Huge thanks to Avon/Harper Voyager and to Netgalley for approving my request to read Erin Sterling’s The Wedding Witch! I really enjoyed this book, I think it’s my of the trilogy, it managed to bridge high stakes and a cozy vibe.

I can’t believe I somehow got my hands on a kindle arc copy (thank you @netgalley) for the third installment of this delightful series. Erin Sterling, thank you for giving us another lovely story with some cute quirky characters that are so down bad for each other, it’s adorable. I loved how we got to to see Graves Glen in the fall for the first two books, and this time around, the beautiful winter wonderland of Wales, where all the leading men come from. It was like a perfect little Christmas love special. Although the series follows each Penhallow brother, the women are just so fierce and a force to be reckoned with. I really would recommend these books to anyone! Whether you’re new into romance reading, you like a cute and spooky fall read, or have always enjoyed the magical world of witches, these books are fantastic reads. Wishing there was secretly a fourth brother so we could get another Graves Glen romance…

I have been waiting for this one and I loved every second of it!

Bowen has been trying to figure out a way to bring his friend Declan back, who disappeared in college to come back as a ghost. Tamsyn has been a procurer for magical artifacts for years, and has worked for Bowen for the past year. They both end up at the witch wedding of the year in Wales and end up back in 1957 due to a bit of magic. The chemistry and banter was fantastic between these two and I loved their story.

I received an advance reader copy of this title from the publisher.

I flew through this book way quicker than I thought possible. This was quite possibly the best way to learn more about the third Penhallow brother, Bowen and more about the family itself. If you liked The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse, you will absolutely enjoy The Wedding Witch and all of its messy Penhallow drama.

Thank you NetGalley & Harper Collins Publishing for the ARC of The Wedding Witch

I really loved the Ex Hex; it was the perfect fall cozy witchy read. I was eager to get my hands on the third installment, "The Wedding Witch" but the release kept getting delayed for some reason. I'm not exactly sure why, but I can't help but feel like the author kind of phoned it in for this one. The biggest difference here is that the story is not set in our precious Graves Glen. I didn't realize how much the university, small town, setting lent to the overall coziness of the story. Our two protagonists, Bowen and Tamsyn, are co-workers that end up at the same wedding. Through a magical mishap, they go back in time. They then work together to get back to the correct timeline. I felt like the plot lacked depth (I know it's a seasonal romance, but still...) and was just kinda basic.

Another incredible book by Erin Sterling! That woman sure knows how to write a romance novel with a great plot as well! I loved The Wedding Witch. I have to say, I was not a romance reader until I was given a copy of the Ex Hex from my cousin. It was a gateway book to into romcoms for me. I love her writing style, the wittiness, and the banter. I got completely absorbed in this book and when I resurfaced, I was sad to find that I wasn’t in Wales or in Graves Glen. There was just enough of the main characters from the past two books to be happy to revisit them, but not overwhelming in a way to take away from the main characters of this book.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC!!

The third book in the EX Hex series. I love these books and the third didn't disappoint. This one follows Bowen and Tamsyn who get transported back in time.
This is a great cozy book to read, especially around winter. I love the banter between Bowen and Tamsyn. Their romance felt natural.
I enjoyed this book very much. It was a quick easy read. Kept my interest. The story progressed nicely without anything being drawn out or feeling forced. Great witty characters.

To sum it up quickly: this book wasn’t the worst, or best, but it’s still less than average.
Maybe it’s because I never felt invested in Bowen, the third brother, but this book is underwhelming. There’s tension, sure but these two pine for the other over one year—a year that happens ENTIRELY off page, save for some emails. That’s why I wasn’t invested in them.
Bowen and Tasmyn are cute, but their book didn’t have enough to entice me. I kept reading because I’d hoped it would get better for me. When it didn’t, I would find myself skimming and then need to go back to the last thing I remembered.
There was a plot, and I remember it, but nothing about it was particularly interesting. Kind of boring, honestly.
One thing though: the dialogue between these two is TOP NOTCH. But…since I wasn’t invested in them, they could have been any characters.
I’m sad this wasn’t the book for me, but I’d still read The Ex Hex again for Halloween.

These have just gotten better and better! I have been waiting years (2 whole ones!) for this final installment to come out and the wait was definitely worth it. It was great to be back in this world and get Bowen's story. This is my favorite of the series so far and I REALLY HOPE that BOTM picks this in October so I can have a matching set.

Bowen's story has everything you could possibly want - a hilarious FMC, a rough exterior but softy MMC, time travel, one bed trope, and parent-trapping (or grandparent trapping I guess). I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has started The Ex Hex series! Loved it!

