Our story begins with a spark between our two protagonists, Tamsyn & Bowen. Tamsyn is a human magic artifact finder whom has been hired by Bowen, an actual witch, to find him some much needed magical artifacts. Instantly, there is an attraction between our protagonists leading to some intense sexual chemistry & tension building as readers are pulled into a quest to bring back Bowen’s best friend, Declan, back from a ghostly world. Both of our protagonists end up going to Declan’s x-fiancée’s wedding, where they are sent back in time to fix the mess that started when Bowen & Declan were in college; while at the same time trying to keep their relationship professional & not acting on the need to rip each other’s clothes off. This quirky, magical filled book will leave readers ready for the holidays & wishing they had some magic abilities of their own.

Highlights:
⭐️Tamsyn: I liked her bubbly, honest, & quirky personality. The fact that she is afraid of opening a can of biscuits & made the mistake of dating a DJ when she was 21 had me not only laughing, but connecting with this character.
⭐️Holiday themed: The book offers a quick and enjoyable holiday read without being overly cheesy.
⭐️ Standalone Read: Although the third in a series, it can be enjoyed independently. The main characters make reappearances, but the book works well as a standalone.
⭐️Spicy Content: This is not a slow burning book. The romance is direct and engaging, with a quick buildup of chemistry between the protagonists.

Pitfalls:
❌ Plot Weakness: The plot felt somewhat lacking. The urgency to resolve the situation seemed minimal, and the resolution was underwhelming.

Thank you NetGalley & Avon and Harper Voyager for the free early release copy of this novel for my honest review.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I thought the characters, especially Tamsyn, were fun to read. I thought Tamsyn was hilarious, and helped make up the book.
My only complaint was it felt rushed at some parts. I understood this was a love at first sight, but when the characters finally got together it just felt sudden. And, the ending felt rushed and I was a bit confused on how Declan and Emerald were saved. Overall, I thought the book was great and just an entertaining read.

The third book in the Ex Hex series had everything I wanted:

👩🏻 A strong female lead
🧙🏻‍♂️ Another Penhallow
🔮 Magic
💍 Wedding(s)
❤️ Multiple love stories
💫 A return to Graves Glenn (I still want to visit)

Powerful magic combined with the heartache of lost love sends Tamsyn and Bowen traveling back to Trywxyll House in 1957. There, they meet the house's ancestors and uncover the big secrets that haunt the place. I loved watching the relationship between Tamsyn and Bowen unfold and grow. I enjoyed meeting the cast from 1957 and the multiple side stories that came with them. I was also happy there was another Halloween stop in Graves Glenn! I will definitely be buying this when it comes add to add to my set of the Graves Glenn series. Grab a blanket and curl up by the fire with this magically delicious read!

✨ Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley.

(Thank you to NetGalley for sending me an ARC)

I thought this book was very cute. Tamsyn and Bowen are very likeable main characters, the story was low angst and cozy, perfect to ready under a fuzzy blanket by a fire. It is a Christmas (well, winter/Yule) story. It takes place at an old haunted mansion, where our MCs are working to obtain a magical artifact at a witch's wedding and are thrust back to 1957. So there's some magic, a bit of fake dating, and, of course, some ghosts. It was nice to spend more time with Tamsyn and Bowen as they were only briefly in previous books.

I was a little disappointed the lack of time we spent in Graves Glen, esp since it was such a main point in the previous book, so it's already built up quite a bit and it would've been fun to see it around their Yule celebrations. I would've also liked to see more of the characters from the other books, esp considering they are Bowen's family and could have helped with his personality/character development, esp with everything that happened with their father, which is only briefly touched upon in this book.

The love story was also a bit rushed; when the banter was happening it was very fun - it was very cute watching then push each others buttons - but there just wasn't enough of it. It very much felt like they needed some more time to fall in love.

Also, this book's primary plot has time travel, and no, it does not wrap in a way that makes any kind of sense, but sometimes with time travel you have to be ok with a little bit of mess.

All in all, it as a cute, cozy, quick read! If you like the first 2, and long for witches at Christmas, I think you'll enjoy it!

Magic researcher Bowen Penhallow (grumpiest and hairiest of the three Penhallow brothers) makes a professional arrangement with magic acquisitions specialist Tamsyn Bligh—who is not a witch but has a certain something about her. And then things get really odd!

