where do i even begin. I savoured every single word. This is a one-of-a-kind novel that will stick with me for a long time. I have not read a book quite like this which is so refreshing. firstly, the writing???? unbelievably captivating, brimming with romance and nostalgia, while also endless moments of yearning undertones. I went into this one blind after seeing a few early raving reviews and im so glad i did. I was in a constant state of awe and wonder at the world(s) of evelyn and arden. their love is a love story like no other and i am having a hard time even describing it. soulmates doesn't seem enough. i can't wait for this book to fully enter the world. I know evelyn and arden will capture the hearts of many.

Our main character Evelyn is so strong, I love that the author established her as this infinite being that hadn’t been hardened by the world. Because that is the true challenge of life, isn’t it? She is sentimental, hopeful, and optimistic in every life. She radiates empathy and care deeply for every family she is reincarnated in.

Arden is a bit of a closed off character, though about 70% of the way through the book you finally get to understand why. He is such a creative soul, but very much the opposite of Evelyn - ever the pessimist.

I loved the inclusion of his notebook being published, his poetry sprinkled into the story was BEAUTIFUL.

I also loved the linear present timeline mixed with flashbacks of previous lives. There was never a dull moment, there was always something interesting happening.

Beginning to end, this was just a complete joy to read. I was fortunate to read an ARC through NetGalley but will 10000% be purchasing a physical copy to annotate and keep on my shelf forever!

I couldn’t put *Our Infinite Fates* down—it totally sucked me in from the beginning! The whole idea of Evelyn and Arden being destined to love and kill each other over and over through different lifetimes was so unique and heartbreaking, and I loved how it mixed romance with history. The twists totally blew my mind, and even though the pacing slowed a bit in the middle, the ending left me speechless—I’m definitely recommending this one to anyone who loves intense love stories with a supernatural twist!

I devoured this book in a single setting. The premise, two souls who are fated to fall in love and kill each other in every reincarnated life, was so creative and covered so many interesting time periods in history. I will be recommending this book to all my students who love history or love stories.

How do I even begin to explain this book or give feedback? It is an emotional rollercoaster of angst and twists and turns and has you questioning what it means to love, what it means to protect others, and what could it possibly mean to be human? I adore this. The back and forth for all of them, the growth of the characters, the bittersweetness of the ending. I binge read this book, most of it, at my job during down time and then finished it after work. I cried three times. I am so happy that it has a happy ending or I would legit have put this down at a one. The emotional pay off is worth it and it tackles the idea of what if you keep coming back to your soulmate, you're both essentially the same, but you come back as any given gender and are just drawn to them specifically? I loved this. I am still trying to process it all but I adored this and will be looking for more from this author. Holy hell.

Would not put it at the top of my to be read list, but it was a pleasant read and have no problem recommending.

When I hear the phrase, “A love that defies time,” I will now always think of this story. Our Infinite Fates is a sweeping love story full of betrayal, hope, rage, loss, and yearning.

I loved Evelyn and Arden in all of their iterations and was captivated by the mystery of their existence. Every single one of their lives is vividly captured on page - their feelings of grief and despair are so palpable that it’s impossible not to feel right alongside them. Their story is so utterly unique and so perfectly captures their timeless love across centuries, across genders, and across cultures.

This novel puts all other reincarnation plots to shame and shows what it truly means to love. I cannot recommend this story enough to everyone who loves history, fantasy, and tragic romance!

I enjoyed the overlapping narratives of this book and the mystery of Evelyn and Arden. The plot hooked me from early on and encouraged me to keep reading. The characters are emotionally rich, and the plot is full of tiny details that add up to a big reveal at the end. There definitely was a plot twist I didn't see coming!

I loved reading this beautiful book. A certain plot point with their identities did throw me off initially but it kept my interest.

When I started this book, I though "I am going to love this!?" The beginning of the book sucks you in and is just so good. About halfway through, I started to get bored with it. It seemed like a cycle, where nothing really changed. That was the point of the book, right? They're stuck in this cycle where they always end up dying. But I kept waiting for it to get more exciting or for something new to happen. By the end of the book, I wasn't even excited for the surprise ending. This was a good book with an interesting plot, but it just wasn't working for me. I feel bad saying that because it really was a great story.

