I was so happy to be gifted a copy of the ARC for this!

For me this was better than volume one and I have really enjoyed the world building and character expansion!

Excitedly waiting for volume 3's release.

I absolutely adore this story, and the second volume didn't disappoint! We get a closer look into Ichabod's backstory, the loveable side characters get even more page time, and Ellie's struggles begin to intertwine with a much deeper plot. The pace is quick and enjoyable, and the worldbuilding is seamless. I had questions I wanted answered, but I never felt lost even as the cast grew and the plot thickened. If you enjoyed volume one, you'll love volume two. I'm eagerly anticipated volume three, and can't wait to see where the story takes Ellie and Ichabod next!

Our favorite millenial Scooby Doo gang returns! The pumpkin is slightly less sexy than the first volume, but I am willing to forgive for the sake of plot. Once again, the sexiness of the pumpkin might be all in my head, but if the hot witch dated him, then clearly I'm not the only one. I feel like the pacing in this series is spot on and while I know I can just go on Webtoons and find out what happens next, I'm being good and waiting for the next book (read: arc) to be released.

I received an advanced copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
It's the second season of Third Shift Society, as we dip back into the supernatural world of Icabod and Ellie. This time around, they fight against a creepy theater director, Ellie's bond with Alice, and the troublesome duo of Oberon and Tatiana. Secrets abound, especially with Icabod's past, while Maris, the witch, tries to help Ellie get rid of her oath to Alice. Can Ellie and Icabod save the day despite imps, demons, and vampires?
I absolutely loved the second volume of this paranormal series. (Webtoon has the best comics). Through thick and thin, Icabod and Ellie try their best to help other supernatural friends. Meredith's art style is fantastic, especially with the designs of those creatures. I hope she continues with season three!

Third Shift Society Volume Two is a great follow up to the first volume. I really enjoyed reading the second volume of this series. It's hard to put down once you start reading it. The characters are interesting and add to the story. The art is beautiful. I highly recommend this series to all horror fans and look forward to reading the next volume of this amazing series!

This was such a great continuation of Third Shift Society! The story is easy to follow from panel to panel and the art style itself is beautiful. I devoured this volume -and the last- in one sitting and I absolutely cannot wait for more. I’m invested in what happens to all of these characters and I cannot wait to learn more about Ichabod. The peaks we’ve gotten into his origins have me shaking the bars of my enclosure for more info. If you’re looking for a supernaturally good time, definitely pick this one up.

I've been really enjoying this webtoon. Though, while I was reading this one I kept thinking "why does this seem familiar?" and "Didn't this happen already?" and then I figured out that after the first volume, I started reading it on Webtoons and had already gone past this. I mean, duh, but I did enjoy revisiting these events!

This is such a fun series! I had a fun time reading this book. I'm liking the will they or won't they between Ichabod and Ellie, and I really like the shenanigans they kept getting themselves into. I can't wait for the next book!

This was another really fun read! I enjoyed getting a bit more backstory to the characters, as well as an inside look into what is going on with the other side. The only thing I am disappointed with is having to wait to find out what happens next! The pacing kept me interested the whole way through, even though it had some side stories, they ended up informing more about the overall arc.

Thanks to NetGalley for the advance copy!

The continuing story of Ichabod and Ellie, two paranormal detectives. Lots of action and suspense! It had me begging the universe for more!

I don’t know how it keeps getting better and better, but by golly, it does! The story picks up right where it left off in Volume 1 without missing a beat! I *know* it was 300+ pages but I gobbled it down in no time at all. The mystery! The mayhem! The magic! Meredith is amazing at what she does and I am so excited to see what happens next!!

"Don't worry. Whatever happens, well face it together"

It gave what i wanted and more. With more mystery and cases to solve. I was entertained and absolutely loved the art. I've always been a fan of the horseman and this was a different twist to it. I love Ichabod and Ellie working together and can't wait to find out what happens next.

I love this series! There’s enough content that pushes the story along with investigations but the true star here is the ongoing storyline where they are trying to figure out what Ellie got herself into. There are also hints about what happened to Ichabod and how it might be still happening to others. Fantastic artwork and overall story. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Meredith Moriarty has such a gift for making me sit down and fly through her world. Ellie and Ichabod's relationship is something I can't stop thinking about. This series makes me so happy, the characters are relatable and likable, the art is beautiful and everything is sprinkled in magic. I can not wait to learn more about Ichabod's history and Ellies future. I am counting down the days until Volume Three.

I was so excited to see I was given another arc for Third Shift Society thanks to Wattpad and Net Galley! I was wondering where the story with Ellie, Ichabod, and Alice would go. I loved how we just got right into it without extra fluff. I’m glad we got more of the background on Ichabod, where he came from (or lack of knowledge where he came from), and how his name came to be. Also loved seeing a new character Maris come to help with the little Alice problem as well as more mythology entering the story with the void, the triple goddess, and smaller creatures like imps. The slow burn (or maybe I’m hoping there’s a slow burn) is KILLING me with Ichabod and Ellie. Especially with the small cuddling at the end after a long night fighting corpses.

Now my new questions are what happened to Alice’s daughter? Why is Alice showing up as a young girl? What will the void do to help whatever her cause may be? What’re the demons trying to do instead? Why do they have to destroy the nodes? What did Oberon say to Ichabod? What happened to Ichabod and why did he rise from the dead? Where does Ellie really fit into all of this? Though I know I could get answers from webtoon today, I want to wait for the third book to see where the story takes us next!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Meredith Moriarty for providing me with a complimentary digital ARC for Third Shift Society Volume Two coming out October 29, 2024. The honest opinions expressed in this review are my own.

I haven’t read volume 1, but I was really excited to receive this. I love Halloween graphic novels and this one definitely didn’t disappoint. I loved the graphics! I thought it was really clean and easy to follow the story. I thought the plot was really fun and spooky. There was something good character development. I loved Ichabod and Ellie’s characters. I definitely want to check out more volumes!

I would recommend this graphic novel to anyone who enjoys spooky classic stories!

This was wholesome. I loved their relationship and I feel having that type of characters nowadays works better than just having one lead. Ellie is the best, I love how she is determine to get things don’t even if she is not even sure if she is the right person for the job. I liked how in this volume, we are starting a small gang by adding another character to Ellie and Ichabod. Also the awkward attraction out there and putting a love triangle is making this series chef kisses. I would say this reads more YA, but even as an adult is pretty entertaining.

When I tell you this was a major step up from the first one, I'm telling you I already really liked V1, so V2 had me so hooked! I'm super invested in Ickabod's story, and the relationship growth between him and Ellie is adorable. Plus the action is entertaining, the storyline is growing more complex, and the side characters make excellent additions to the team and the story. I'm really looking forward to the next one!
