This was a very light hearted read, unlike the previous two this one did not have a heavy fall/Halloween presence and instead takes place in December giving it a Christmas vibes.
A little cringe at times and felt a little bit rushed in terms of the budding romance between Bowen and Tasmyn. They went from 20-100 very fast. Also add in some time travel and messing up the current timeline and then you get a book.
Thank you NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for a review

Thank you so much to NetGalley, the publisher and the author, Erin Sterling, for an ARC of this book.
I am giving this book 3 stars on the account of it was a very cute, fluffy holiday romance; but at times, it did feel a little rushed in the storyline. I did enjoy the plot though but did not feel super connected to the characters or storyline. It was a cute, quick read and I would say it was just good, not great. The love interests went from 1 to 100 with little to no build-up to the events that happened after. I did really enjoy the fact that this had more spice than 'The Ex Hex'. It just fell a little flat for me
Overall, still a nice holiday read and I would recommend it to a friend to pick up.

Christmas gets a little more magical with The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling! In this third installment of the Graves Glen trilogy, we find our focus on Bowen, the loner Penhallow brother, who is often mistaken for a werewolf. However, readers soon discover that Bowen's solitude comes from a determined focus to study magic, interpret spells, and discover magical artifacts that could potentially reverse a spell gone wrong against his best friend. When his friend, a ghostly presence, asks him to attend the wedding of his former fiancé, Bowen agrees, even though it means a temporary break from working (as well as shamelessly flirting) with his remote procurer, Tamsyn Bligh, whom he has been pining after for over a year now. But, Bowen and Tamsyn are both surprised when they discover one another at the wedding, Bowen at the request of his friend and Tamsyn on a secret procuring assignment that she has kept from her employer. When a spell from the bride-to-be accidentally sends the pair back to Yuletide 1957 at this grand estate in the Welsh countryside, the pair must work together to get back to their present day, with all kinds of magic, both Christmas and romantic, flying around the pair.
For me, this was the most enjoyable of the 3 Graves Glen novels. I think maybe I liked the pairing of Bowen and Tamsyn more than the other couples. However, these books are books that you have to just go along with the ride for. If you look at this novel and the time traveling elements too closely, then you're going to find some loopholes pretty easily. You can't read this novel with a magnifying glass and just have to accept the Christmas-y romantic charm that it brings. If you can do that, then you'll enjoy this Christmas romance!

I want to thank everyone for this early gifted copy of The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling.
While I was excited to jump back into this storyline, this book just didn't really do it for me. It was a nice cozy, holiday read, but I just felt that it was rushed in a lot of different ways. The plot was rushed, the tension was rushed, the romance was rushed. The time travel was an interesting piece, but this book just didn't do it for me overall.

I was really looking forward to this one based on my enjoyment of the previous two books in the series. While this was a fun read, I feel it was missing something compared to the first two books. The relationship here felt underdeveloped and overall rushed.

This was very cute! I love a good magical realism/time travel romance, so I knew I was going to enjoy this!
I liked how it gave off more holiday vibes versus the other two that had more fall/spookier vibes! It definitely took me a bit to get into it at the beginning but once I did, I was hooked! This book was highly entertaining, and I really loved Bown and Tamsyn!

This was a fun series. I loved the setting of the book and characters. I think this was possibly my favorite book of them all.

I love Erin Sterlings previous books in this series so I was really excited to give this book a try! Unfortunately it fell a little flatter than the previous two books because of the setting. I found the time travel plot interesting but i feel like not being in the small town setting the other two stories are set in made it feel like it wasn’t even apart of the same series. I did enjoy the banter between Bowen and Tamsyn and still definitely enjoyed the book!

I was very excited to get to read this book and it was definitely worth it. I liked the element of time travel, and it being slightly different than the previous books because it had a more winter/Christmas/ Yule setting and I think that helped set it apart from the previous two. The reader has a pretty good idea of who Bowen Penhallow is to start out with, if you've read the other books, but Tamsyn was a mystery. I liked getting to know her character, and the other new characters in this book. The relationship was definitely pretty firmly developed by the time the main action takes place, and I kind of wish there had been a little more of their working relationship, and seeing them flirt/banter.

I absolutely love The Wedding Witch! Erin Sterling (aka Rachel Hawkins) delivers another delightful, feel-good read. Her signature humor, engaging voice, and charming storytelling make this book a joy from start to finish. The characters are lovable, the romance is swoon-worthy, and the magical touches add just the right amount of whimsy. Perfect for fans of cozy, lighthearted reads with a touch of witchy fun!