This is a caper wrapped in a time-travelling romantic comedy. Honestly, I laughed out loud several times. It stands very well on its own, despite being nominally part of the Ex Hex series. You don't at all need to have read the other two books, but if you have, there are some fun passing references. Curl up with a cup of tea and prepare to be entertained!

The Wedding Witch is a fun, light-hearted rom-com. While I enjoyed the first 2 books, The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse, I’m more of a Christmas person than Halloween person, so I especially enjoyed this one was centered around weddings/Yule instead of Halloween. However, I think I did miss a bit of the coziness of Graves Glen. Overall, it was a fun read, and I enjoyed Bowen & Tamsyn’s story!

I love all the witchy books by Erin Sterling, I think even more than her alter-ego Rachel Hawkins.
I downloaded and started reading this immediately once I saw it was a read now.
It did not disappoint! I feel like time-traveling romance is very "in" this year. And I loved that it didn't follow the same formula as the previous two books. And I love that one "villain" in the previous story is now the heroine in her own story and maybe we just didn't know her as well as we should have before making judgments. This is the perfect Christmas time book, so cozy and cute, had me giggling and squealing. I really hope there are more by Erin Sterling!

I absolutely adored this addition to the series! It's rare for me to find a series that I love so much for its completeness. Each book has its own unique, well-crafted story. In this particular story, Bowen and Tamsyn's business arrangement sends them back in time. They must figure out what they need to accomplish in order to return to their own time and lives. Throughout their journey, they have great chemistry with banter and experience some adventures with witchy elements. I loved both Bowen and Tamsyn and enjoyed reading their banter. The time travel element was also a lot of fun. This story is great as part of the series, or readers can enjoy it as a standalone story.

Thank you to Netgallery and to Avon and Harper Voyager | Avon for giving me a copy of the book.

This books takes us back to the witchy fun of Graves Glen--- for a bit.

We're following the third Penhallow brother on his journey (which will hopefully end in love like Rhys and Wells).

"The New York Times bestselling author of The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse brightens up the Winter Solstice with another delightfully spooky novel following Bowen Penhallow and the girl he feels strangely drawn to—especially when she becomes his only hope of salvation after a strong spell sends them to a Yuletide celebration... more than 50 years in the past."

Bowen is a grumpy lumberjack of a witch and I loved his story. He's blunt and sweet and so protective. We met Tamysn in the last book but definitely learn more about her in this one and she's also a gem. Yes she's dabbled in some cons but her heart is in the right place... but is her heart sending her to Bowen?

Such a fun journey through time with them, also some spice for you. Highly recommend and I know there's no more brothers but damn if I don't want another trip to Graves Glen.

Huge thanks to Avon/Harper Voyager and to Netgalley for approving my request to read Erin Sterling’s The Wedding Witch! I really enjoyed this book, I think it’s my of the trilogy, it managed to bridge high stakes and a cozy vibe.

I can’t believe I somehow got my hands on a kindle arc copy (thank you @netgalley) for the third installment of this delightful series. Erin Sterling, thank you for giving us another lovely story with some cute quirky characters that are so down bad for each other, it’s adorable. I loved how we got to to see Graves Glen in the fall for the first two books, and this time around, the beautiful winter wonderland of Wales, where all the leading men come from. It was like a perfect little Christmas love special. Although the series follows each Penhallow brother, the women are just so fierce and a force to be reckoned with. I really would recommend these books to anyone! Whether you’re new into romance reading, you like a cute and spooky fall read, or have always enjoyed the magical world of witches, these books are fantastic reads. Wishing there was secretly a fourth brother so we could get another Graves Glen romance…

I have been waiting for this one and I loved every second of it!

Bowen has been trying to figure out a way to bring his friend Declan back, who disappeared in college to come back as a ghost. Tamsyn has been a procurer for magical artifacts for years, and has worked for Bowen for the past year. They both end up at the witch wedding of the year in Wales and end up back in 1957 due to a bit of magic. The chemistry and banter was fantastic between these two and I loved their story.

I received an advance reader copy of this title from the publisher.

