The Maple Hills books keep getting better and better.
Book 3 follows Henry, the new captain of the Maple Hills Hockey team, and Halle a newly single people pleaser and aspiring author. They make a plan to help each other out as Henry needs to pass an English class while Halle wants some dating lessons.
Henry and Halle were a one of a kind couple. Their honest communication, mutual respect, quirks and undeniable chemistry made it easy to route and fall for them. I love how this differed than Icebreaker and Wildfire and their relationship was a slow burn (no spice until about 70%) friends to lovers progression. Alongside their relationship, both characters had substantial growth of them own, especially Halle who got to make a life of her own for the first time. While this book was emotional, there were so many hilarious moments with endless group chat and college laughter.

Thank you Atria for the ARC!!

This was one of my most anticipated books of 2024 and boy did it exceed all of my expectations!! Which were very high!!
Henry is one of those characters we don't get to see very often, especially in Romance. He's neurodivergent, with vibes pointing to a combination of ADHD and Autism (neither of which are diagnosed but iykyk) and it was so wonderful to see him surrounded by friends and family members who understand his sensory needs and go out of their way to make him as comfortable as possible.
If to be loved is to be known, then Henry and Halle are love's perfect representatives. Both of them are highly conscious and aware of the other's needs (Halle in large part due to being a people pleaser but she grows out of that) and it was so refreshing to read a romance with such clear communication and understanding between the two MCs.
I also really loved the cameos from the last 2 books! Russ and Aurora especially, since we get to see the results of their relationship/individual growth in their dynamics with other characters.
Overall, I don't think it's possible to love this book any MORE than I did. 10/10 highly recommend!

The way I still haven't even processed being approved for this ARC, let alone that I completed reading it! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to read the next installment in the Maple Hills series.
This book follows Halle, a people pleasing book lover, who meets Henry, the charming hockey star now picked captain who we have wanted to know more about for two books. Henry, while searching the bookstore for leadership books to gain confidence in his new title, coincidentally crashes Halle's book club. There, the two begin talking, and realize Halle can help Henry with a class he is struggling with, while Henry could help Halle be a stand-in boyfriend that she deserves coming out of a very one-sided relationship.
This was my favorite slow burn friends to lovers. It also helps that Hannah Grace wrote the characters with such elegance in their communication skills, struggles with ADHD (Henry), and being an overachiever who can't seem to say no (Halle).
This book was funny, heart-warming, and I just want to hug all of these characters. Cannot wait for the next one!

Hannah Grace does it again! I've been such a fan of her Maple Hills novels thus far and was so excited to receive Daydream. It's a funny, steamy, and oh-so delicious summer read that many romance readers, such as myself, are sure to enjoy. I loved seeing Henry get his own book and it was a perfect way to round out his story. I'm excited to see what Grace has next for us!

This book was sooooo long but I enjoyed every minute of it. Grace has really pulled back from the smut and for me that worked a lot because I like smut but I feel like I don’t need it. This was a perfect book and I loved Halle and Henry

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for my an eARC in exchange for my honest review.
Daydream is perfect for anyone looking for a sloooow slow burn friends-to-lovers romance, and a deep focus on mental health.
The spice level on this one was way lower than Grace’s previous books, Icebreaker and Wildfire. Halle and Henry are both deeply focused on working through their personal struggles during the story, and that takes precedence over their romance.

Love this series and Daydream was no exception. I loved the dynamic between Henry and Halle and how beautiful their relationship is in that they take it so slow. Halle having come out of a really crappy relationship couldn't have found a better partner in Henry and I loved how Henry was able to grow and advocate for himself as his character grew. The fact that you don't have to do everything on your own was an amazing reminder in the midst of the is beautiful love story. Can't wait to read the next!!

there is no better feeling than when your most anticipated book of the year ends up being so worth the wait and everything you wanted it to be and more 🥹
i have absolutely adored and obsessed over henry since meeting him in icebreaker two years ago and have been eagerly (and impatiently) awaiting his book since then. on october 11, 2022 i posted an update while on page 259 saying “i fucking love henry oh my god.” and to be able to say the same thing about him almost exactly two years later from icebreakers release is the best feeling in the world 😭
i knew before even starting chapter 1 just from reading hannah’s note to us that this book was going to be so special to me and make me feel so seen as someone who has felt different their whole lives and has never gotten a diagnosis for why i think, act and feel emotions differently than most people i know. i have struggled a lot over the course of my life with all of the same things hannah is vulnerable enough to be open with us about in this letter. which after reading thought to myself, no wonder why i connect with her characters so much and love them the way i do. she makes me feel seen and heard when more often than not i have been told “youre fine” when trying to be open about things and thoughts i deal with daily.
that being said i feel extremely over protective of this book but still very much understand reading is subjective, but if you dont like it PLEASE do not let me know bc i WILL wither away 😂🤺🤺
halle and henry, oh my loves. i could not think of a more perfect couple to ever exist. to be loved is to be known, to be seen and heard inside and out. i am truly at a loss for words about how to describe my love for them. these two have a connection like no other and quite honestly i have rarely ever found between the love interests in the majority of books i have read prior. their slow burn friends to lovers was absolutely breathtaking, as we get to see them both work on themselves and with each other to become to person they want to be in life, pushing each other and celebrating the things they overcome as a team while simultaneously getting to watch the two fall head over heels in love with the other.
while this book is a very emotional one in so many different ways this book is downright hilarious. i have never laughed so hard while also crying at the same time.
long story short, my heart absolutely belongs to this book and all of the characters in it. when i die pls bury me in my folklore cardigan with this book in my hands tysm

The 3rd book in the Maple Hill series is a must read! I think this may be my favorite one so far! Henry and Halle get to know each other in this one-and Henry is the BEST! So, so lovable! This is one is a bit more of a slow-burn, with the steam coming closer to the end of the book. Thank you to NetGalley and Atria Books for the advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!

