The Wedding Witch is such a fun book filled with love, mystery, and magic. Twists and turns keep you guessing throughout the story, which has a great balance of spice, laughs, and intrigue. Highly recommend!

A solid witchy romance, but I do think it was a victim of insta-love. I was a bit disappointed we didn’t have a longer push and pull between the couple to make the romance more satisfying in the end.

To be honest I haven’t read The Ex Hex or The Kiss Curse yet. However, I definitely will after reading this delightful book.
I enjoyed the time travel and the magical moments. I thought the main characters were a lot of fun and their romance was sweet. The family history for Bowen was a great plot line and I liked seeing him get to meet his grandparents.
I highly recommend this read for both Halloween and Christmas.

I loved the first two books in the series, but this one I didn't love quite as much.
The two main things that didn't work for me:
- The romance between the two main characters went from 0 to 100 real quick and I would have loved more of the story getting them there. It was just a little too rushed for me, which made me not as invested in their relationship.
- The ending. Without giving anything away, I'll just say it was too confusing and there were no explanations.
What I did love:
- The witchiness of it all. I will not pass up a book with witches and magic.
- The setting.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an eARC of the Wedding Witch!

The Wedding Witch is the third book is a series by Erin Sterling. The first is The Kiss Curse and the second is The Ex Hex. All three of these are fun romances in which magic and spells are involved to solves conflicts. This book follows the grumpy, loner brother, Bowen, who hires Tasmyn, the human who finds magical artifacts. They end up being propelled back in time and have to work to get back to their modern lives. Of course, they fall in love, but not without a few obstacles. This was a fun, quick read that is set during the Christmas holidays which makes it even more fun!!

I found the story very boring and predictable. It got better after the wedding, but even then I wasn’t overly invested. I think my expectations were high because I loved the Ex Hex. This just didn’t live up to the hype I gave it in my head.

The Wedding Witch, The Ex Hex #3 by Erin Sterling. Witches, time travel, and great banter.
I rated this 3.5 stars.
Another fun read in the Ex Hex series, cute fast-paced with some spice. Bowen Penhallow has always preferred to be alone to his studies in Wales, and Tamsyn Bligh is human and makes a living procuring magical items. Both end up at the same wedding where a magical artifact sends them to the year 1957.
The banter is fun to read between the two, kept the story going. I do wish that we could have seen their relationship develop, kind of felt like we jumped right into the middle of it.
Enjoyed reading and will recommend for others to pick up this fun seasonal read in October.
Thank you, NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

I really enjoyed book one so when I saw book 3 on NetGalley I definitely needed to read it.
Bowen and Tamsyn are soooo cute together.
This book redeemed Tamsyn for me.
It was boring at first but it definitely picks up as soon as the wedding happens, soooo good.

Let me start this off by saying I’ve been a big fan of the Graves Glen series from the start. I thought The Ex Hex was one of the most fun, cute, and endearing witchy rom-coms I’d ever read, and I’ve reread it thrice since it came out. I didn’t find The Kiss Curse to be as spectacular as the first, but it was still very cute with some good tension brought on by the rivalry between Gwyn and Wells — and it brought me back to Graves Glen, which was a huge plus for me. And so I remained loyal to the series.
Unfortunately, The Wedding Witch missed the mark. I was excited to get back to Graves Glen and catch up with the rest of the Penhallow boys and Jones girls, but they were only there for like half a chapter? I wanted more DRAMA when Rhys and Vivi found out Bowen was crushing on Tamsyn. But in the end they just *Accepted Her* because she *Apologized.*
Then, I was very sad to find out that this story is not at all set in the cute little Halloween witchy town Graves Glen, not to mention not even at Halloween TIME. As Kelly Kapoor would say, “Yeah, I got a question. Number one, how dare you?”
Moving on: I’m not a fan of insta-love, and this was definitely that. I really expected the surliest, hermit-like Penhallow brother to fight his feelings longer, but one second Bowen was like “Tamsyn is hot” and the next he was like “I LOVE HER.” I was left feeling like …why? Their interactions left a lot to be desired, and I wondered if they even really knew each other.
Finally, I don’t get the ending. Everything was fixed and turned out fine and was chalked up to be a **YuLEtiDE mIRacLE!** How did we get our happy ending? **Magic!!** But in this story in which the MMC is a witch, yet he wasn’t shown doing ANY magic this whole story, and lost his magic for half the story (which is never explained, by the way), I’m just supposed to accept that? Nah, man. I am quite disappointed with this installment, but I am happy that the series was continued.

