I decided to read this book without ever reading the blurb so I was going in blind. I'm glad I did. What I thought would be another quirky witch mystery turned out to be so much more. Bowen is a witch who is on the lookout for a magical artifact that is strong enough to figure out the mystery of his best friends ghost. When he hires Tamsyn to procure magical items to help him in his search sparks fly. I love their relationship in this book, they start out as friends but their relationship strengthens when they end up back in time when a spell goes wrong. I love how Bowen is the strong and silent type but when it comes to Tamsyn he is all in.

They are the perfect kickoff to spooky season with the witches and mystery and such. I thought that this one was an interesting concept compared to the others, and I found myself hoping for glimpses of the couples from the other books. Time travel, mystery and romance... what more could you ask for?!

Ugh. THIS BOOK. I just absolutely adore this series! I’m actually struggling to find the words for this book. I loved it so unbelievably much. This book was so stinkin cute and cozy, it just felt like a warm hug! The banter in this book was amazing. I seriously don’t have a single negative thing to say. This book is the ultimate witchy rom-com and I *think* this might be my favorite book in the series! But as I said before, I truly just adore this series so much. I’ve loved getting to know each Penhallow brother and following along on their love journeys! I never want this series to end. I’m hoping the boys end up having some distant cousin or maybe a long lost brother and we’ll continue to have these books forever. Now, where can I find myself a witchy Welsh man???????

This book was so much fun!!!! I think Tamsyn and Bowen are my FAVES!!! Tamsyn was so hilarious and sassy and I just loved their banter so much!!! This was such a fun story and it was too dang cute!!! I love this series and the lovely world it’s in!!!

4.5 stars for the third (and final?) installment of the Ex Hex series! This book follows the third Penhallow brother, Bowen, and the human who procures magical objects for him - Tamsyn. Bowen is a loner, studying magic from a remote mountain in Wales. Tamsyn is a human who specializes in acquiring magical objects for her clients, which is what brings her to Bowen. And so ensues a working relationship turned mutual crush, the witchy wedding weekend of Bowen’s ghost friend’s ex fiancée, time travel, and one bed shenanigans.

The way I SCREECHED when I got this ARC!! I’ve loved this series so much, and this book is no exception. The Kiss Curse is still my fave, but this was so much fun. I loved the banter between Tamsyn and Bowen and the different setting. I think this book not being set in Graves Glen let Tamsyn and Bowen’s story blossom. And I loved the witchy Christmas vibes! Also a switch up from the previous books that worked so well.

3.5⭐️ I love this series they’re just so comfy, short and cute. And I can say the first and this one are my favorites. In any moment I felt like losing interest and that was something I missed. Loved the dynamic between both mcs even if there were many loopholes and things left without explanations or putting more depth in them

I love this series. This one definitely had some gaps and weird jumps (like the plot felt like it didn’t really start until about 40% in and then was rushed). However, it made me so happy to have so many beloved characters back and I truly enjoyed this one. Very spicy and a great christmasy witch book, which was a unique combo!

While the connection between Bowen Penhallow and Tamsyn Bligh is electric, Tamsyn knows better than to get involved with a client of her business obtaining magical items. Especially when that client is a witch. But, when a spell gone wrong sends the two half a century in the past, they must work together to find their way back home…and confront their feelings along the way.

The Penhallow brothers are back, and this time, it’s Bowen’s turn to fall in love! I’ll admit, in the preceding two books of The Ex Hex series, I wasn’t Bowen’s biggest fan. He was gruff, often to the point of being rude. In The Wedding Witch, however, Erin Sterling pulls back the curtain to show us why Bowen is the way he is. Getting into Bowen’s head allowed us to see a new side of him—in many ways, he felt like a completely different character than the man that had made cameos in the other two books, I think, because we were able to see the world through his eyes instead of seeing him simply through everyone else’s. I think many other characters, including his brothers, wrote him off as a loner and didn’t look to peel back his layers; this book showed that there is so much more to Bowen. Spunky, gregarious Tamsyn was the perfect love interest because she highlighted the parts of Bowen’s character that previously went unnoticed, such as his loyalty, capacity for love, and thoughtfulness. Watching her and Bowen stumble into love was endearing and often hilarious. The plot moved at an enjoyable pace, and I liked the time travel aspect a lot more than I thought I would, as someone who shies away from historical fiction. While this was a lighthearted read, Sterling delivered important messages related to grief, love, and fate, which was so well done. This is a great read to get you ready for Spooky Season, or save it for the Christmas holidays and celebrate Yule with the Penhallows!

I randomly picked up book one in this series because it was a BOTM pick years ago and since have continued with the series!! The problem is there is so much time between books that I forget the characters and what happened so going into the 3rd one, I had to stop many times and think who is this & why are they important. I loved the concept of this book, the time travel element was super fun and unique BUT because it took place in a different time, I didn’t get to see the Penhallow brothers together which sucked. I loved the dynamic family in books 1/2 so I missed that in this one. I also did not understand the time travel back element at all. I wish the author would’ve explained it more especially with *SPOILER ALERT* Declan coming back. I feel like that skipped right over and I wanted to understand why & what happened… Overall I do enjoy this universe and I loved the romance in this book. The spice level was perfect!! Overall I would recommend this series & now that all the Penhallow brothers are happy what’s next…. (maybe a Declan book to explain everything?¿ lol)

Fun light witchy romance? Yes please! This was a fun and flirty read and is perfect for the “witching” season in October. I love the third installment in this Erie’s but think the at it works best if you read all of them instead of jumping in on this read. Fun and flirty with a little spice and spells!