Thank you NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for the e-arc!

I could not contain my excitement when I learned there would be a third installment in this series. The prior two books gave me all of the Halloween feels in a fun, rom-com way. I was slightly turned off by the cover and the Christmas-ey vibes, because I tend to steer clear of holiday romance books. Luckily this was more Yule themed and was not a main focus of the story.

Overall, a really fun and lighthearted read with what I have come to expect from this series. I wish Declan and Tamsyn's relationship had been slightly more drawn out, as it bordered on insta-love for me and that is probably my most disliked romance trope. I missed being in Graves Glen because that setting lent so much to the overall story, but can understand where a third book set there may have had its limitations. The ending was a bit confusing and quite a bit wasn't explained, but I enjoyed my time with the book so I can look the other way. I will be adding this book to my physical bookshelf as soon as it comes out, hopefully as a BOTM pick!

This was a fun little cozy romance novel by Erin Sterling. This is a book I will pickup when it comes out as I think you will have a wonderful experience cozying up with this book next to your fireplace. The book has a little bit of spice to it as well!

The last book in The Ex Hex series has our favorite recluse, Bowen Penhallow, leaving his mountain to attend a wedding at Tywyll House for his best (ghost) friend Declan. To Bowen's surprise, Tamsyn, his co-worker and acquirer of magical artifacts, is also in attendance. During pre-wedding festivities a spell goes wrong, sending Bowen and Tamsyn back to 1957. Together, they have to figure out how to return to 2024 and right the past wrongs of Tywyll House.

This book has it all, romance, witches, ghosts, time travel...Yule love it!

Thank you NetGalley & Avon and Harper Voyager for an arc of The Wedding Witch; all opinions are my own.

Bowen Penhallow's life has been focused on finding his friend Declan who had disappeared doing a very strange spell back in college. He has hired Tamsyn Bligh (who was in The Kiss Curse) to acquire various items for him. Declan got Bowen and invitation to his former fiance's wedding at a house in the wilds of Wales at Yuletide. Tamsyn had accepted a job acquiring a particular gaudy brooch for a million dollars. So both are surprised to see the other. And then when they are whisked back to 1957, they have to figure out what is going on and how to fix what needs to be fixed so they can get back to their present. A fun, short read that completes the trilogy. It will be interesting if Erin Sterling sets any more stories in this universe.

Thanks Netgalley and Avon for the chance to read this title!

t sounds like Yuletide Enchantment is shaping up to be a delightful and engaging read! The blend of dark magic, historical intrigue, and a touch of romance is a winning combination. Here’s a review that captures the essence of the story:

In Yuletide Enchantment, readers are transported to the mist-shrouded hills of Wales for a Yuletide celebration like no other. Bowen Penhallow, a solitary mage with a penchant for ancient and arcane lore, finds himself reluctantly pulled from his mountaintop retreat to attend a grand wedding at the enigmatic Tywyll House. Accompanied by his spectral friend Colin, Bowen’s solitary existence is upended as he steps into a world of intrigue and magic.

Tamsyn Bligh, on the other hand, is a savvy entrepreneur in the world of magical artifacts. Although she’s managed to keep her business ventures mostly above board, her financial desperation drives her to the grand event at Tywyll House, where she hopes to secure a life-changing artifact. Despite her better judgment—and her fascination with Bowen—Tamsyn's plan is clear: get the artifact and get out before anyone notices.

A cottage cozy romance with everything to love. Christmas time, witches, time travel, a little smut, and a cast of wonderful characters. I recommend this book to romance readers who want some spice.

I love all the books in the Ex Hex series. They are so fun and witty. This 3rd book in the series did not disappoint. It probably could be read as a standalone but it does help to understand the Penhallow family and history from the other 2 books.

Thanks to the author, and Avon and Harper Voyager via NetGalley for an opportunity to review this book.

Super fun and sweet, really pulled at my heart strings while keeping me invested in the mystery and romance. It is well paced and super fun! A wonderful cast of characters with some delightful dialogue, a sprinkle of spicy scenes, and some genuine heart.

A really great read!

This was a perfect holiday witchy read. It is the third book in the Ex Hex series but it would work well as a stand alone book but I think the side characters are more influential to the plot if you have read the prior two books. This book leaned more towards romance than the others and was definitely spicier than the other two. I look forward to more books by this author!

A cozy, witchy Christmas book that feels like a hot bath and a warm drink on a cold day. I had a holly jolly good time reading it.

I voluntarily read an early copy.

LOVED this book. Adorable and cozy, easy to read and was sucked in quickly. This was the first in the series that I’ve read, very quickly going back to read the first two now!
