It also helped me build my profile according to the requirements, that most publishers would want to see. It is an easy to read book with guides that are easy to follow. I have improved in writing my review because of the tips written here. If you are a newbie like me, I definitely recommend to start reading this. A great book for starters!

We Are Bookish has put out so many helpful resources for reviewers who are just getting started. I really wish I had been immediately assigned this when opening a NetGalley account. (Maybe it should be included as a read now link when sending initial NetGalley account emails lol). Having looked at the 2024 Reading Journal and finding it incredibly similar to the older version (albeit with improvements to colour and readibility), I expected the same here - but that is not the case!

This Booklet contains far more information than NetGalley's previous version of it, so already this will be very promising for users both old and new! This contains screenshots of the NetGalley interface so users can understand how to navigate around. And they have some excellent examples of how to write things: like how to write a compelling book review (bonus that they used Pride and Preudice as an example, one of my favourite Austen books) or a profile for what kind of reviewer type you are. This will be super helpful to newbies on the scene!