This was a fun holiday book in a good series. I wasn't as enamored of Tamsyn and Bowen as I have been of the other couples in the previous books, but I did like the atmospheric setting of this one and the time travel aspect. However, it did seem like the problems resolved pretty quickly and easily, though I guess that is par for the course for a romance. I enjoyed it though!

I absolutely adore this series! Each book has been so entertaining! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

actual rating: 2.5/5 stars
the wedding witch by erin sterling had a premise full of potential, blending magic, romance, and mystery in a festive setting, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite land for me. i had high hopes after enjoying the first book in the series, but this one ultimately felt like it tried to juggle too many ideas without fully exploring any of them. while the premise intrigued me—bowen penhallow, a reclusive witch, and tamsyn bligh, a human who profits off magical items, getting entangled in a yuletide wedding gone wrong—i found the execution lacking in depth.
the pacing of the story was all over the place. it felt rushed, with key plot points and magical elements introduced and resolved too quickly, which left me feeling disconnected from the stakes of the story. the mix of magic, time travel, and romance had the potential to be engaging, but because it all unfolded so fast, i never got a chance to truly invest in any of the conflicts. the characters, too, felt a bit flat. tamsyn’s attempts to distance herself from witches and bowen’s brooding loner persona were interesting but ultimately underdeveloped. by the time i reached the end, i wasn’t really invested in their relationship or the outcome of their adventure together.
i also struggled with the lack of depth in the world-building. the magic system, especially with bowen’s dark and ancient studies, was mentioned but never fully explored. tywyll house, with its haunting history and eerie atmosphere, could have been a central character of its own, but it remained more of a backdrop than a vital part of the story. the romance, which was supposed to be a central theme, felt rushed and somewhat forced. there was little tension or chemistry between bowen and tamsyn, and their growing feelings for each other didn’t feel earned by the narrative.
despite all of this, the wedding witch wasn’t a complete miss. it was entertaining enough to pass the time, and the festive atmosphere with the yuletide wedding had its charm. the blend of historical and modern settings had some potential, and there were flashes of an interesting world in the background, but it simply didn’t go deep enough. the plot’s pacing felt off, the characters didn’t have the depth i was hoping for, and in the end, it didn’t leave much of an impression. for a story filled with magic and romance, i was left wanting more in every department.

I think this was quite possibly my favorite book in the series! It was such a fantastic holiday romance! I loved that it was so very
different from the first two books.
This one followed the third Penhallow brother and was set mostly in Wales instead of Graves Glen. I loved the setting it was atmospheric and witchy! The Wedding Witch took a very different path than the other books and was so much fun! It involved time travel, which is one of my favorite things to read about!
This was a truly magical holiday romance that I highly recommend!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are my own.

I’ve read all three books in the Graves Glen series, and The Wedding Witch is my new favorite. It’s the perfect book for November, capturing those cozy fall and winter vibes. The setting—complete with a glamorously spooky castle—was atmospheric, and the time-tracking element was surprisingly well done. I loved the main and supporting characters, and Tamsyn and Bowen’s romance was both endearing and perfectly timed, though a few of the spicy moments were a bit too much for my taste. The book was a fast read, which worked well, though the ending felt a little rushed with a few plot holes. Overall, if you’ve enjoyed the previous books in the series, this one is definitely worth reading!

✨ Review ✨ The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling
Thanks to Avon and #netgalley for the gifted advanced copy/ies of this book!
The final book in this series, this one was my favorite -- for its feisty characters, for a holiday time travel adventure, and because it broke the mold of the previous two books.
The two main characters have some serious chemistry, like magnets that can't quite resist pulling together. When they both end up at the same place for Yule and for different reasons, it's fun to see how they come together.
This is full of a brilliant cast of quirky and fun characters that you'll absolutely fall in love with! I think this is where Sterling finally comes into her own in this genre. I loved it!

I enjoyed 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙭-𝙃𝙚𝙭 by this author but unfortunately this book in the series was a miss for me. Insta-love is one of my least favorite tropes and the plot itself seemed to be all over the place. I also felt like there was a lot of unnecessary cursing in the dialogue. I don't mind cursing, but for me it needs to be for effect. I've yet to read 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙆𝙞𝙨𝙨 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚, and didn't dislike this one enough to keep me from reading it. I may keep it on my TBR until Fall though to better appreciate the witchy vibes.

I waited until Christmas to read this book, and I’m so glad I did! What a fun mix of spooky season and holiday fun!
The Wedding Witch combined time travel, family drama, and romance all in one story, and it worked so well. I loved the chemistry between Tamsyn and Bowen and the spice scenes between them were as hot as a five alarm fire! My only problem was the very tidy ending without a ton of details to explain it. But still a very fun read!
