The Wedding Witch is Erin Sterling's newest installment in her Graves Glen series. It follows the last Penhallow brother, Bowen, as he falls in love with his coworker/acquisitor, Tamsyn. They're at a wedding at a manor in Wales when all goes wrong and they're somehow transported back to 1957 and the wedding of Bowen's grandparents. As they try to figure out how to return to the present, Tamsyn and Bowen finally reveal the feelings they've kept hidden for each other and hope they can live a happy ever after.
I liked the other two books in this series but this one is my least favorite. I thought it'd be another fun, silly, sometimes cringy rom com but the time travel element kept taking me out of the story. Assumptions ran rampant and everyone just kinda winged it when it came to how they traveled to the past and what would work to return to the present. And when they got back to 2024, all the problems that were presented at the beginning of the book were just magically solved without any explanation! Yeah, they're witches but somehow travelling back in time, muddling around without a real plan and unfathomably returning solved everything? I know library patrons will still enjoy this so I'd recommend for readers who liked the first two Graves Glen books but otherwise wouldn't recommend.
Thank you to NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyage publishers for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I loved this. It was great to be back in Graves Glen (sort of?) and was such a fast paced and fun, quick read! I need more of this family though.

I think this might be my favorite book in the series, and I really hope it's not the last! There's something captivating about Bowen's broody, serious nature paired with Tamsyn's confident, carefree attitude. I'm so glad Tamsyn wasn't portrayed as the usual upbeat character—she had depth and a strong sense of independence. Also, the chemistry between them was off the charts! I would love to see more of Bowen and Tamsyn in Graves Glen. It would be such a treat to see them there together. Rating a 4 here, but it's a 4.5 for me.

This book follows Bowen, the third Penhallow brother and Tamsyn Bligh. We are first introduced to the FMC in “The Ex Hex”, so it’s exciting that she comes back. As far as Bowen, he doesn’t make many appearance in the first 2 books and we mostly know that he is a loner with a beard.
What you can find in this book:
- Time travel - One bed - Yapper-Listener - Witch- Human - Boss- Employee - Opposites Attract - Welsh Nicknames -Parent Trap
This is a very quick read and the elements I listened above are what I enjoyed of the book. The gma is that witch. Period. Shoutout to the Below the Deck mention. The actual spice in short, but thoughts are not.
I didn’t like simplicity/easiness of how it all just worked out. I also wish readers got more of their love before they traveled back in time. I think if the chapters had the POV titled would have been nice even though it’s not in first person. I didn’t absolutely love Tamysn’s inner monologue and a few thoughts felts repetitive.
I would say this book felt less spooky, despite there being ghosts, but if you celebrate Yule this is for you. I love interconnected love stories, so if you read the first 2 you gotta read about the last brother.
Thank you Avon and Harper Voyager for providing this book for review consideration via Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

a very enjoyable and quick read for the christmas season! full of tension, romance and a fun plot to follow with ghosts and magic. 3.5 stars!

This was so so cute! My first Erin Sterling book, but definitely not my last. The Christmas atmosphere was perfect and with the setting and the time travel, this was a fun, festive read! Loved the way Sterling went about it too, it definitely just felt like a romance book with magical realism rather than more of a fantasy read. The chemistry between the main characters was also palpable and I just adored this book. Thank you to Netgalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

In typical Erin Sterling fashion, this was a cute romance with a great atmosphere that will get you in the mood for the holidays. The romance was cute, witty, and steamy. I loved the haunted house setting and the time travel aspect. This book is like a witchy Hallmark movie (with a little bit of spice) that will leave you feeling warm and cozy.
I love this series and was so excited that she decided to do a Christmas version. The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse have been some of my favorite fall reads and I have recommended them quite frequently on my BookTok account. I am so excited to be able to recommend The Wedding Witch for the upcoming holiday season.
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Avon for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

The Wedding Witch was my first Penhallow book, and I was pleasantly surprised! I wasn’t sure how the witchy rom-com thing would play out, but it was so much fun!
Bowen Penhallow is a Welsh mountain man who also happens to be a witch. Tamsyn Bligh is an American who hunts down and sells magical items. The two enter into a business relationship, and sparks begin to fly. Coincidentally, they both end up as guests at the same wedding. Magical problems abound, they wind up being sent back in time, and they have to work together to get back to 2024. Will they succeed?
This was such a cute, quick read! I loved the characters and the setting so much. I’m also a sucker for the only one bed trope! I wish there’d been a little bit more background on the magic aspect- what kinds of powers do the witches have? How does it all work? I also thought the time travel thing was a little messy and confusing at times. This was a great rom-com and I definitely plan to go back and read the first two books!

The Wedding Witch is a fun and creative addition to the Ex Hex universe! I love a creative quirky romcom, and Erin Sterling has a talent for mixing worldbuilding with classic romcom tropes.
Time travel plot lines can easily go awry, but I think Sterling did a nice job here of focusing on the characters and using the time travel to create both comedic moments and a sense of mystery.
If I have one complaint about this book, it’s that the chemistry between the two leads feels lacking in comparison to the first two books in the series. The spice was spicing, but I wasn’t feeling the charm as deeply as with the other characters. Still the book was well written and enjoyable, and I’ll be coming back for more of this author’s work!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an eArc for me to read and review!

