It did take me a while to get into this novel. It’s the second part of The Skye Sisters Trilogy, but it was great to be back with the Wynter Sisters on the beautiful Scottish island of Skye. In this instalment we are back with Ezzie, she’s recently been promoted to Manager at Rotharch Hall and is about to welcome the Larsson family from Sweden for an extended break over the festive period. Ezzie soon befriends Mats and his adorable children Astrid and Alvin but it seems Ezzie’s past is about to rear its ugly head and could spell trouble for her. This is a lovely festive read combining traditions from both Scotland and Sweden. It’s great in that Ezzie’s sisters, Valentina and Thea are still involved and that they have their own stories linked in. This is the second installment in the Skye Sisters trilogy, and after falling in love with the sisters and Skye in the first book, I was excited to dive into this one. I’m happy to say I wasn’t disappointed! Although this book has a slightly slower pace than the first, it doesn’t detract from the story at all.

In this novel, we follow Ezzie, who has just been promoted to managing Rothach Hall for the Larsson family. She is busy preparing for the winter and Christmas season as the entire family plans to stay. Early arrivals include Grete, her son Mats, and his children, Alvin and Astrid.

I absolutely loved returning to Skye in this book. It was also great to see Thea, Dev, and Valentina still involved in the storyline, with their own ongoing stories to tell. I’m eagerly anticipating the final installment of this trilogy and can’t wait to see how everything concludes.

A really lovely read. The second book in this series and it doesn't disappoint as we focus on Ezzie Wyter who is now the manager of Rothach hall and when some of the family decide to have an extended Christmas at the hall Ezzie becomes attracted to the owners son Mats when he arrives with his children but because of her past she remains cautious. It's full of festive fun and a wonderful location and the story with Ezzie and her sisters is really interesting as we find out more about them. Really looking forward to the next book in this wonderful series

This second book in the Skye Sisters trilogy is a delightful, festive romance set in Scotland, with a charming touch of Swedish influence. It captures the magic of Christmas perfectly, making it a heartwarming and feel-good read. While I enjoyed this addition, having read the first book, it also works well as a standalone. The author thoughtfully provides the necessary backstories, so new readers can easily follow along. Overall, it's a cosy and enchanting festive read, perfect for the season!

I loved being back on the Isle of Skye. The descriptions of the surrounding throughout the story was just magical. The characters really came alive and I loved how the story unfolded. A real page turner perfect for snuggling up with a hot chocolate in front of the fire.

A perfect cosy read to curl up with (preferably in a snug cottage in Skye!) - one of those hot-chocolate-hug-in-a-mug kind of books that you'll want to hide yourself away in. Really lovely stuff.

After having read Under a Summer Skye, which was book 1 in the trilogy, I couldn't wait to read this book, the 2nd in the series. The books follow the story of the 3 Wynter sisters. All 3 were adopted into the Wynter family from different families. Two of the Sisters work at Rothach Hall on the Isle of Skye.

The 2nd book is mainly centred on Ezzie Wynter, who manages Rothach Hall for the Larson family.

I really enjoyed getting to know Ezzie. She is portrayed as a kind, hardworking girl, who is liked by everyone. I could imagine being friends with her. I love how the author developed her character, and how her relationships with her Sisters and the Larson family progressed throughout the book.

What I think the author excels in, with every book she writes, is her descriptive writing of the settings of her books. From the countryside of France, to Italian Vineyards and snowy Swiss towns. This book is no exception. I have fallen in Love with the Isle.of Skye. Its beautiful colourful cottages, quaint towns and relaxing sea fronts. I looked it up.and it was just how I pictured it. It is obvious that a lot of research went into the book.

I loved A Skye Full Of Stars and didn't want it to end. I can't wait for book 3, but will be sad at the end of that as I know I'll be saying.goodbye to the Wynter sisters.

Another lovely read from Sue. Set in Scotland during the build-up to Christmas, this was a beautiful setting for a festive story. Loved the descriptions of the Isle of Skye and all the celebrations. wow I really loved this second book in the Skye sisters trilogy. Fantastic story and loved finding all about Ezzies birth family. I really could not put this book down and cant wait for the third book in the series.

This is book two in the wonderful Skye Sisters Trilogy and was everything I hoped it would be. I'd been looking forward to Ezzie's story after learning about her in Under a Summer Skye and it drew me in right away, written in such a way where you couldn't help but want things to work out for her.