What an intensely gorgeous story by a rising author. I went in with low expectations of the book because I had seen it being promoted a lot on social media and I have been burned before by books made popular online. I absolutely love that I was proven wrong about this book.

The plot itself was so unique and extraordinary when compared to everything on the market for YA books at the moment. One of the things I enjoyed most about this book was that in every life time the two characters were different genders, from different countries, and every time we encountered them in their past lives, the emotional connection was still there. Evelyn finally finding a life she wanted to stay alive in and avoid her fate in was so beautiful to read. The ending twist really threw me for a loop.

This book was so beautiful and I can't wait for it to be out in the world. I read it in one sitting and cried when it was over. I love when a book (especially a standalone) makes me feel so much in such a short time with the characters.

This book is a powerful, meaningful, stunningly tragic and starcrossed love story spanning over a thousand years. The interwoven timelines and locations, the dispersed poetic verses add depth and nuance to the story.

I loved how the story unfolded as I read. That closing image was so beautiful. This book is well written and intriguing from start to finish. If you love The Unmaking of June Farrow and The Age of Adaline, you'll love this book.

The emotion of this book, even more than the mystery of figuring out why and how Evelyn and Arden have been connected across time, is what kept me reading. Even though this is romantasy, the author does an amazing job of including both romantic and familial love. There was also a great balance between the present-day timeline and past lives, which helped propel the story. My only issue was that the main reveal was somewhat convoluted and expositional (which was especially disappointing given how much the story built up toward that reveal), but overall, the book was engaging and enjoyable, and I recommend picking up a copy once it's published.

I really wanted this one to be 5 stars. The plot was amazing, but I kept feeling like something was missing. Evelyn and Arden were AMAZING. I fell in love with their story. Though I was confused about the devil, I didn't see us going in that direction at all. I was happy with the ending and how we got there, but again I got a little bored throughout.

I've seen it compared to Addie Larue, which I get, but this book is very definitely its own thing.

I've always appreciated a story of reincarnation where a person retains their memories from their previous and past lives, and this is no exception.

Without spoiling the story, Our Infinite Fates follows the tale of star-crossed lovers Evelyn and Arden. As they are reborn and meet in new bodies, with different names, genders, and circumstances throughout history, readers are treated to not just one, but many love stories within a single book.

Although the plot becomes a bit predictable after the initial setup—due to the repetition of the same ultimate ending befalling our two lovers—I still loved the idea of two souls being fated in every universe, every life, year after year, millennium after millennium. I particularly appreciated (potential spoiler alert!) that we see Evelyn and Arden in different loving relationships, each free from the limits of gender and sexual orientation. There is something incredibly romantic about knowing that some souls belong so wholly to each other that they find their way back no matter what.

However, I was a bit thrown off by the fantastical world-building. There were some holes that, for me personally, didn’t quite logically work or explain how certain events unfolded. Particularly toward the end of the book, the storytelling felt a bit rushed. Nonetheless, the build-up of tension and longing ultimately wins out for me.

Lovers of Ann Brashares’s My Name is Memory may find this a new favorite! This book was engaging that I started and finished it in one sitting.

In every lifetime, Evelyn and Arden fall in love. And in every lifetime, Arden kills Evelyn before they both turn eighteen. The story stretches back for generations, curling across continents, through the collapse of empires, and stretching into the present day. Past timelines fold in neatly with the modern storyline, and the characters develop naturally as the reader gets glimpses of their growth. Since the characters are reincarnated every time, the author did an excellent job exploring people of different genders, races, and cultures. The flowing prose was gorgeous and captured the timeless romance and tragedy of the story. It was easy to get swept away by the narrative and to watch the characters fall in love over and over and over again. The pacing was great, as were the side characters readers got to glimpse briefly before they were swallowed by time. My one (rather large) issue with the story was the ending. It felt rushed, confusing, random, and too neat. I was okay with the uncertainty of the curse, so I hated that everything was resolved in the way it was resolved. 85% of this book was a near-five star read but the last 15% made me so angry that I can’t give this novel more than 3.5 stars (no matter how much I would otherwise want to). I still recommend the story for fans of The Invisible Life of Addie La Rue and books that tear out your heart, stomp on it, and then offer you a glimpse of potential happiness.
