This book wasn’t at all what I expected! I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. The science fiction aspects Sometimes went a bit too far in my opinion, it bounced between contemporary to romance to fantasy to science fiction. It seemed like the author was kind of in too many places at once. I would of enjoyed some more backstory and to have the characters more fleshed out. Explain the parallel universe and how it works better. Lean into that whirlwind romance. I’m glad I read it though, as it’s like nothing I’ve ever read before!

A well-written and enjoyable book, I am glad I requested this title and will be more than happy to pass the title along to my fellow library purchasers.
