This one was both sweet and spicy. If you like a good story with some great spice, this one is for you! The story itself wasn’t terribly long, I read it in one sitting, and I found myself not wanting to put it down.
They’re small town people who lived out big city dreams, are back in the small town and debating whether to go big again. She’s got a shot in Vegas but she doesn’t know if she’s just a fling to him. He wants her but doesn’t want to hold her back from her dreams. Is it something that could have been solved with a simple conversation? For sure. But where’s the drama in that. As they figure out each other, they also show really vulnerable sides of themselves, and with their actions with the townspeople they are shown to both be really great people and probably perfect for each other. If only they would talk about it! 🤣
Thank you Entangled for the copy for review!

SCRUMPTIOUS low-stakes, high-spice romance in a small town reminiscent of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' when they're teens and 'Hart of Dixie' when they're adults. It's starts with a coyote-ugly night on the town and a romp in the supply closet. I'm telling yall - SPICY! If you've been around a few adult romances, you might be tempted to think you'll seen it all. But the way that Usen writes is rich with modern sensibilities and casual kink. I ate it up!
Anna is a dancer - that's her calling, and her passion but her endeavors in New York are coming to a close. She has no idea what her next step is until her childhood crush steps into the bar. But he's less of a 'next step' and more like a 'one-night'. Disappointed by their short reunion, she moved back to her small town to help her grandma for the summer. Only, guess who blows into town to help HIS grandma? Is it fate, luck, or meddlesome retirees? It's definitely a good excuse to continue their summer fling, but the clock is ticking.
I loved the atmospheric setting of this lake side, mountain aired small town. They reminisce about their childish pranks, past relationships and different upbringings. Cozy read with no villains, the only real barriers are themselves and the past hurts to overcome. Although I read it as a standalone, fans of the series will love this heartwarming finale. I will be reading the earlier books now.
Teasers - dancing on a bar, quickies in public, town hall bingo, night swimming, intro to foot fetish (nothing scary lol), lap dancing, multiple os, 'Waitress' style singing and baking, a lot of delicious food.

This was such a fun read! Anna and Max have quite the story, from spending summers together as kids with him avoiding her and her huge crush on him to them running into each other as adults and Max being insanely attracted to her. We’ve got witty banter, spicy steamy romance scenes, turmoil, deadlines and sneaky match making grandmothers, and last but not least Anna’s brother Levi meddling too! This is a great book to read at the beach, lake or pool this summer! 5/5 ⭐️ in my opinion!

Miss Spontaneity meets Mr. young Curmudgeon, how could there be fireworks?!
Anna Rivera is going home to Rainbow Cove to help her grandmother while she is recuperating and while Anna is figuring out her next steps. She has been in NYC for years but her band of burlesque dancers is breaking up so out of necessity, she is moving on. She has also been mourning the death of her Ex, Tim, who was her everything. But, when she sees Max Cooper again, a renewed spark begins to flame. As a young girl she had a big crush on Max who was her brother’s best friend. As young people the age difference was significant enough for Levi to warn Max to stay away from his sister. Now, however, as adults the age difference is not so great. Can Anna be happy back in Rainbow Cove? Can Max be as well? Can the unpredictable Anna sway Max’s plans made in cement? Having read the whole series, it was really nice having the gang from the previous books back together, albeit in cameo appearances…until the ending. Ms. Usen has done it again. Clearly, she is a genius in rom-com-speak! If you like well-written, fun, sweet and steamy rom-coms, you will want to read this series. No doubt in my mind. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Entangled and NetGalley.

One Night Stand Ever After by Amanda Usem, book three in the Unforgettable Fire series, is a best friend’s little sister/forbidden romance. After spending years in New York, Anna, an impulsive and talented dancer, is saying farewell to her burlesque group. While she is up on the bar dancing and shimmying, in walks Max; an uptight wealthy business man, also Anna’s childhood crush and her brother’s best friend. As the sparks fly between them, Anna and Max end up having one night stand; with no promises, no strings attached and never expecting to see each other again. Fate has other ideas or maybe it’s their grandmothers, as they are each called back to their small hometown to help their respective grandmothers. Stuck in their hometown together, chaos, antics, and spice ensue as the chemistry sizzles and sparks, as bright as ever. Anna and Max definitely have some baggage to overcome as well as potential triggers that keep these two from trusting in love and each other. With small town charm and the meddling grandmothers, I thoroughly enjoyed this quick read.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I enjoyed this book! The MFC was very likeable. The story is certainly predictable, but that helped to make this book an easy read and a pleasant experience.

