I requested this one back in the day as I had every intention of reading it. However, its been years and I still haven't gotten around to it and while I feel guilty at not reviewing a book I think that I need to admit to myself that I won't be reading this one anytime soon....if at all.

I was unable to finish the book, but thank you for the opportunity.

The Oversight begins in the midst of a tale and carries the reader into the heart of it. There are the good folks who are trying to hold back the dark forces with Law and Lore, but are handicapped by The Disaster of 30+ years ago that cost many Oversight members there lives. Then there are the aristos dabbling in darkness, allied with hidden forces working with the Templebanes who used to be (and may still be) witch burners. Toss in a loose cannon such as Lucy Harker and Charlie Pyfinches, add in mysterious creatures and you have the start of a story that will keep you reading. Lucky readers will find the sequels that are out to complete this satisfying tale.
