This book was so cute and cozy! I loved the fun banter and the more slow burn of their relationship. Both of the characters had a habit of denying their feelings but I was glad it was resolved in a way that was very different than I expected it to be. I enjoyed the setting and I laughed out loud at several parts. There was just enough action to keep me guessing which helped the pacing. I will absolutely be recommending this book to anyone I can.

This series is just good craic. Literally just a good time. I think book one will always be my favorite but I will dive into Graves Glen whenever the author writes more

Oh I absolutely loved this story! Time travel magic and getting stuck in a time before you were born?! Talk about stressful, but I enjoyed the pace of the story and how you truly get sucked back into the world Sterling created in this series.

•I loved Tamsyn and Bowen right from the start! They have the best text and email banter.
•No spoilers, but the job that Tamsyn took? I would want to take it too!
•The chemistry is off the charts, and I love what it adds to their overall story.
•There were multiple twists to the story that I did not see coming!

The Wedding Witch was kindly provided as an ARC by NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy this wonderful book!
Release Date: 10/8/24
The Wedding Witch was such a fun read. It’s a mystery, a romance, a Christmas book, a Halloween book ( I mean, there are witches, after all) all rolled into one.
I love the evolution of Tamsyn and Bowen’s relationship, and how their quest is interconnected to family and friendship.
I am so glad I read this book! I don’t read a ton of books quite like this one (except in fall, give me all the witchy reads), and I am so happy that I gave this one a shot.

The latest, and possibly last, novel in the Ex Hex series has a few different settings than the previous novels in this series. For one we aren't in Glen Graves anymore and instead of a fall setting it's Yule time. I really enjoyed the different setting for this novel that focused on a love match for recluse Penhallow brother, Bowen. Although he gives off a rough exterior he really is a caring person. If you've read The Ex Hex you'll also remember Tamsyn Bligh who makes a reappearance as a scavenger of magic goods for Bowen. When their meet cute includes a kiss under holly, you know there is only one way for it to go. Instead of a lot of magic present in the book, I liked seeing time travel as the main magical element in the story. Tamsyn isn't a witch unlike Bowen.
It was a sweet romance that is perfect for Halloween or Yule time.
Thank you to Avon Books and Netgalley for review consideration.

Love the Penhallow brothers!! I did absolutely love the 2 main characters however the story line for the 3rd installment of this series was not my favorite. I did love the Christmas aspect and again I just love the characters so it got me through it.

Another hit from the witchy world of Graves Glen!
Bowen enlists Tamsyn to source magical artifacts to help his friend. Through their words, they form a friendship that morphs when they end up at the same wedding and a spell transports them back to 1957. They must work together to return to the present and navigate their new feelings.
Thanks, NetGalley, and Avon and Harper Voyager for this eArc!

The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you NetGalley, Avon and Harper Voyager, and Erin Sterling for this ARC.
This is such a fun, cute, and magical read- perfect for fall or winter! The atmospheric vibes are on point, I could picture the location perfectly and loved the time travel element. The mix of adventure, humor, spice, and mystery is delightful.
It was fun to catch up with the characters from the first two books but it did make me realize I was more invested in those characters than the MC’s in this book. I enjoyed the grumpy sunshine dynamic and the e-mail/text correspondence was fun but the relationship felt more surface level to me.
My favorite aspect was the relationships with Bowen’s family in the past. I enjoyed the quirky humor and the magical elements. Over all this is a quick entertaining read.

3 stars!
Complete disclaimer: I did not know these books were a series, so I may have enjoyed this more if I read the other books first but I thought these were adorable anyhow! I also did not know this was a Christmas book (I know it said Yuletide but I'm clearly just not reading blurbs well lol)
Tamsyn is employed by Bowen Penhallow to procure ancient, magical artifacts for him and gets invited to a Witch Wedding in the mysterious Tywyll house, daring her to pull off a score that will help her finally retire. After a magical spell gone awry later, they find themselves back in 1957 and scrambling to get back home.
I picked up this book thinking "magical spells and witches?! Yay, I'm ready for fall!" only find out it was a Christmas book but it also didn't disappoint! There was magical intrigue, romance and a spicy chapter I was not expecting but welcomed with open arms (wink wink). I love how Tamsyn is so sassy and Bowen is this grumpy "leave me the hell alone" vibes, so their contrasting personalities works well together. I feel like I want to read the rest of the Ex Hex series now.
Thank you Netgalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion!

I enjoyed this witchy romance. There is mystery, humor and enchantment. The characters are charming. This is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone. Of course, reading all of them enriches the adventure.

