Okay this is hands down the most adorable witchy Rom Com I have ever had the pleasure of reading! This book had me physically smiling at every turn. It was definitely a slow burn romance but in the best way possible.
The Wedding Witch follows Tamsyn Bligh, who made a cameo earlier on in the Ex Hex, so she is no stranger to the Penhallow clan. Tamsyn is a cunning human who specializes in finding witch artifacts. This puts her in direct path of our adorable male MC: Bowen Penhallow.
Bowen is more on the reclusive side, but finds his life turned on its head when he meets Tamsyn.
This book is full of witty banter, time travel, and a lot of magic. If you want an absolutely adorable read this fall or winter, I recommend this book so highly. Thank you NetGalley and Erin Sterling for this opportunity!!

Honestly, I don't have much to say about this one, other than that I'm happy to be done with it. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't particularly compelling. I wish I had read the synopsis a bit more carefully, because time travel isn't something I tend to enjoy, I got a bit too stuck on the logistics of how their interference with the past was going to affect the future, and that really took me out of the book. I think people will enjoy this, it just wasn't for me.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC!
I love this series and was so happy to get an arc of the next installment! This author continues to deliver on the spooky witchy vibes I’m always craving. These characters are so much fun and it’s just a great palate cleanser series to read when I want a book that feels like a warm hug

The third installment in Erin Sterling's Ex Hex series maintains her fun world-building romance vibes. I thoroughly disliked Tamsyn in the last novel, so I was surprised that I fell for her character in The Wedding Witch. While I generally am not a fan of time travel, I appreciated that this story didn't linger on that aspect of it as much as it could have, and it was more of a driver to push Tamsyn and Bown together, than a huge complicated plot point. All-in-all, I enjoyed this book a lot, and look forward to what Erin Sterling has in store next!

A fun rom-com, this was the perfect palate cleanser. The characters were sweet and and their relationship was just adorable. The vibes were so on point that it made me yearn for the holidays. This the perfect book to be read in between much more serious reads. (Round off at 3.5 stars).

It has been such a joy watching this series and universe expand. Erin Sterling knows how to write the perfect book just in time for fall. She is a master at crafting swoon worthy characters with the banter to match.

I absolutely loved this book! It is the third book in the ex hex series and I was so happy to be able to read this book! The main couple were so cute and I loved reading their story!

This book is the third installment of The Ex Hex series. It follows Bowen Penhallow who is known as the quirky brother with the nice beard. Tamsyn is the main female character in this book. She is the best at tracking down all kinds of magical artifacts. An incident occurs between Tamsyn and one of Bowen’s brothers. She doesn’t expect to see them again, but the good town of Graves Glen has other plans for these two. This book was super cute, but also I have enjoyed the whole series. Thank you to NetGalley for an early copy!

What a great addition to the series. This book stands beautifully on it's own, but fills a space that was waiting for it expertly. I have been itching to get Bowen's story and find out if he's actually a werewolf. The romance between him and Tamsyn is so believable and their attraction is palpable. I love the way they get closer and fall for each other despite themselves and the stakes that come with that. And how none of that matters as soon as they are thrust back in time and desperately need to find a way back, but also desperately need each other's comfort. I love the end - some might think it's a cop out but "magic finds a way" for me is words to live by.

thank you to the publisher for the early copy. LOVED this one and loving this series. I know there aren't any more brothers but maybe more stories within the world? MORE WITCHES!!! please and thank you.

Tamsyn Bligh has signed on to be Bowen Penhallows exclusive finder of magical artifacts, but when she comes across another offer that seems too good to be true she decides to impulsively take the job, even if it violates the terms of her employment with Bowen. When the two miraculously show up at the same estate while Tamsyn is looking for the artifact, they both get dumped back in 1957. They must work together to get back to their own time before the clock runs out, all the while fighting their growing feelings for each other.
Overall, very cute. I feel like we also got a set up for a spinoff which I’m not mad about. My first complaint is the same one I have for most every romance book, the timeline is too short for them to have fallen in love. My next is that we got no explanation on how whatever that magic was *worked*

The Ex Hex was my romcom gateway drug, so I will always love Erin Sterling for turning me into a cartoon cover, smut-loving maniac. This was not my fave of the trilogy because none of the time travel/magic brooch/ghost business really made any sense in the end, but I came here for the broody, bearded, third Penhallow brother getting some Christmas-y romcom action, and he sure did, so whatever.