Thank you NeyGalley for this ARC!
Brother’s best friend was great!!! The plot was different in a good way! This book was SPICY!!!! Almost too much spice. However, I enjoyed reading it. I took a star away because it was easy for me to put it down and walk away! I do plan to read more books by Amanda because her writing was well done.
Also, I would have liked the chapters to be divided into Dual POV instead of the chapters being so long.

The book opens with Anna and her burlesque troupe the Glitter Girls having one last hurrah before the curtain closes on them. Emotions are high and then she spots her adolescent crush and her older brother’s friend Max. Still stinging from what she perceived as his blatant ridicule of her, Anna decides to go all out and show grownup Max what a bombshell adult Anna has become, then leave him unfulfilled.
However, Anna miscalculates the impact their interaction has and ends up having a steamy one off with the remote Max.
Circumstances (and grannies) conspire to force Anna and Max to work together, and they continue their physical relationship.
When things become complicated, what will happen when their collaboration ends?
I love a brother’s best friend romance, and I did enjoy this one. This was the third book in the series and at the outset I had difficulty parsing out what exactly the familial ties were all around, but eventually it became clear. While the author can certainly write great plotting and pacing of an intimate scene, the dialogue here can be mad cringe.
All in all a sexy read with some tragic events depicted (mostly off page).
I received an advance reader copy from the author and NetGalley, and I’m sharing my honest impressions.

The third book in the Unforgettable Fire series, this novel focuses on a forbidden love between Anna and Max. Despite not reading the first two books, readers can easily understand the plot. Anna's brother warns Max, a workaholic unable to commit, to stay away from her. However, their matchmaking grandmothers intervene. The story features fun banter, engaging characters, and explores past baggage affecting trust. While their relationship is mostly physical, the characters experience significant personal growth. The meddling grandmothers add charm to the small-town, opposites-attract romance. This book is fun, spicy, and a quick read, perfect for fans of these themes.

The first thing you will notice about this book is that it’s got a really awesome popping cover. The next thing you will notice as you begin to read is that it is hot. The characters are very interesting. Anna and Max are opposite personalities but are highly attracted to each other. The dialogue in the story is fun and flirtatious. The plot is interesting and easy to follow. Readers will find some funny moments as they read. It is an overall great story that is more than just about the romance.

I enjoyed this book, Anna and Max are never meant to be long term, even make up rules to prevent it and just have fun, but turns out they both start to get feelings for each other.
It gives me spicey hallmark movie :)
Thank you Entangled Publishing

I received eARC for my honest opinion
This is the third book of the Unforgettable Fire series, I can say that I didn’t read the first two books but I was able to understand everything that was going on, but now that I have read this book I can’t wait to go back and read the others. This book can be read as a standalone though. This book is all about a forbidden love between Anna and Max. Max was told by Anna’s brother that he was not to touch her because he knew that Max was not able when he was younger to connect with someone romantically and then again as an adult because he is still not able to committed to anyone and he is an work alcoholic, but who can stand in the way of two grandmothers who are wanting to play matchmaker with their grandchildren.
I thought this book was fun, easy, great banter and fun characters. You will see that there is some past baggage that makes it harder for them to trust in love and themselves as well as others. The author knows how to write a book that does have a foot fetish and make it so it's not so cringey. Trust me if it was cringey I wouldn’t have been able to finish this book. I thought the characters were easy to connect with, and both the MFC and MMC had some great growth between them and within themselves. Their relationship starts off and ends really on sex, you won’t see a lot of depth in their relationship but I promise you will get some great spice and you will deepen in the characters themselves more. I do wish we had a little more connection from the characters though. I liked that Anna and Max were complete opposites and not a couple that would have tried to make it work until they had some help from their grandmothers. Their grandmothers really made this story great for me, their meddling from the side lines was the best.
If you’re looking for a book that is fun, spicy, has brothers best friend, opposites attract, small town romance, and fast to read this is a book that you should pick up.
I want to thank NetGalley and Entangled publishing for the opportunity to review this book.