This book took me way too long to read because of moving during the middle of it, but it was so cute! Henry is the perfect golden retriever MMC, and Halle has such a great growth arc and matures through the book. Their connection is super cute, and I loved all of the Taylor Swift references of course. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

When Grace first published Icebreaker, I fell in love with her writing, the dramatics, the romance and relationships. With Wildfire, I was sucked completely into Russ and Aurora's story and I loved that it was separated from the school setting. With Daydream, I really didn't know what to expect. Henry was like our white knight, always there to tell the truth or to save the day. I wasn't sure if I'd end up loving or hating his story, simply because his spotlight could have gone in so many different directions.
Ultimately, Grace did not disappoint. There's always the flair for dramatics, but in the end I felt that Henry and Halle were our most down to earth pair, the ones that reflected every day struggles the most.

This might have been my favorite read of the year! Having read the other books in the series, I was excited to read Henry’s story. Henry exhibits a lot of “neurodivergent” traits and tendencies and is struggling in one of his classes due to learning differences. He befriends Halle and she helps him with his coursework. Halle has a goal of writing her own book, but is struggling, as she feels she hasn’t lived through enough experiences. Henry and Halle vow to help each other. Along the way, their friendship grows. My favorite thing about the story was the way that Halle made accommodations available for Henry that made things more accessible. Similarly, his support of her was equally beautiful. I loved that the author’s note touched on Henry’s differences and how a medical diagnosis would not be included in the story. I found the characters extremely relatable. The pacing was excellent. I am recommending this to everyone!

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were well developed and lovable. The pacing was perfect and left you wanting to read more. I can't wait to read more by this author!

First thank you to NetGalley and Atria for this arc!
Daydream is the sweetest and romantic book ever! Henry is now captain of the Maple Hills Hockey Team and he is struggling with a class, making sure he’s the best captain. Enter in Halle, Halle is super smart, loves reading, runs a bookstore book club, works at a hotel and the “family manger” as in she does everything for everyone but doesn’t make time for herself. Her longtime boyfriend breaks up with her and now she’s trying to have a fresh start at college by going out more and making friends. She meets Henry and they come up with a deal. She helps him with his class and he helps her with more life experiences like dating. After all if she wants to be a romance author she needs to know some things…..
This book is so cute and romantic, I feel like I could relate to both characters Henry who is outspoken but sometimes struggles to express himself and ask for help and Halle who is trying so hard not to be a people please all the time. These two are perfect for each other and Henry is such a romantic. I love how he took his time with Halle, helped her realize she is beautiful and confident. Halle being extremely patient with Henry and helping him express himself. We love a man who knows he’s not well, communicates it asks for time to work on himself to be better!
I love seeing the whole gang back especially Nate and J.J
The girls are gonna love a certain scene at the end
Oh and the Painting scene with both of them!!!!!! 🔥🥵

This installment in the Maple Hills series was better than the last! Henry is my favorite character and I felt the tough storylines were touching as he and Halle helped each other through. I think Hannah Grace has a good understanding of problems faced by young adults and turns them into wonderful, and yet still, fun novels.

I love all of Hannah Graces books and I was so excited for the third book in the Maple Hill series. I forgot how much I loved all of these characters and the this book with Henry and Halle did not disappoint. I loved everything about their relationship, and watching them go as the book progressed. I love how patient and kind Henry was with Halle a true gentleman through and through. Any book Hannah writes in my mind is gold and I will be lining up to read them. This story lives up to the expectations of her other two books and I love how she created the depth of these characters. I can’t wait to read more by this author. Thank you netgalley and publisher for the advanced copy! I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!!

Hannah Grace is amazing and I absolutely love her writing style and books. Daydream had me hooked from the start and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I cannot wait for it to come out so I can share it with my patrons!

Thank you so much for this arc! I squealed and started it immediately when I received it!
The third in the Maple Hills series brought us Henry’s story. We loved this loyal, quiet friend especially in book 2, Wildfire. But this book really gives us so much more.
Henry has a lot going on. He’s the captain of the hockey team which had responsibilities on and off the ice. He's also working so hard in his classes, and managing a social life. He meets Halle which is dynamic. She’s sort of on her own, but seemingly confident. She’s smart & bookish. She discovers she can help Henry with the class he may fail while he can help give her some dating experience as material for her book. We love a fake date trope- especially knowing exactly where it is headed.
We really get a lot of pieces of Henry without a formal diagnosis- which I really respect the authors choice to do. Both of our characters seem to have it together on the outside but have many internal struggles. It seems Henry may have some autistic qualities and Halle has a lot of self doubt. I love the way these two figure each other out. They really learn how the other works and not only respect it but try their best to help. Of course it’s frustrating to watch them each fall for each other and pretend to the other that they’re not. But that’s a rom-com for you! I did love the community they both built around themselves & how willing that group was to help at a moments notice.
This book was a bit lengthy. And while I’ve been out of college a while- it seemed that some plot lines may be extreme. Maybe a younger demographic wouldn’t feel that way. I truly couldn’t stop reading this book though! It gave me all the feels!

Wow! The 3rd book in the Maple Hills Series did not disappoint, if anything it was my favorite. Halle and Henry were both so relatable and genuine which made this book impossible to put down. It was fun to see familiar characters such as Nate, Aurora, and Russ popping up throughout the book. I already want to re-read it and can't wait to find out who book 4 is about! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I been really exited about this book for so many reasons. Since book one onthe mapple hills series i want to know Henry more. And i like Wildfire so much. This book is all the things that are good in a romance book. Henry is a unique character. I won´t stop recommend this books and i can´t wait to have one phisical copy in my hands.