Thanks to Netgalley & Avon/Harper Voyager for the E-ARC! Loved so much! Also loved The Ex Hex & The Kiss Curse, so I knew I would love this one. The banter was so good. Also a cute setting. A perfect end to a perfect series.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series. I’ve been waiting for this third installment and wasn’t disappointed! It’s a fun, frivolous read that just makes you feel good.

I have loved every book in this series and this is no exception. The Wedding Witch is full of laughs, love and adventure. I love the magic and the intertwining of the two Welsh families of witches. The two MCs are endearing and sweet, and new and old supporting characters fill out the backstory of the series in a wonderful way. I highly recommend this series to readers of witchy romance!
Thanks so much to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC!

Is this my favorite book in the Ex Hex series? YES! The tension between Bowen and Tamsyn was SO high because of the fact that their relationship was basically "forbidden"ish by Tamsyn because she didnt want to date people she works with (which I guess makes this a workplace romance 👀) and the burn is slow BUT it is so worth it!!! Also, this book had soooo much suspense! I loved not knowing if and when everything would fall into place. It made me never want to put the book down because so much was happening and I had no idea how it was going to end!
And the ending?!? So perfect! We get to see all 3 Ex Hex couples together and being adorable! I hope there are more ways for us to come back to Graves Glenn, GA!
Thank you so much to Avon books for an early copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review!💞

I love this series so much and I hope Erin never stops making romcoms set in a Hocus Pocus era. Funny, spicy, entertaining. Highly recommend for spooky season but pick up the first 2 books first!! You won't regret it

This series has been SO MUCH FUN! I’ve been interested in Bowen since we met him and I loved his book.
Bowen needs lots of magic relics and the like, so he hires Tamsyn to acquire them for him. Exclusively. She’s an American who travels for this super interesting line of work and he’s a welsh mountain man with a secret. She decides to take on one last side gig that pays astronomical amounts and they both end up at a creepy haunted mansion in middle of nowhere wales for this wedding. And then get sent back to 1957.
With a synopsis like that, who could stay away! I liked both characters instantly. I also enjoyed getting to see emails/ texts to build up their relationship when they weren’t together. Once they are throw together in this creepy castle and then again in 1957, you just know it’s only a matter of time.
The story moves fast and is really fun. There are great characters in the 1957 timeline and I really enjoyed all of them. I also loved checking in with our previous couples in the present day. Bowen and Tamsyn worked really well together and just… got each other and that really shined on page .

ARC Review
The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling
Anticipated Pub Date: October 8
Genre: paranormal romance
Thank you to Avon and Harper Voyager and NetGalley for this eARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own. I was super excited to get the final installment of this trilogy! The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse were both cute, witchy romances that I enjoyed. I think I may have liked The Wedding Witch best of all!
Bowen Penhallow is on a mission to find an artifact or spell that can help reverse a magical accident his friend was involved in during university. To do that, Bowen enlists the help of an artifact hunter, Tamsyn Bligh, to track it down. Tamsyn’s not a witch - just human - but when she and Bowen meet on Christmas Eve, sparks fly. However, because they will be working together, they decide their relationship must be platonic.
A year later (and cute epistolary sections later), the two unexpectedly find themselves at a Welsh estate. Tamsyn is tracking down a magical brooch to try to get a big payment, and Bowen is there on behalf of his friend. Shenanigans happen, and somehow the pair ends up back in 1957 where they have to right a wrong while figuring out their real feelings for each other.
I thought The Wedding Witch was funny and cute, and I enjoyed the time travel element a lot. It’s a playful book, and it makes for a great light, witchy read. I did have some plot questions around the time travel piece, but I’m probably overthinking it because the book doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Overall, it was my favorite installment of the trilogy; the banter between the two MCs and Tamsyn’s personality were great. I recommend it!

The last Penhallow brother falls in love in this third book of the series. Bowen Penhallow falls for Tamsyn Bligh, a human who he has hired to help him acquire magical artifacts in an attempt to save his bestie who, due to a magical accident years ago, is trapped in some sort of in between state. One acquisition leads Tamsyn to Wales where she runs into Bowen and they are thrown back in time on a mission neither know how (or what) to complete.
Since this was the third book in the series, not a lot of world building was necessary but reading the first two books isn’t necessary to understand the story. Low tension/low angst romance with a witchy element. The conflict/pinnacle of the story comes about rather suddenly and is likewise resolved quickly and with minimal turmoil. It was fine but it didn’t evoke a lot of emotion.