Who doesn’t like a good romcom?! Not me! This book was so cute! I loved it so much! Don’t miss out! It’s a must read.

One Night Stand Ever After - Review
The book starts off in NYC with the main female character, Anna Rivera, a dancer at her burlesque farewell party, when she spots Max Cooper, a guy she knows from her childhood. Anna had always had a crush on him and remembers he never gave her the time of day back then.
In comes the re-meet-cute Max, the main male character. He is immediately drawn to Anna and her dancing. He recognizes her instantly, and sparks fly. They notice each other, have mutual friends, and suddenly, they have an incredible “no-strings-attached” one-night stand.
As the story plays out, Anna returns to her small hometown to help her brother and grandmother at the local diner. Max also returns to the same small town to help his grandmother spruce up a local business. Unbeknownst to either one of them, they both end up in the same small town at the same time.
The steam in this book begins immediately, and for the most part, the chemistry between Anna and Max is physical. Max lives by rules to protect himself from his traumatic past, and Anna lives carefree, ready to break them.
There is not much character development between the two main characters or the supporting characters, but there really isn’t a need for it. This novel gives off a steamy Hallmark movie vibe and is great if you want a quick “by-the-pool” summer read without having to think too much into it. If you’re looking for that, this is the book for you.
Note, I read this book as a standalone and not as part of the series.
Thank you, Entangled Publishing LLC, and NetGalley, for this ARC to read and review.

If you're okay with little to no plot in your romance, you'll probably be fine with this. This is here for the sex, which is literally all Anna was really looking for to begin with. It was a fine read but nothing really worth remembering. It ended on a HEA but it felt really rushed.

Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for an advance e-copy of One Night Stand Ever After, in exchange for an honest review.
'One Night Stand Ever After' by Amanda Usen is a charming and spicy small-town romance that will leave you with a smile on your face.
Meet Max, a high-strung businessman, and Anna, a spontaneous and fun-loving dancer. When they reconnect at a bar, the sparks between them are undeniable. But they agree to keep it strictly casual—no strings attached.
However, fate has other plans. They find themselves back in their hometown to help their grandmothers, where chaos, antics, and steamy encounters ensue.
What sets this book apart is its near non-existent third act breakup. Instead, the characters navigate their challenges together, making for a refreshing and heartwarming read. While the characters may come across as slightly surface-level, the short length of the novel doesn't allow for extensive character development.
The writing is engaging, with witty dialogue and sizzling chemistry between Max and Anna. The small-town setting provides a cozy and nostalgic backdrop, adding to the charm of the story.
If you're looking for a cute, light, and spicy read, 'One Night Stand Ever After' is the perfect choice. It's a delightful and entertaining romp that will leave you craving more.
This was a 3.95 Star read for me!

This was a cute, spicy read. Max and Anna were so cute together I swear. Big thanks to entangled for sending me a eARC to review. Yall are the best.

The title of this book paired with the cover art, had me so curious. I had no clue this was book 3 in the Unforgettable Fire series. It was so well written, that I thought it was the start of a series. Anna is a burlesque and belly dancer, that loves to teach others how to dance. She's adventurous, impulsive, confident, blunt and carefree. Max helps troubled businesses get better organized and back on track. He's smart, reserved, delibrate and a control freak. They're basically opposites, and we know that opposites attract. The banter and flirting between these two had me eager to turn the page. I couldn't put it down. I will definitely be reading the first two books asap.

Anna and “book boy” Max! Wow! This is steamy fun and the chemistry between these two is fabulous! I love girl is the loud adventurous one and boy is book serious needs rules one. It was a nice change of pace!
I love the side characters and how they all played a part in the story. They made me look to see if the author had written their stories as well. A 🧶 crochet kink, who knew.
It was super sweet coming back home and falling in love story! I would read more from this author! She had me sucked in from the start.
The spice is 2.5 maybe even 3, I tend to read super spice.

One Night Stand Ever After was a super quick read with tons of spice, but was a little underwhelming.