I never thought I’d be reading the third book in The Ex Hex series but here we are. I’ll be honest I’m not a fan of the first two books in the series and I definitely recommend people read other things. But now Mrs Erin Sterling finally got me. The Wedding Witch was a fun fantasy romcom with an element of mystery thrown in.
Like I mentioned The Wedding Witch is the third book in the Ex Hex series. It follows Tamsyn and Bowen, two characters that we’ve encountered and learned bits and pieces of from the previous books. The Wedding Witch follows Tamsyn and Bowen as they end up attending the same witchy wedding, chaos ensues and they are forced to work together to figure things out.
I went into this book completely blind. Honestly I’m glad I did because I realized that this book had a much different feel than the previous two books. The first two books in the series I always felt were missing charm. But The Wedding Witch had so much charm and charisma that at times it left me giggling. To top it off I really enjoyed Tamsyn and Bowen together. Their chemistry was off the charts and they play off of each other well.
Overall this was a fun paranormal romcom that’s quick and easy to read. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for their next witchy read. Thank you again Netgalley and Harper Collins for an arc in exchange for an honest review!

I absolutely LOVED this book! I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series but this book was far and away my absolute favorite in the series. If you liked the rest of this series, I seriously suggest picking this one up.
One of my favorite things about this installment in the series is the magical aspect. Obviously the first two books are also about witches and magic, but The Wedding Witch's magic felt much more fleshed out and believable.
I also ADORED the romance in this one. I'm sometimes wary of the grumpy/sunshine trope because often the 'grump' is just a rude or emotionally unavailable. But Bowen Penhallow is my personal favorite Penhallow brother. Rhys and Wells are great, but BOWEN guys?? You'll love him. And Tasmyn? I love a smart, sarcastic, strong, female lead. She is an independent baddie without being annoying.
This book is a perfect fall or Christmas read (frankly, it was also perfect in August when I read it).

The third book in The Ex Hex series did not disappoint! I was taken aback at first because this book was completely different than the first 2; but it blew me away in the best way possible! The author took topics that I would normally find boring (time travel, haunted houses, history) and made them fun and dare I say, sexy? I absolutely loved this book. I loved that this book could be read as a stand alone but the Graves Glen family was brought in at the beginning and the end so it could be included in the series. My only critique is that I would have loved to know what happened to Anne at the end of the book. We saw what “position” (haha) Madoc ended up in. I really enjoyed this book and dare I say it may be my favorite of all 3 books? Also, Are we sure Simon Penhallow only had 3 sons?

As a fan of Erin Sterling’s previous work, I was eager to dive into The Wedding Witch. The novel presents an intriguing premise: Bowen Penhallow, a reclusive practitioner of dark magic, and Tamsyn Bligh, a savvy magical artifact dealer, are thrown together at a Yuletide wedding with a twist of time travel.
Sterling’s signature charm is evident in the humor and chemistry between Bowen and Tamsyn. Their interactions are lively, and the romantic tension between them is palpable. However, the plot’s reliance on time travel felt like a detour rather than an enhancement. The transition to 1957 introduces some interesting elements, but these scenes often detract from the more engaging present-day storyline.
The time-travel twist, while imaginative, ultimately muddles the narrative. The resolution of conflicts felt abrupt, relying on a somewhat flimsy "it's magic!" explanation. This made the ending feel unearned and left several questions hanging. The focus on their budding romance, while sweet, sometimes felt disconnected due to the sudden leaps in their relationship development.
Despite these issues, The Wedding Witch maintains a cozy, magical atmosphere that fans of the genre will appreciate. The book’s whimsical elements and engaging characters provide a charming read, even if the plot's execution doesn’t quite live up to its potential.

What a wonderful end to a really fun series. I have loved each book in the ex hex, however this ending was so magical and sweet. I loved how we went from Halloween vibes to a touch of Christmas. Cannot wait for more from Erin Sterling.

I have loved every single book in the Graves Glen universe, and even though this one isn't quite focused on Graves Glen we do get another Penhallow brother so it's a win.
Bowen, the most introverted Penhallow brother is searching for a cure for his best friend who was accidentally lost in a magic experiment gone wrong. He's trying to find a special artifact or some kind of unknown magic to bring him back and while doing so he meets Tamsyn.
Tamsyn is a bit of a magical artifacts locator/ dealer and when she meets Bowen (who she is insanely attracted to btw) she agrees to work solely for him. I'm doing so she pretty much forces herself not to develop feelings for him, or tries to anyways. While Bowen is out of town and he cancels their holiday plan she agrees to one final job with a whopping price tag attached. She's not expecting to find herself at the wedding that Bowen is also attending, and she definitely doesn't expect him to agree to help her find the object.
Sparks fly between these two and while on the search they're sucked back in time to solve a mystery that could have a profound impact on their future.
This book was perfect for cozy season, no matter when you choose to read it you'll love it!