The Wedding Witch is a magical, festive delight! Bowen Penhallow, the brooding loner with a talent for dark magic, and Tamsyn Bligh, the savvy human with a penchant for mischief, make for an irresistible pairing. Their banter is sharp, their chemistry sizzles, and the unexpected trip to the Yuletide past adds a thrilling layer of mystery and fun. The time travel twist brings a nostalgic charm to the story, The blend of romance, magic, and a dash of spooky vibes makes this an enchanting holiday read.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

Witches...check. Time travel...check. Human/ Warlock romance...check. Good banter...check. A dusting of spice...check. Paranormal-ish best mate...check.
This book was a nice cozy read. I have wanted to read something from Erin Sterling since I read a review of The Ex Hex, but my TBR pile would not allow it. This book has made me order the first 2 books in this series. It is beautifully written and moved at a good pace. When Bowen and Tamsyn meet up at a bar to make a business transaction, they seem to fall in love instantly. The two of them attend a wedding to retrieve a broach that is said to be worth one million dollars and somehow they get spelled and travel through time.
This book wasn't spooky witchy, it was more The Good Witch witchy. Short, sweet, and cozy.
Thank you Netgalley, Avon and Harper Collins Voyager Publishing, and Erin Sterling for this eARC of The Wedding Witch. I am voluntarily giving my honest review.

Sterling and the Penhallows never miss! Bowen and Tamsyn have a wonderful story and I loved learning more about the penhallow family!

I received an advance reader copy from NetGalley.
Sooooo excited for book three, brother 3 of the Ex Hex fam. Rough and gruff Bowen Penhallow has taken hermit to the extreme. He's happiest in his far-flung cottage where he can go days without seeing another soul. Until he begins working with Tamsyn Bligh. Tamsyn works to acquire magical objects (and we have seen her before). Bowen has been working with Tamsyn on a project close to his heart, helping his friend Declan who is a ghost. They come together at a country house over Yule with Tamsyn retrieving a magical object and Bowen attending a wedding. But a spell gone awry has both stuck in 1957 trying to set something right. Will they make it home for their own happily ever after?
A fast-paced book that has our MCs falling equally hard but trying to respect boundaries. One or two hot scenes when they finally give up the ghost (pun -- sorry) of their reservations. Low stakes with swoony hearts.

Erin Sterling’s The Wedding Witch is a delightful journey through magic, romance, and mystery, set against the misty allure of the Welsh countryside. The story follows the reclusive Bowen Penhallow and the resourceful Tamsyn Bligh as they navigate a Yuletide wedding and an unexpected time-travel twist that plunges them into the 1950s. Their chemistry is palpable, and Sterling’s intricate plotting and vivid world-building make this book a captivating read. I thoroughly enjoyed The Wedding Witch for its engaging blend of enchantment and romance, and it proved to be an excellent and satisfying read.

I adore the Penhallow brothers, but surly bearded Bowen is my favorite of the trio. This magical rom-com series is the perfect start to magical witchy reads this fall!! And while you’ll get added context and fun cameos from the couples in Books 1 and 2, you do not have to read them in order. I loved that this book takes place at a Welsh estate over the Yule holiday for a wedding, blending magic and the holiday season! Bowen and Tasmyn have been working together for over a year when a search for a powerful artifact has then accidentally slipping back in time. They must solve the mystery while posing as a married couple in order to return to 2024.
✨Witty text exchanges
✨Forbidden (he's her boss) romance
✨Only one bed
✨Time travel
✨He’s ‘down bad’ for her
✨Bathroom mirror scene 🥵

4.5 ⭐️
This was such a wholesome fast christmas read I loved it. Erin never disappoints and this book is once again a proof of that. Smut is not too much but still present, witchy vibes are unmatched, banter is so funny and sexy and the plot just works so well. I was really into it, loved the whole time travelling bit and the 50s vibes. Definitely definitely recommend it!!

Just in time for Halloween, Erin Sterling hits with another in the Ex Hex series, Witch Wedding. Bowen Penhallow, the third brother, needs help finding a cure for a spell gone wrong. One that left his best friend Declan stuck in a region between life and death. In order to find the cure, Bowen hires Tamsyn Bligh to acquire magical items.
I really enjoyed the first two books of this series and this one was good too but it lost some of the magical whimsical feels for me. The love story fell flat in places and I just didn’t connect to their relationship. That being said, I did enjoy the book and gave it 3 stars.
Thank you Netgalley for sharing with me an advanced copy for my honest review.

This book is really cute!! I felt like it had a little bit of a slower beginning with those first few chapters, but once the main plot took hold, I was all in. I did enjoy the prologue though, even though it was on the longer side.
The main couple is spunky and fighting their attraction for each other. It's a great working partnership to lovers kind of romance. There is *gasp* one bed, and the witchy winter rom com vibes are perfection.
There are ghosts and intrigue and time traveling and so much sweet feet kicking and giggling like a school girl scenes. This book was just fun.
Content: strong language, explicit s*x
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the advanced reader copy of this book. This review is voluntarily written and the thoughts and opinions contained in this review are my own.

This story was so cozy and sweet, filled with everything I love in Halloween. Ghosts, creepy old houses and now- time travel. I loved reading both Bowen's and Tamsyn's point of view and how they quickly fell for each other while trying to figure out how to best Parent Trap their situation. The story had fantastical elements and everything I love in a fall read. Super sweet!

The Wedding Witch is a wonderful fall season read perfect for spooky season and readers that enjoy witches, spells, poison, family drama and SPICY romance! Erin Sterling wins Halloween again. I saved this book for after Labor Day and it did not disappoint. I immediately dove into this holiday feel good story which follows the Pennhallow and Meredith witch families and has a sprinkle of real humans in there too.
I found myself smiling throughout this entire novel, I just loved the theme, the characters and the ending. My only critique would be about the character development. I loved. each character so much, I just wanted more. More background, more stories and more pages. Hopefully the author will write more of these because I will for sure be lining up to read another holiday hit.
