I read about 70 pages of it before putting it down. I wanted the characters to be deeper and more developed than they were. I did like the premise -- the girls from the wrong side of the tracks end up having a rich daddy. But, I wanted the sisters to be more complex and the plot to move faster than it did.

I got accepted to review this book years ago, but unfortunately never got around to reading it. Apologies for this.

I received this book free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

When I had initially heard about this series I was super excited to read it. That was years ago now. I finally got the chance to pick it up and I was pretty disappointed. I did like the rags to riches premises but the author did nothing with it. Literally all of characters have done is underage drink and try to hook up and hook up with hot guys (insert eye roll). There is absolutely no substance to the characters. I thought about reading the rest of the series to see if it gets better but I probably won’t waste my time.

The Secret Diamond Sisters by Michelle Madow is a fantastic read! I loved this book so much and couldn't get enough of the story. I didn't want to put this book down to make dinner, though I did of course, it's that good. I ended up staying up till early morning just to finish this one. I had to know what was going to happen next. Another amazing book by this fantastic author!

The three sisters grew up not knowing their father and surviving the best they could. Now it seems that their luck is about to change...in a very big way. They find out the secret identity of their long-lost dad - wait for it - he's a billionaire Las Vegas hotel owner who wants them to come live in a gorgeous penthouse hotel suite.

Suddenly everything is all-access, and with an unlimited credit card each, it should be easier than ever to get what they want. In a town known for its secrets and illusion, fitting in is nothing compared to getting to the truth of the matter.

This compelling read will keep you riveted, if only to find out what happens. All the glitz and glamour will be blinding at first, but keep reading. What you discover as a reader is that not all that glitters is gold. The characters lack the depth you crave, but all is not lost...there is a sequel. If the ending seemed a bit rushed...I can only hope it's to get you excited about the next book.