Honestly, it’s probably my favorite in terms of storyline and plot progression, even though Wells and Gwyn are still my favorite couple.
The plot is engaging, though it takes a minute to get going. I appreciated the time to settle in, especially while trying to remember what was going on from the previous books. The wintery haunted mansion setting (in Wales, I believe) really adds to the cold winter aesthetic, and I liked exploring more of their world, even though we’re only briefly in Graves Glen. The book has a great mix of elements—forced proximity, time travel with a “Back to the Future” vibe (1957, to be exact), a bit of “Parent Trap”-style grandparent scheming, ghosts, and the grumpy & sunshine trope.
Bowen and Tamsyn’s relationship is charming, with some genuinely cute moments between them. However, I have to admit the romance felt a bit too insta-love for my taste. Bowen shifts from grumpy and barely interested to head over heels after just a few texts and brief conversations, which left me wanting more to really believe in their connection. Also, I would’ve liked to see more depth in Tamsyn’s hesitation to get involved with a coworker—it seemed like that conflict was resolved a bit too quickly. That said, I enjoyed their banter and the overall teasing from everyone in the story. It was playful without being judgy.
Overall, this was a whimsical, fun, and atmospheric read that I really enjoyed.

this was okay, nothing spectacular but a short, cute, simple read. i didn’t love the characters but i liked that it was a halloween and christmas book in one.

To say The Wedding Witch was one of my most anticipated releases (especially for a series) is not an exaggeration. I was bummed when the release date was pushed back (I love a lighthearted witchy book in the fall). Happy to report it worth the wait and I am so glad Erin Sterling was able to take the time she needed.
I enjoyed the dynamic between Bowen Penhallow and Tamsyn Bligh, the time travel, and haunted house. I was a little sad that it's a Yule (Winter/ Christmas) vibe instead of a Fall/ Halloween read. As a mood reader who read this ARC sitting on beach in the Summer it is my own fault I was let down by the holiday setting.
I love a good text/ email conversation to give context for characters relationships and Bowen and Tamsyn's had some fun ones. I felt like it helped shed some light on how their dynamic evolved over time. I definitely assumed there were more conversations and meetings that we didn't see on the page that lead to the gradual build up of their feelings but without that explicit knowledge the declaration of love felt a little sudden.
Sterling does well at writing a full cast of characters to add a bit more depth and I really enjoyed the side characters in this one as well as the glimpses of the previous couples. The plot had a few points that had me scratching my head. I don't know that I ever fully understood the magic system at work in this series. I honestly read these books for the cozy and relaxed vibes and that was fully delivered.
Overall a fun and quick read that I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of from Avon Harper Voyager via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling
Rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶️🌶️
I really enjoy Sterling’s cozy, witchy books, so when this one popped up as a possible ARC opportunity I ran to apply. I’m also a huge sucker for a Christmas, excuse me “Yule” romance.
We meet Tamsyn again in this book. She previously made an appearance in the Ex Hex (book 1) when she sold Rhys and Vivienne the Eurydice candle to capture a ghost and later sell a possessed candle. We also meet the infamous Bowen, Rhys final brother. The attraction between these two is instant and intense.
I wish we had more interactions between Bowen and Tamsyn to really see how they fell in love. Bowen’s feelings felt a bit quick for my taste and it lacked some build up. The ultimate build up between emotions and actions was fantastic. Bowen is the typical “grumpy” male who grunts often as a response. Conversely, Tamsyn is our sunshine female who brightens up the story and evens out this duo.
I really enjoyed hearing the updates on characters from books 1 and 2. This is always one of my favorite aspects of interconnected stand alones and it didn’t disappoint.
Overall, if you’re looking for a sweet, quick read for this holiday season then the Wedding Witch is a fun one for you!
Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Collins for the electronic advance reader copy.
My review will be posted on Amazon once the book becomes available.

The Wedding Witch was such a fun holiday read! This continues the “Ex Hex” series with the third brother, the grumpy Bowen. He’s been working with a magical items acquirer virtually for a while, but on Christmas Eve, they meet in person and Tamsyn turns his life around.
This was a delightful, chaos-filled story. It gave all of the cozy holiday vibes, lots of moments that made me giggle, and some spice too.
If you enjoyed Erin Sterling’s other books, I think you’ll really like this one!
