothers again. Bowen and Tamsyn are hilarious together and their tension is impossible to ignore. This book is oozing magical realism, a magical wedding with a haunting ex and a dose of time travel? What more could you ask for in a Halloween book? It’s got so many perfect tropes, he falls first, one bed, cute nicknames and no third act! It also shows the importance of family and living everyday as if it’s your last day on earth cause in this instance it very well could be!

Thank you to NetGallery and Harper Collins for the eARC in return for an honest review. Pub date is October 15th, perfect time for Halloween!

I absolutely adored the first two books, "The Ex Hex" and "The Kiss Curse" both gave off really cozy and comfy fall vibes. I was a little confused on whether this was supposed to be a "fall" book or a "Christmas" book. However, the book was still cute and I am so happy to see that another Penhallow brother got his story.

This story follows Bowen Penhallow and Tamsyn, who was featured in book one. Bowen is one of the Penhallow witches where Tamsyn is human. Tamsyn works for Bowen trying to find special artifacts or pieces that hold magic for him. However, he only wants her to work for him and him exclusively. When Tamsyn decides to take "one last job" for herself she walks into more than she can handle. To make matters worse, Bowen is there. While fighting to get their hands on the special artifact they came there for, they are both transported back into time and figure out that the only way back is to change whatever needs fixed.

✨Witch x Human
✨Time Travel
✨One Bed Trope
✨Boss x Employee
✨Grumps x Sunshine

In this book, I felt that the relationship was underdeveloped. We went from nothing to everything with no build-up in the middle. I did love the banter between the two main characters and I will say that I feel this one had more spice to it then the first two did. Overall, I enjoyed the first two more but this was still a enjoyable, fun, and fast read. I did enjoy the "time-travel" concept they included into this one, but it can be cliche if not done correctly.

Thank you to NetGalley, Avon and Harper Voyager, and Erin Sterling for access to this e-Arc in exchange for an honest review.

This is a good following of the last two books. I love the witch vibes and the banter between Tamsyn and Bowen. I really enjoy books that feel cozy and include magic!

In this third installment for this series, I must admit this wasn't my favorite. I can't exactly pin-point what I didn't love, just to say that by the end I was skimming a bit to find out the ending.

A nice wrap up of the Penhallow romances! Can't say it was my favorite of the three, but it was still thoroughly enjoyable and a book I would recommend to any rom-com fan.

Bowen and Tamsyn are a fun couple, enjoyable to read with their banter and grumpy x sunshine vibes. It was a fun, pleasant surprise to throw in Tamsyn as Bowen's love interest after her previous interactions in The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse, but I do believe setting her and Bowen in a different location than our usual small town missed an opportunity for more of those interactions.

That being said, the change of pace in both Bowen and Tamsyn's lifestyles to the usual protagonists opened up a fun new avenue of magic and sparked introductions to some new witchy characters. While I found the overall plot to be lacking in excitement, I was still grateful for the happy ending all around.

This was such a fun and lighthearted story! Definitely think this would be great for those cozy winter evening reads with some cookies on the side. I love that the characters are basically polar opposites of each other, and Tamsyn is such a fun, plucky, heroine. I feel like time travel plots can sometimes be iffy for me personally, but I feel like Sterling executed this pretty well! I do feel like the relationship between Bowen and Tamsyn needed some more depth beyond just banter, but they were good fun together besides that. I also think that enjoyment of the story might be heightened if you read the other books in the series first, as those characters make a reappearance at the beginning! But also they're not central to the plot so it's fine if you don't. Overall, this was a enjoyable read for me and I'd like to thank NetGalley and the publishers for allowing me to access an early copy of this book!

I love this witchy series so much and if this is the last book we get on this world of Grave’s Glen and the Penhallow brothers, I’m glad we went out on such a high note!

Bowen has been the brother I’ve been most curious about because he’s a recluse that lives in the Welsh mountains and wants to hunt magical objects and be left alone. A dream man, truly. But for every reclusive witch with a beard, there’s a bubbly human woman he pines for in secret. It’s Newton’s like…tenth law or something. Probably? I don’t know physics, actually.

Anyway. Time travel is a favorite trope of mine because how do you get back? What if you get stuck? How are you going to fix what’s messed up? But this is time travel to a creepy Welsh castle in the 50’s when it wasn’t a creepy castle! They’ve got to parent trap his grandparents so he can be, y’know, born! They have to share a bed in said creepy not creepy castle for wibbly wobbly timey wimey travel reasons! It’s Yule in Wales, arguably the most yulish of countries! They bang in a bath tub! What else could you possibly want?

Bowen and Tamsyn are delightful together. A perfect foil for each other and the exact kind of opposites you sigh and go “I wish that was me”. They’re already in love with each other but because of working together situations (Tamsyn) and martyr sensibilities (Bowen), neither will act on it. Catnip. Literal Tori catnip.

