The narrative felt distanced, as if someone outside of events were narrating, telling instead of showing, Firia's story. The dialogue felt contrived. DNFed.

This is my only current DNF. I've tried many times to reading and just can't get into the characters. Interesting storyline, but it's missing that oomph... I'll try at a later date and may change my mind.