I flew through this book way quicker than I thought possible. This was quite possibly the best way to learn more about the third Penhallow brother, Bowen and more about the family itself. If you liked The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse, you will absolutely enjoy The Wedding Witch and all of its messy Penhallow drama.

Thank you NetGalley & Harper Collins Publishing for the ARC of The Wedding Witch

I really loved the Ex Hex; it was the perfect fall cozy witchy read. I was eager to get my hands on the third installment, "The Wedding Witch" but the release kept getting delayed for some reason. I'm not exactly sure why, but I can't help but feel like the author kind of phoned it in for this one. The biggest difference here is that the story is not set in our precious Graves Glen. I didn't realize how much the university, small town, setting lent to the overall coziness of the story. Our two protagonists, Bowen and Tamsyn, are co-workers that end up at the same wedding. Through a magical mishap, they go back in time. They then work together to get back to the correct timeline. I felt like the plot lacked depth (I know it's a seasonal romance, but still...) and was just kinda basic.

Another incredible book by Erin Sterling! That woman sure knows how to write a romance novel with a great plot as well! I loved The Wedding Witch. I have to say, I was not a romance reader until I was given a copy of the Ex Hex from my cousin. It was a gateway book to into romcoms for me. I love her writing style, the wittiness, and the banter. I got completely absorbed in this book and when I resurfaced, I was sad to find that I wasn’t in Wales or in Graves Glen. There was just enough of the main characters from the past two books to be happy to revisit them, but not overwhelming in a way to take away from the main characters of this book.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC!!

The third book in the EX Hex series. I love these books and the third didn't disappoint. This one follows Bowen and Tamsyn who get transported back in time.
This is a great cozy book to read, especially around winter. I love the banter between Bowen and Tamsyn. Their romance felt natural.
I enjoyed this book very much. It was a quick easy read. Kept my interest. The story progressed nicely without anything being drawn out or feeling forced. Great witty characters.

To sum it up quickly: this book wasn’t the worst, or best, but it’s still less than average.
Maybe it’s because I never felt invested in Bowen, the third brother, but this book is underwhelming. There’s tension, sure but these two pine for the other over one year—a year that happens ENTIRELY off page, save for some emails. That’s why I wasn’t invested in them.
Bowen and Tasmyn are cute, but their book didn’t have enough to entice me. I kept reading because I’d hoped it would get better for me. When it didn’t, I would find myself skimming and then need to go back to the last thing I remembered.
There was a plot, and I remember it, but nothing about it was particularly interesting. Kind of boring, honestly.
One thing though: the dialogue between these two is TOP NOTCH. But…since I wasn’t invested in them, they could have been any characters.
I’m sad this wasn’t the book for me, but I’d still read The Ex Hex again for Halloween.

These have just gotten better and better! I have been waiting years (2 whole ones!) for this final installment to come out and the wait was definitely worth it. It was great to be back in this world and get Bowen's story. This is my favorite of the series so far and I REALLY HOPE that BOTM picks this in October so I can have a matching set.

Bowen's story has everything you could possibly want - a hilarious FMC, a rough exterior but softy MMC, time travel, one bed trope, and parent-trapping (or grandparent trapping I guess). I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has started The Ex Hex series! Loved it!

Thank you NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for the e-arc!

I could not contain my excitement when I learned there would be a third installment in this series. The prior two books gave me all of the Halloween feels in a fun, rom-com way. I was slightly turned off by the cover and the Christmas-ey vibes, because I tend to steer clear of holiday romance books. Luckily this was more Yule themed and was not a main focus of the story.

Overall, a really fun and lighthearted read with what I have come to expect from this series. I wish Declan and Tamsyn's relationship had been slightly more drawn out, as it bordered on insta-love for me and that is probably my most disliked romance trope. I missed being in Graves Glen because that setting lent so much to the overall story, but can understand where a third book set there may have had its limitations. The ending was a bit confusing and quite a bit wasn't explained, but I enjoyed my time with the book so I can look the other way. I will be adding this book to my physical bookshelf as soon as it comes out, hopefully as a BOTM pick!

This was a fun little cozy romance novel by Erin Sterling. This is a book I will pickup when it comes out as I think you will have a wonderful experience cozying up with this book next to your fireplace. The book has a little bit of spice to it as well!
