Suitor Armor drew me in with its beautiful style. The linework is clean, the colours are beautiful, and the designs of the main character and her love interest are adorable.

As for the story, I think this would be perfect for lovers of cozy romantasy. Thought the pacing felt quite quick to me, this may be a plus for those who want something quick and fun between stories. For those who want a bit of a deeper, slow burn story, I would recommend skipping this one. The romance comes off as a bit too cheesy for me at some points, and overall, I think the story leans heavily on popular tropes without bringing much unique narrative to the table.

The biggest fault of this graphic novel for me, unfortunately, is that it's story just isn't that memorable.

If you just want a fun little fantasy romance with a diverse cast and cute art style, I would recommend this. But for those who are looking for something with more unique flair, again, this one might be a skip.

A really cute story that is fun and easy to read. While the art isn't the most impressive, it suits the vibe of the story. I need to get my hands on volume 2 as soon as possible because I want to see where their relationship goes.

Readers may be uncertain starting a relationship blossoming between a woman and a magical suit of armor, but surprise awaits you. I was swooning. However, the biggest most enjoyable part of this webtoon made graphic novel is the fantastical lore and history readers only begin to learn in volume 1. Its addicting. You will want to know more. Filled with beautiful artwork and translated well to graphic novel formated, readers of Lore Olympus and all things fairy will enjoy..

This was fun. Lucia is brought home to a new family to be a lady in waiting for the future queen. Years later, the marriage is eminent, and Lucia is interested in finding their way in the new world and the new palace. We know a secret about Lucia that needs to be kept but also is a secret that one can’t wait to be revealed. Add into this a living suit of armor to become the next hero of the realm that while creepy is also so sweet and loving. This book was just a joyride. This is only volume one and I am glad I have two and three already in line.

A sweet and incredibly inventive story, paired with deliciously vibrant and lively illustrations make this an absolute must read cozy romance story. It’s intriguing, funny, and has a storyline with enough of everything to keep a reader engaged

I absolutely loved this! This is such a cute story with great artwork. I first read it on webtoon and then had to read it again in the ARC format and I'm so glad I did. I highly recommend this story for anyone who enjoys fantasy, webtoons, wonderful characters, and an intriguing story line.

This was so cute!! I really enjoy this story so far, and the art style. The story is original and engaging, with fully fleshed out main and supporting characters and an interesting world. I can't wait to see where it goes from here!

This was everything I look for in a cute fantasy story. The pictures are so cute, the story is magical, the characters are lovable and funny. And the gay rep! The gay rep though! Love it. Anyway, off to start the second volume now. 💗

Suitor Armor is one of my many favourite webcomics, so seeing its success has been wonderful! Volume 1 builds just the right amount of backstory and worldbuilding, particularly around our main character Lucia (I love her and would die for her). The art style of the story is fantastic, and oh so versatile. Every character has their own story, and following them along as their identities are established in volume 1 just makes me all the more excited for volume 2!

Suitor Armor, Vol. 1 by Purpah was a fun and interesting medieval fantasy graphic novel about a secret fairy named Lucia who is the lady's maid to the future queen and about all of the unique cast of characters around her, including an ensorcelled suit of armor that takes a liking to her. This volume also had a mysterious tilt to it as we were not yet told Lucia's backstory or what happened to her at the start of all of this. It was a light and quick read and I would be happy to continue once the next volume comes out. Recommend.

Brilliant art work, colour palette and compostions some of the full page spreads feeling genuinely cinematic.

The characters do feel somewhat caricature but there is glimmers of the depth to come.

Initially, I fell in love with the artwork, but then I also fell absolutely head over heels for this story! I'm HOOKED on Modeus & Lucia's story and their character arcs. There's so many things working for this and I couldn't put it down! So much so, I read this first volume and immediately looked upu Suitor Armor on Webtoon to read more 😍 It hooked me! I read it digitally and went to go pick up a physical copy I enjoyed it so much. Can't wait to follow along with their story!

I've been eyeing this Webtoon comic since it first came out. After reading the first few episodes I knew I wanted to wait till there were more so I could really immerse myself in the story. Fast forward and I didn't return to it. When I saw that it was coming out in print, I knew this was the perfect time to dive in and fall in love with these characters. Fall in love I did. Lucia is a lovable main character. You are rooting for her from the very beginning and feel for her need to hide her secret. When she meets Modeus, it's so sweet to see them together. The cast of supporting characters really rounds out the world and give weight to the decisions and story. I can't wait to continue this story when the next book comes out!

I absolutely adore this book! I read it on webtoons and was so excited to see it was being published. The artwork is amazing and I love the story between Lucia, Modeus and Norrix. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoy this cozy fantasy series even more than I thought. Yes you can judge a book by its cover and not be disappointed if you choose this one.. great character development and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

A rather thrilling story is told in this graphic novel. It begins one night when a mysterious little girl is brought to the castle. The king takes them in, even though there is more to them than meets the eye. Years later this child is grown, and is tasked with preparing the princess for her upcoming wedding. One day a tournament comes to the kingdom, and the court mage creates something to give the knights a real challenge. Not only does it win, but it agrees to protect an important person. Over time a bond starts to develop, and somehow this armor starts doing some unexpected things. As this graphic novel nears the end, it is clear this tale is far from over.

A good start to a new and interesting series. I flew through volume one and look forward to reading on in volume 2.

I've loved Suitor Armor for quite a while. This story is so amazing, the characters well drawn, the plot so gripping and the art is gorgeous and unique. I'm delighted that it's going to be published! I hope it's a success.