And as much as I loved this book (and this whole series), I’ll be the first to tell you, I was a bit disappointed in the ending because it felt a bit rushed and I really really wanted more explanation on how magic resolved two big plot points. But…I also didn’t really care. It’s the holidays and the magic of the season. It doesn’t have to make sense. It just has to warm my holiday dreading heart. And Bowen and Tamsyn delivered. So. Recommended!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for an early copy of this book! This was the perfect start to fall reading for me! A cute, cozy, witchy romance with some magic. I loved the characters and loved their banter and the fun time-traveling adventure they went on. I’m a sucker for anything to do with England so the British banter in this made me giggle. I was a simp for every use of the word “lass” “wee” “innit” and “summat” 😂 and all the cute sayings in Welsh. This was a fun read and I enjoyed myself!

Review posted to Goodreads 9/12/24

In the third installment of The Ex Hex series, The Wedding Witch leans more towards a winter read than an autumn read. If you take a Hallmark movie - predictable, generic, cringe at times - with some magic added to the mix, you get this book. If you're into that, you'll love this! If you're looking for stand-out writing, you won't find that here. The story feels very much like a copy-and-pasted version of dozens of other romance books I've read, but sometimes that's all you need. The Yuletide wedding is a fun backdrop for the story and a it's a fast-paced, easy read, but overall forgettable. I liked The Ex Hex a little more (the fall vibes were immaculate in that book), but also didn't find it to be a particular stand-out book.

My rating: 3.5⭐️
Thank you for the ARC!

A long awaited third installment of this series!! I have been waiting for over two years to read this book, and I absolutely adored the first and second so when I received this book as an arc I quite literally screamed. For everyone that loved the first two books in the series, you will also love this one and it is absolutely be worth the wait

I have loved this series so much! I love all things witchy. I think this is a fun book that is witchy plus holiday vibes and also a heist! I think a lot of people will enjoy it.

Loved this!

Witchy Christmas & time travel? Count me in! I have not read the previous books in the series yet but when I saw this was witchy Christmas vibes & time travel I knew I wanted to pick this up.

This was so entertaining and fun! Tamsyn & Bowen were the perfect comedic duo. Bowen is so gone for Tamsyn and I do love a man down bad for his lady. He was easy to root for and I couldn’t wait for him to win Tamsyn’s heart. Tamsyn was hilarious. I couldn’t get enough of her wit and dialogue. Very quotable! Their romance is sweet and romantic. I loved these two together.

I also really liked the atmosphere with the house and holiday theme. Delivered on the witchy vibes for sure!

Loved this one & would recommend it even if you haven’t read the previous books (going to do that pronto!).

Erin Sterling always slaps so hard.

Bowen was sooo not my man. But this book made me think a lot about how friendships can spark romance between unlikely people.

Fun read—I liked it way better than the second book in the series. Rhys and Violet’s story is still OP tho.

The time-travel plot was a little annoying but not too terrible. It was tough to deal with the fact that people didn’t retain their memories etc. Also this one was less spell-casty than the previous two.

Overall, I liked the style. I disliked the plot and characters but they weren’t too too bad.

You should read this. BUT you should definitely read the other two first.

This was such a cute story! The chemistry was sizzling and the banter was absolutely delightful. It moved very quickly and my only complaint is that it was over so quickly cause I loved the characters and would have loved to see more of them. However, what we did get was an absolute delight and I definitely recommend this steamy holiday romance!

This was a sweet third book in the Ex Hex series. I stuck this immediately on my TBR list after seeing Bowen Penhallow would finally be getting his own book.

I enjoyed this book for its low-angst-friends-to-lovers story in the romance department. It was angsty in the "how are they going to wrap up this problem with so little book left?!" department.

The ending felt a little rushed, but not enough so to detract from my reading experience.

Thank you to Netgalley for an advanced copy of this book.

Loved it! I have read the first 2 in the series before and this one is my favorite. I honestly didn't expect the twist. It was such a comfy read.

I've been anticipating Bowen's book since he was mentioned in the first book and it did not disappoint. Bowen and Tamsyn had sparks flying from the first moment we met them in this grumpy-sunshine romance. This book had an underlying mystery which engaged me from the start (although I will say the ending quickly wrapped up/fixed everything). The reader got to see the relationship build over the year they worked together through the texts/emails which I loved. Definitely a good way to spend an evening.

The Wedding Witch, by Erin Sterling, is the third novel of a series, of which I have not (yet) read the previous ones.  I dove in without realizing and although I thoroughly enjoyed it as a stand-alone, I recommend you read the others first.  You will want to read them and may as well read them in order. It is a cute, quick, "witchy" read with likable characters and laughable moments.  I easily read it in an afternoon.
Thanks, NetGalley and the publisher, for providing me with the ARC ebook I read and reviewed. All opinions are my own.

I absolutely loved the first two books in this series. I was a little nervous about this one because how could it live up to the past two books…. This series just keeps getting better. This was a super fun and witchy book with so many adventures.

Thank you NetGalley and Avon & Harper Voyager for the arc of this book.