⭐️: 3/5
I have to be honest, I only have like, the vaguest of vague memories of Tamsyn from The Ex Hex, but it rings a bell. Having just read The Kiss Curse, I did catch the reference that Bowen had an acquirer he worked with, which is obviously her. Any romcom series that has connections across all the books between the main characters already had one check box marked for me!
Bowen was so sweet and nice, but Tamsyn was my least favorite of all the FMCs in the series. I found her a little “I’m a boss bitch look at how badass I am I’m the best” with like, nothing to back up those assertions, which is a FMC trope that always irks me. I also found the teenager-y behavior and internal dialogue of the two MCs just too teenager-y, since it verged on miscommunication, which is the most irritating.
Time travel as a subject is something I always find a bit 🥱 because it never fails to be both too convoluted and under-explained at the same time, with an inevitability of plot holes. There were definitely plot holes here that specifically derived from the time travel, but also from the continuity of the series. I kind of felt that the ending of the second book led us to believe that there would be more of a continuation of the storyline concerning the Penhallow brother’s father, but there was almost no mention of that. So in conclusion, there were plot holes AND loose threads, and that’s just disappointing.
I still enjoyed re-entering this universe and catching up with old characters, but this one was not my fave of the series.
Thank you to @netgalley and @avonbooks for this free eARC for my review!!

This may be my favorite of the three books in this series. Bowen Penhallow has isolated himself to correct a spell gone wrong, so he employs Tamsyn Bligh to help source objects he needs. When one object leads them both to a wedding, they get sent back in time and have to find out why they are there and how to get home.
Like the previous books, I enjoyed that the story was set around Yule instead of Halloween. I found Bowen to be very endearing even when he popped up in the previous books, so I was excited to read his book. I think Tamsyn was a great heroine for Bowen - she's scrappy and resourceful.
A huge thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher, Avon Books for the advanced copy for my honest review.

Erin Sterling's first book in this series was the very first "witchy" book and I absolutely fell in love! Her witty writing {and loveable characters and story lines} always leave me wanting more! This third installment of the series is a hit! You can read this book as a standalone novel {but I think it's more fun if you read the others first} It's charming, spicy, and entertaining!

Third installment in the Graves Glen series, but can be read as a stand-alone. Fun and fast, this would be a great read for Halloween season. Similar to the other books in the series, it’s a fairly light-hearted romance with Halloweentown-esque witchy elements. There are definitely some plot holes, but if you go into it not expecting a well-developed magic system or a complex plot, it’s an enjoyable read.
ARC provided through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley, Erin Sterling, and the publishers for allowing me access to the e-Arc.
I have absolutely loved this world that Erin Sterling has created. I hope there are more in this universe. I love the small-town vibes that the first and second books had. I found The Wedding Witch, to be a very charming and spicy romance. I wasn’t sure I would enjoy it as much because it doesn’t take place in the small town. But I enjoyed this one. The gothic mansion with a mystery was just perfect.
I highly recommend it! I can’t wait to read more books in this universe!

I loved the small town, witchy vibes of The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse, so I was thrilled to get my hands on The Wedding Witch. It did not disappoint! If you haven't read the first two books in this series, go back and start with The Ex Hex so you can properly fall in love with the Penhallow brothers!
This installment was thoroughly entertaining and had me laughing (or should I say cackling?!?) It took everything I loved about the first 2 books (sassy characters, witchy banter, adventure, and steam) and threw in time travel and ghosts just to spice things up. Yes please. This mix of magical spells and yuletide celebration is perfect for the dark winter nights as fall turns to winter.
Thank you to NetGalley and Avon/Harper Voyager for the opportunity to spend time with another Penhallow sibling in exchange for my honest review.

She has done it again! Every Erin Sterling book is the perfect balance of witchy magic and heartwarming love that everyone needs. These books are always just silly and just spicy enough! I always just have so much fun reading her books and this was the perfect rainy day read to get me in the mood for fall, and even christmas! This was a 5 star read for me and I am sad the series is over but am looking forward to the next book this author writes

NetGalley and the publisher for this book. All thoughts are my own.
I enjoyed the first 2 books in this series, but there was something about the romance in this one that just didn’t connect for me. I didn’t get any of the romance between Bowen and Tamsyn, so when they said “I love you” for the first time I was thrown for a loop. I was interested by the time travel but the resolution wasn’t exciting. I just wanted more!

As always, Serling Sterling gave me exactly what I wanted. I adore this series, and this one is no different. The characters are relatable and nuanced, and the plot and romance are balanced beautifully. It fully fits the vibe for a cozy spooky season. I was looking forward to this and was not disappointed!

I have waited sooo long for this book! I was so excited when I received an ARC in exchange for my review.
I wish I would’ve reread the first two before I read this one. I didn’t remember much about the past characters. This was my least favorite of the three, but I still enjoyed it very much. Bowen was a sweetie and Tamsyn was a witty joy.