The Wedding Witch is an adorable, sassy, witchy romance with a Christmas (sorry, Yule) setting and a splash of time travel. I adored it, and would recommend to anybody looking for a wintery supernatural love story!

The Wedding Witch follows the third Penhallow brother, Bowen who was on a quest to right a wrong from his college days. His search for a solution led him to the human magical artifacts dealer - Tamsyn Bligh who he hires in an exclusive contract to procure needed magical items on the deal she only work for him. During Yule things go awry when Tamsyn decides to take one last gig that pays grotesquely and Bowen makes a promise to a friend and they end up in the same castle for Yule. It's filled with love, seasonal treats, and a bit of time travel.

This was really cute - out of the Penhallow siblings stories Bowen is definitely more my type - but this wasn't as strong of a story as the previous two. The banter was barely there - the decisions felt rushed - and while there were many facets of the story that eventually wove together by the end - it didn't feel connected. The "why" for one of the resolutions at the end was simply "who knows" and I found that frustrating. For as big of a role as it played, it was written off as "eh, dunno" and everyone moved on from that pretty quickly. I loved all the characters in this one - the little treats of previous main characters from the first two books in the series, and how everyone moved forward in life together.

The Wedding Witch is Erin Sterling's newest installment in her Graves Glen series. It follows the last Penhallow brother, Bowen, as he falls in love with his coworker/acquisitor, Tamsyn. They're at a wedding at a manor in Wales when all goes wrong and they're somehow transported back to 1957 and the wedding of Bowen's grandparents. As they try to figure out how to return to the present, Tamsyn and Bowen finally reveal the feelings they've kept hidden for each other and hope they can live a happy ever after.

I liked the other two books in this series but this one is my least favorite. I thought it'd be another fun, silly, sometimes cringy rom com but the time travel element kept taking me out of the story. Assumptions ran rampant and everyone just kinda winged it when it came to how they traveled to the past and what would work to return to the present. And when they got back to 2024, all the problems that were presented at the beginning of the book were just magically solved without any explanation! Yeah, they're witches but somehow travelling back in time, muddling around without a real plan and unfathomably returning solved everything? I know library patrons will still enjoy this so I'd recommend for readers who liked the first two Graves Glen books but otherwise wouldn't recommend.

I loved this. It was great to be back in Graves Glen (sort of?) and was such a fast paced and fun, quick read! I need more of this family though.

I think this might be my favorite book in the series, and I really hope it's not the last! There's something captivating about Bowen's broody, serious nature paired with Tamsyn's confident, carefree attitude. I'm so glad Tamsyn wasn't portrayed as the usual upbeat character—she had depth and a strong sense of independence. Also, the chemistry between them was off the charts! I would love to see more of Bowen and Tamsyn in Graves Glen. It would be such a treat to see them there together. Rating a 4 here, but it's a 4.5 for me.

This book follows Bowen, the third Penhallow brother and Tamsyn Bligh. We are first introduced to the FMC in “The Ex Hex”, so it’s exciting that she comes back. As far as Bowen, he doesn’t make many appearance in the first 2 books and we mostly know that he is a loner with a beard.

This is a very quick read and the elements I listened above are what I enjoyed of the book. The gma is that witch. Period. Shoutout to the Below the Deck mention. The actual spice in short, but thoughts are not.

I didn’t like simplicity/easiness of how it all just worked out. I also wish readers got more of their love before they traveled back in time. I think if the chapters had the POV titled would have been nice even though it’s not in first person. I didn’t absolutely love Tamysn’s inner monologue and a few thoughts felts repetitive.

I would say this book felt less spooky, despite there being ghosts, but if you celebrate Yule this is for you. I love interconnected love stories, so if you read the first 2 you gotta read about the last brother.

This was so so cute! My first Erin Sterling book, but definitely not my last. The Christmas atmosphere was perfect and with the setting and the time travel, this was a fun, festive read! Loved the way Sterling went about it too, it definitely just felt like a romance book with magical realism rather than more of a fantasy read. In typical Erin Sterling fashion, this was a cute romance with a great atmosphere that will get you in the mood for the holidays. The romance was cute, witty, and steamy. I loved the haunted house setting and the time travel aspect. This book is like a witchy Hallmark movie (with a little bit of spice) that will leave you feeling warm and cozy.

I love this series and was so excited that she decided to do a Christmas version. The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse have been some of my favorite fall reads and I have recommended them quite frequently on my BookTok account. I am so excited to be able to recommend The Wedding Witch for the upcoming holiday season.

The Wedding Witch was my first Penhallow book, and I was pleasantly surprised! I wasn’t sure how the witchy rom-com thing would play out, but it was so much fun!

Bowen Penhallow is a Welsh mountain man who also happens to be a witch. Tamsyn Bligh is an American who hunts down and sells magical items. The two enter into a business relationship, and sparks begin to fly. Coincidentally, they both end up as guests at the same wedding. Magical problems abound, they wind up being sent back in time, and they have to work together to get back to 2024. Will they succeed?

This was such a cute, quick read! I loved the characters and the setting so much. I’m also a sucker for the only one bed trope! I wish there’d been a little bit more background on the magic aspect- what kinds of powers do the witches have? How does it all work? I also thought the time travel thing was a little messy and confusing at times. This was a great rom-com and I definitely plan to go back and read the first two books!