Ezzie Wynter has been made manager at Rothach Hall but is thrown a bit when the Larsons, the hall's owners and their family decide to spend Christmas there - and not only that, but some of them appear a few weeks early! The early guests include Mats and his two children, upset because their mum has left them and decided to go travelling over the holidays.

Ezzie and Mats relationship gets off to a rocky start, and when Mats inadvertantly discovers Ezzie's and her sister Thea's secret from the first book, she soon has to decide whether or not she can trust him. And then when unexpected visitors turn up looking for her, she suddenly feels alone and confused.

I don't want to give too much away but I loved the way we saw Ezzie's relationships develop and change during the course of this book. Her two sisters had issues to deal with themselves, leaving Ezzie feeling alone, before realising she had others who cared about her and that her sisters would always be her sisters.

The descriptions of beautiful Skye were also a highlight of this book, and it really is the perfect Christmas book. ❄️⛄ I highly recommend this one and the first in the series - and I also can't wait for book three!

This is the second book of a trilogy and although I have not read the first book it did not stop my enjoyment of this one as the author provided enough detail for me to catch up. Ezzie Wynters is one of 3 adopted sisters and part of a close family but in this story a secret comes to light that threatens to cause a rift between them. Coupled with that is the unexpected arrival of Eddie's birth family who have managed to track her down, turning her world upside down. All of this is happening on the approach to Christmas while Ezzie is working at Rothach Hall where the owners family are visiting from Sweden, including Mats Larson, and romance is in the air. A really enjoyable, cosy, Christmas book

Having loved the first book in the series unfortunately I was a little disappointed with this book at the slow start as it seemed to be giving a lot of recap from the first book. However once a little way through I started to enjoy the book and this focused on Ezzie. Now Manager at the hall the owners have decided to have a Larson family Christmas at the hall which includes Mats who has 2 children and has just gone through a divorce. Ezzie finds herself attracted to Mats however is very conscious that his family are her bosses so isn’t sure if she should encourage this. As we know from book one the Wynter sisters were adopted and again this is explored. It was also lovely to catch up with Thea and Valentina who has just bought a holiday home on Skye. I enjoyed the way the author brought on Swedish traditions and gave insight into how they celebrate Christmas.
A lovely festive story and I look forward to the next book in the series.

I enjoyed being back in Skye again. This is the second book in The Skye Sisters Trilogy. Telling us the story of Ezzie who the the manager of the stunning Rothach Hall.
With familiar characters and stunning destinations Ezzie takes over the planning of Christmas on the Isle of Skye when the Swedish owners come for a family Christmas.
What Ezzie doesn’t expect is matts the owners son to come and capture her attention.
A beautiful festive read in magical Scottish surroundings.

Although this book is part of a series, it also works well as a standalone story. Sue Moorcraft writes very well, the book has some easy to get to know characters and I found it very touching and emotional in parts

The second book in a series, but can be read as a stand alone. I enjoyed the tentative relationship between Mats and Ezzie and am left wondering if they can make it work. I enjoyed catching up with Thea and Dev and loved the smattering of Swedish customs that were sgared. A great festive read.

What is family? Is it safe to connect with your birth family? Are you an orphan even if you’re an adult when your parents die? All thoughts going through Ezzies head as she takes on the manager role at the hall. Living in the Isle of Skye working for a Norwegian family, with her sister by her side, Ezzie has it all. Or does she? Secrets and lies and unexpected visitors are all part of what make this a great read. If you like romance and family drama mixed with a need to go to the Isle of Skye this is a must read for you,

Another thoroughly enjoyable read from Sue Moorcroft and the second in the series following three adopted sisters Valentina, Ezzie and Thea. This book follows the middle sister Ezzie and I don't think one needs to have read the first book in the series as it would stand alone. Wonderfully atmospheric wintery descriptions of the Isle of Skye. Plenty of ups and downs with well drawn characters plus love interest for Ezzie in the form of Mats Larson the son of the family Ezzie and Thea work for at Rothach Hall. A few more serious issues in amongst the festive cheer with a sprinkling of Swedish Christmas traditions throughout make this a cosy Christmassy book.

Thoroughly enjoyed this story and how it is part of a series but with a non essential read of the previous book. This brought so much emotion to me as you followed Ezzie's story.
