This amazing graphic novel does a great job of exploring story structure with narrator-in-training Bitsy and her grumpy wizard protagonist Boozle. Throughout the story Bitsy explains what the different parts of the story are and how to tell the best story possible. The illustrations are beautifully done. I think that this book does a great job of balancing the story and the educational material. At the end there is a glossary of all the terms that Bitsy uses along the way. There are laugh out loud moments and I think this is something that children will be entertained by.

This is one of the most fun and clever ways that I've seen in ages to teach narration and story structure. It was really interesting, and I could see this being a good supplement to go along with lessons on the same subject.

This was such a cute and imaginative way to teach about writing! The story was fun while also being educational, and the illustrations were delightful while expanding the story being told in a meaningful way. I think this would be a great book to point kids towards to learn about the bones of writing. I am looking forward to adding it to the library's collection!
